Hi KenTech41! For Job purpose you need statement of comparability. Because for getting EU blue card it is mendatory that you must have educational credential evaluation from Germany. For this purpose what you can do is to send an email to ZAB by mentioning your situation in details. Try to translate your message in German language and send them. Wait for their reply and after getting their reply let me know if your problem get solved or not. Thanks

Hi @Integ des: (1) - It is better to have statement of comparability for both bachelor's and masters degree as well. But if you get statement of comparability for only masters degree that should be fine. Because you will get admission or job on the basis of masters degree. (2) - If you want to get statements of comparability for botb degrees then you need to fill two application forms and submit separately and pay the fees separately. (3)- if it is updated on website now that attestation from HEC is required then you should get HEC attestation first. When I made this video HEC attestation wasn't mendatory. Only Notary public attestation was fine for them.

Brother try to understand. You get your original degrees attested from HEC. It is must that you need to attest original degrees. But then take a simple photocopy of original attested degree. That photocopy from both side should work. If you get notary public attestation of photocopies then it will make them a certified true copy of original documents. Earlier it was mendatory because you send photocopies to them not original. And notarization of photocopies tell them that it's true copy of original document. This photocopy is not edited or forged.
I just checked again, they have written already "a photocopy certified by a notary public or public authority". It is required if your degree is not attested by HEC. You can check document checklist on website.

I have one very special case which is preventing me from making a statement of Comparability. I have been working for 2 years as a freelancer for a German Company. Now I want to go there I have my contract as it should be. They rejected my application because my bachelor degree was not accredited at the time of my graduation for two reasons one delay during COVID-19 and another one because there was a new program as per my country laws the university should issue diploma after accreditation has finished. So I got my diploma after accreditation completed after my graduation. I don't know how to override this bureaucracy. I have one Master Degree which fulfills their requirements.
If you have masters degrees that full fils their requirements then you should check in Anabin database about that degree. If your master’s degree exists with H+ status then take out the print and show to the embassy. They will accept it. If your degree and university don’t exist in Anabin with H+ status then apply for ZAB/ statement of comparability. You will get that in 2-3 months and then apply for visa. After getting positive zab embassy can not reject your visa due to degree issue.

If you open your university in Anabin database there would be a print out option. Just press take print and then you can save it to pdf also for later usage.

No, there isn't any chance. Firat you apply. They will check your application and degree and category. If all good, then they send you an email to deposit fee. Otherwise you don't submit any fees in case of any issue.

First of all it’s sad to hear that bad news. Now you can appeal against the decision of German embassy. You have 30 days to appeal against visa rejection. Meanwhile apply for ZAB certificate, and tell them that your ZAB/Comparability certificate is in process.

Answers: 1- yes 2-yes all degrees before MBA 3- Only MBA degree for which you want equivalent should be attested, others may or may not be. No issue. But the photocopies of all should be notarized.

If embassy or relevant authorities asked for certificate of comparability, then it is mendatory to obtain that. It doesn't matter either it is present in Anabin database or not.

I have received certificate through email on 15/12/2020 but still i have not received hard copy of the certificate... within how many days do we received hard copy of certificate after receiving soft copy ?
You normally receive in 1 month after you receive your soft copy. But now a days as covid is everywhere, it could take little longer. But the good news is you can take prints of the soft copy and submit to embassy. It will work for sure. 😊

Normally they keep track of for what purpose you are obtaining kmk certificate. If you want visa then select visum, if there is any other purpose then you can choose that.

Yes pdf copy sent by Zab is enough to submit embassy. They will accept that.

You can attest all documents from any lawyer in gulf. No issue at all

Sir, Im having 4 years Engineering degree and my university is listed H+ in Anabin and i want to apply for JSV. For recognition of my degree should I apply on IHK FOSA application form for Recognition of foreign degree or ZAB KMK? Which one should I apply in my case (or) I need to apply on both?

I have one very special case which is preventing me from making a statement of Comparability. I have been working for 2 years as a freelancer for a German Company. Now I want to go there I have my contract as it should be. They rejected my application because my bachelor degree was not accredited at the time of my graduation for two reasons one delay during COVID-19 and another one because there was a new program as per my country laws the university should issue diploma after accreditation has finished. So I got my diploma after accreditation completed after my graduation. I don't know how to override this bureaucracy. I have one Master Degree which fulfills their requirements.
If you have masters degrees that full fils their requirements then you should check in Anabin database about that degree. If your master’s degree exists with H+ status then take out the print and show to the embassy. They will accept it. If your degree and university don’t exist in Anabin with H+ status then apply for ZAB/ statement of comparability. You will get that in 2-3 months and then apply for visa. After getting positive zab embassy can not reject your visa due to degree issue.

Yes you can get the ZAB. But for getting direct work visa you need work contract first.

If you open your university in Anabin database there would be a print out option. Just press take print and then you can save it to pdf also for later usage.

No, there isn't any chance. Firat you apply. They will check your application and degree and category. If all good, then they send you an email to deposit fee. Otherwise you don't submit any fees in case of any issue.

bro HEC se original degree attest krwai thi just ab equivalency k liye photocopy bhejni hai to uska HEC se attest hona zruri hai ya original attested ki photocopy hi kafi hai.

Not mandatory in every case. Just required in some cases. It always vary case to case.

My 3year diploma certificate (India ) not highlighted in Anabin due to that embassy rejected my job visa 😢. Any idea how to reapply it .?
First of all it’s sad to hear that bad news. Now you can appeal against the decision of German embassy. You have 30 days to appeal against visa rejection. Meanwhile apply for ZAB certificate, and tell them that your ZAB/Comparability certificate is in process.

3- Only MBA degree for which you want equivalent should be attested, others may or may not be. No issue. But the photocopies of all should be notarized.

No. The degree which you have selected above or written above, you need to mention the name of that degree below

If embassy or relevant authorities asked for certificate of comparability, then it is mendatory to obtain that. It doesn't matter either it is present in Anabin database or not.

within how many days do we received hard copy of certificate after receiving soft copy ?
You normally receive in 1 month after you receive your soft copy. But now a days as covid is everywhere, it could take little longer. But the good news is you can take prints of the soft copy and submit to embassy. It will work for sure. 😊

Yes for JSV, you need zab.
Does selecting "No" under Thesis/Dissertation affects the result of the statement of comparability?
Normally they keep track of for what purpose you are obtaining kmk certificate. If you want visa then select visum, if there is any other purpose then you can choose that.
