  • 4 EASY WAYS TO MAKE KETO DALGONA COFFEE
Dalgona coffee is an uber popular coffee drink that gained fans in South Korea but has gone viral all over the world. It is a whipped coffee topping that is layered over hot or cold milk. It’s easy to make a keto dalgona coffee. In this video, I share with you how to make four versions of keto whipped coffee. The original keto dalgona coffee, mocha dalgona coffee, salted caramel dalgona and matcha latte dalgona. All of these dalgona coffees are sugar free! I'll explain what is Dalgona coffee and show you how to make it!
Dalgona coffee is made using 4 basic ingredients - instant coffee or espresso, a sweetener, hot water and milk. To make this recipe keto, you can use a keto approved sweetener. I recommend using a powder monkfruit or erythritol sweetener since they dissolve easier than the granulated kind. You can top your keto whipped coffee over nut milk or cream. I like to use macadamia nut milk.
The whipped coffee topping of Dalgona topping is so velvety smooth. It creates the creamiest coffee drink!

I just made this with Lakanto Monkfruit Icing, regular granulated coffee and hot water 3/3/3 tb. Fluffed it up with a handheld cream whipper and it worked great. Put half cream and half cold water in a glass, coffee on top, mixed it in. It was delish!! Thank you... it's my new favourite summer drink.

Hey there! Well we use to call it in Greece, hot Nescafe coffee or Frappe coffe when it is cold! I remember ages ago (i am 42 now ) how passionate we whisk it with a spoon or with a coffee mixer until it gets this great white gold colour and then add hot or cold water and milk... :) I was suprised when i saw it online ... I loved these nice keto twist recipes :)

Same..we used it in the 80's when the instant coffee came out. We already found out that is was soluble in hot and cold substances. I used to make it as a child..one spoon coffee..and a glass of cold milk and a lot of sugar and cacoa powder. And wisked it. I was 8 years then. Too bad there was no YT yet haha.

I throw it in my frother on my Keurig machine & let it do all the work. It's more whipped & creamier, but hey all I have to do is hit "cold & capp" & walk away. I do that four times. To me it's faster & I can make my breakfast while I wait rather than sitting over it with a mixer or mixing it 400+ times by hand.

For some reason, even though I don't really like ice cream, I am always making keto ice cream.i guess mostly for my daughter- simply putting some HWC, powdered swerve and extract in a tiny Mason jar and shaking it like crazy.., You know, the usual simple method. Maybe add extract and extras.
May I ask what is lacking from "the usual" method for you? Again, remember I'm one of those weirdos that does not really care for Ice cream, LoL!!

You can get the consistency of dalgona coffee without any sugar if you don't want sweetness at all. It's the coffee powder that causes the bubbles from instantly popping when you whip it, making a thick foam.
This doesn't have a richness like whip cream more airy but still nice

Oh, and a little tip I came across and have been doing is when you need confectioners sweetener and only have granular, you can put it in your coffee grinder or blender and it will turn into powder form. I was just too lazy to pull out my grinder to try this drink out and figured it would dissolve with the hot water anyways 🙂

I like it, but I don't really like so much milk all at once, or that much in ratio to my coffee flavor. once I mixed some espresso powder into my milk before layering with the dalgona, so the milk was more bitter and coffee flavor. I tried mixing it into regular coffee but it's meh. Anyone else know of any ideas to make less rich but still the same concept?

Kaya Haskin I only have a kitchen aid which is too big unless I was making like 4 or more servings, and an aerolatte. The aerolatte takes forever because it's not very powerful, but at the beginning it is fast enough to splash everywhere, so I have to mix in a narrow glass.

I have bragged and bragged about this recipe. A few who have tried it said it hit their stomach hard and they couldn't drink it. Not sure what would make this feel heavy to them.
Also, I thought peanug butter would be good in this so I added 1 tablespoon of PB2 to the whipped mixture. Well that didn't work at all. It didn't whip. It apparently breaks the magic that allows it to whip. I didn't want to waste the ingredients so I went ahead with it. Still tasted great but didn't whip.
