My degree falls in A3 category in Anabin data base but in the certificate, it shows both Conditionally comparable (Bedingt vergleichbar) and Corresponds (Entspricht)to Baccalaureate/Bachelor 3j. Hello, Thank you very much for your video. Recently I applied for Statement of Comparability in ZAB for reason that when I have been graduated the program was not accrediated. The fact is that in my home country there are some laws that the new programs because at that time my program was new in 2018 and I graduated in 2021. Due to Covid19 the process of accreditation finished in 2022. Of course regarding the laws of higher education in my country my university issued my diploma after the accreditation was finished but they only see to one website the year when the decision has been approved and the date that will finish the accreditain and they not even asked me for any proof in case the doubt for authenticy. What do you suggest me to do or anybody in my case. I have one Master Degree also which I have recently finished. That one fulfill their accreditation requirements. Do you think Master Degree will override my bachelor degree accreditaion?

Dear Maj, generally degrees of H+ universities are recognized, however the Embassy may request any document that they find necessary, so it is not uncommon. We also mention in our videos that authorities may request some additional documents as well if they think that they are required.

However if the authority requires recognition of your specific degree, you'll need to check it. Also if the authority requires an official Statement of Comparability of your degree, you'll need to apply for it. The exact requirements should be checked with the authority.

If there is an absolute requirement to provide a confirmation that your degree is recognized, it doesn't make much sense to apply without having such a confirmation. Unfortunately we can only assist with getting a confirmation for diplomas of recognized universities.
