Upholding international legitimacy requires an immediate ceasefire, an end to Israeli occupation, and the pursuit of political solutions that guarantee the rights of the Palestinian people and the establishment of their independent state.
For now, we must express our solidarity with the Palestinian people and work to raise global awareness of the happenings in Gaza. Providing humanitarian aid and support to the affected and calling for an end to violence are imperative. Rebuilding the devastated areas is crucial to restore life and hope to the Palestinian people...

Look back to 1940 and the US aid to our ally Great Britain through Lend Lease and US troops garrisoning Iceland to release the British troops there where they were needed.
