- High-Power LASER On US Aircraft Carrier SHOCKED The World! FULL Alert!
It’s a conundrum. The US Navy can easily stop the most powerful missiles in their tracks with ease but is gravely threatened by little, slow, stealthless kamikaze drones. While this is almost funny, it comes at a very dangerous time. The Houthis continue to attack the US on the Red Sea, and in response, the US Navy must now do the impossible - the US Navy must add laser weapons to its already formidable aircraft carrier fleet.
God bless America ❤❤❤❤❤I love this video awesome information thanks.
I used to work on production CO2 lasers. 75KV starter voltage that dropped to 35KV once the beam coalesced. We used it to burn precision holes in drip irrigation hoses. That's the basics, but turn that same technology into taking down drone swarms. Fun stuff.
Like swatting Flys 🪰
GOD, protect our countries from any hurt or harm. Guide our ships to where they need to go, in YOUR Seas? GOD Bless all of our Armed Forces and keep them under the Shadow of YOUR ALMIGHTY WINGS. AMEN.
Wowwwwwww!!!!!so be it.....the laser for defense....amazing!!!!
@karlwithak. The Antichrist needs your advice. Go help them😂
Military Maxim: "To win a war is sometimes prohibitively expensive. To lose a war costs everything you have!"
It does? Germany and Japan are now two of the world's leading economies.
Same with going bankrupt, a country loses everything including our freedom. Money is just another form of warfare and every bit as serious. Keep in mind, if America goes bankrupt our navy will be in row boats. Not what I want to see. Money matters! America's debt is the greatest threat to national security and is destroying this country.
Sometimes it is better to invest more then planned, with the item performing as it was
Intended, rather than spend less then you should, with the item not performing as it should. Many times the cost factor includes research and development. The LAWS laser system started it's development in the mid-1980s and was to be used in global satellite systems, what then was classified as "Star Wars Satellite Defense". Not sure it
ever got approved in congress.
The economy's of Japan and Germany would not exist without the protection of the
U.S.A. and NATO Allience. Something you may want to think about!
@@glennlucas8019 I agree. Keep in mind that America has been spending more than we make since Nixon took us off the gold standard. Our debt has become the greatest threat to our national security. If we go bankrupt, China wins.
I checked with my friends and neighbors and no one was shocked, this is just a click bait story
Well, I was a little shocked 🤔. On second thought, I guess I really wasn't
Seen a part of U.S. Navy is awesome. They rule the sea and real air and the ground powerful country USA.
Wow. That's a great one. you guy's thinks ahead of time.
In 1998 I was inspecting a concrete pour for a pad behind 4 security gates, first two civilian, last two military.
This concrete pad was for the first stage of four, for a ground based anti missile laser system. So we had lasers since the last century. Just think how far we have come in 26 years.
Rifles in 15 years I bet.
We use ours not 🚫 show everyone else. 🕊️
Yeah
us has had this stuff for the longest time..... when we tell the world we have hypersonics llol i bet we we have had them for the last 30 years
@@stevep-he8ct usmc
The heavy cruiser USS Big Mike has had lasers for awhile.
lol
AWESOME! ALL OF IT!
It’s SHOCKING!!! Absolutely & utterly SHOCKING!!! It’s SHOCKING than all other SHOCKING things!!! SHOCKING SHOCK it is!!!
That's freaking SHOCKING!
@@hawkdsl INDEED! I was SHOCKED being so SHOCKED about this SHOCKING vid!!!
I've literally never been so super shocked.
You have absolutely no idea how shocked I am by the shocking going on here!
Well Unplug it then !
Solid!

Peace be with you.
30 MW laser coming next year by Raytheon 💪
In the meantime, Now ugh
Carried on the silky-backs of unicorns no doubt....dream-on.
Lockheed Martin has a 500 kW laser but could only down a drone at 2 miles at best on a clear day, but a 30 MW would do some damage to an aircraft, doesn't work very well in fog or through clouds, it is the future though.
@@philipellis4530 Infra-red frequency could help.
But if the fog is thick enough that a lazar won't work, it's thick enough for our vessels not to be seen or found. Fog can work both ways, kind of like what's good for the goose ia also good for the gander!!!
Im glad for the improvement, but we need 10MW to be truly effective.
1.21 gigawatts.
Are you recommending a 100mw?!yeah!
@@johnbrentford5513 That's only for time travel.
@@user-ce2bx4uy1e mW? No. MW? Yes. mW is milliwatt; MW is megawatt. Huge difference.
And ONE for the UK LOL
That really is something amazing and to think it all started with Pirate's & the British Royal Navy 👍👍
And to think more pirates started the banking buisness and a pirate I forgot his name devised binary code
@MichaelWillby
Yes, imagine a pirate at sea...
and they saw this! coming towards them LOL
Lovely comment!Always nice to remember where it all began…Even 1812 was a good battle….!
@nicholasforman1195
It's just a shame the US hasn't got any spare for us LOL The English army is weak and a total mess if you ask me now day's.
They are now under contract to build ION powered Carriers that will not need refueling throughout its entire service.
The carriers don't need refueling. The fuel they take on is for their aircraft etc. as for the dangers from drones, not so much. His only correct point was the cost of ammunition. He even forgot that the USA marines also have carriers.
We're all the time hearing about whatever it is that our Military is trying to develop. But the top secret part of that equation is that it's most likely already been developed and nobody knows about it unless a desprate need has accured, then it's wham bam thank you mam, and those top secret weapons are now in use destroying whatever it was needed to destroy, and it ends up here on youtube being talked about.
Top secret is a hell of an aditive when done right, and our Military leaders are the best in the top secret bussiness, and they have been for many years bc there is nothing better to use in your defense than top secret weapons that only our military Generals and the makers of the top secret weapons that only a limitted few know anything about!!!! Just like when the Black Bird was first built and tested, nobody knew about that air craft for a long time, and it was use for taking photoes over Russia and China for a long time before discovered....
GOD'S BLESSINGS AND PROTECTION VICTORY TO USA AND ALL ALLIES OVER ALL KINDS OF ENEMIES IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME WE PRAY!AMEN AND AMEN!
Usa is usa
Amên..America always bless by our Lord.

Amen
😊
Laser weapons, just like a big searchlight. Wonderful when the weather is clear, but practically useless in rain, fog, or smoke.
Very good virtual animation video
Great keep it up
A German Navel frigate has sailed to the Red Sea in order to uphold International Law relevant to "Freedom of Navigation ".
The German warship will also be in the Red Sea for training purposes.

10MW would create a small explosion on anything it touches. It would create explosive evaporation of any metal it hits. Like a bullet hole without a bullet.
@@karlwithak. 🤣🤣 how old are you lol doesn't work that way lmao but funny comment
@@karlwithak. 10MW is a lot. 10 Mega Watt Laser... It would melt the glass, or damn near sublimate the glass, or cause a phenomena with lasers where the gasses around the object being heated absorb all of the energy instead of the energy being imparted onto said object directly, but this would still cause an explosion.
@@karlwithak. Depends on your mirror, if the laser being used is infrared or far-infrared, a visible spectrum mirror will do little, you'd need a special infrared mirror, which is very expensive.
@@karlwithak. They're also very heavy, to block the long frequency light. Are you liking your own messages Karl?
@karlwithak. I beg to differ sir. Take for instance a FMJ-HOLLOW POINT 45 bullet, it will expand and consequently heat up, and upon impact it will tear open with such force, traveling at the speed of sound, to leave a small hole at impact and exit with a
larger one. The properties of a laser are far more devastating depending on the amount
Thanks. ✌🏻👊🏼
Excellent narration! Both the content and the delivery. Props to the writer and the narrator.
It's AI
@@jayrowe6473 Oh dear. Props to the developers then I guess 😄
And at the Navy's helm, is Admiral Rachel Leavy, a man to be feared - and Joey the potato in chief. The BrrrrrBrrrrBrrr of the feared A10 Warthog to be replaced by the loudest cackle of VP Kamel Toe.
Deplorable and proud of it. Kudos.
Don't say "Kamel Toe" ... as that implies some degree of resemblence to 'female". ... Although, the "cackle"can play havoc to auditory and cranial systems.
*Nice report, but can we please stop it with the misleading titles?*
To write that the power of a laser is 100 KWT can only be done by US-Americans. Everywhere else in the world the (mostly legal) is 100kW.
The best in the world
@@user-xv9wk1qx4m ????? - sometimes the last in the world.
@@karlwithak. Nit verstaan!
@@karlwithak. Yes, the Houthies will try that of course!
Awesome power!
Thanks
Seems like the anti aircraft ammunition of old would work pretty good on drone swarms too.
What if the swarm consists of hundreds of drones?
@@humanyoda
That old stuff puts a cloud of shrapnel in the air, doesn't it? We have new ammo that does it too.
If the enemy uses a drone swarm of potentially thousands of drones that's a lot of ammo.
@@KuptisOriginal
Well yeah, a lot of targets will require a lot of ammo. But hopefully it's not a 1:1 fight. The problem they want to solve is how cheap can they take down the drone swarms. Lasers would be the cheapest, but I don't think they've achieved the power levels in their demonstration where each shot takes a split second vs 10 seconds or more.
Long live USA...God bless USA and Leadership...🎉❤🎉
Why have you shown a British carrier in the thumbnail and with so much stuff on the deck there's no room for aircraft 😂
There are now 13 Carriers in service. One in standby. Two will be retired to standby. The US will ultimately have 13 of these new Ford class Carriers and 3 older Nimitz class Carriers on standby.
Whoever got the Navy to sign onto the VLS system should be KEEL HAULED ! Can you imagine what the reaction would have been if the captain of the USS Missouri would have been if told when he was leaving Pearl Harbor that he was only able to carry 90 some shells for his main batteries ? Today's support ships only have one missle per launch tube ! That's it ! They have to leave the combat zone & sail to a US port to reload ! That's insane !
It needed 90 shells because accuracy was an issue.
The carrier looks more like a British Aircraft Carrier - with the ski jump forward?
GO USA ! GO USA ! GO USA !!! …SEMPER FI..
dont you just love free healthcare?
@@Tax-Evasion-As-A-Sport I don’t know what it has to do with this video but not really unless you’re a veteran who served…Semper Fi
Deck space the “size of two football fields” and it only has Sparrow missiles, CWIS, and 50cal machine guns for protection. That’s just enough to protect against pirates. A carrier needs the planes it carries and all the other ships and subs in the fleet that sail with it to keep it safe.
Million dollar missiles to eliminate thousand dollar drones?Once again, the US Navy has been unprepared for asymmetric warfare. What happened to WW2radar-aimed Bofor shrapnel air burst cannons on the destroyer screen?
Yes improvements on laser tech needs to be made as superpowers or better than average powers will fight using swarms of missiles and swarms of drones therefore the laser must be able do destroy the target at better than half a second of contact in order to be able to stop the quantities involved in a swarm before they reach the target
Narration too over the top dramatic. Content was surprisingly good
Correction, not 180,000 miles a second. Correction > 186,000 MILES PER SECOND IS LIGHT SPEED.
WOW ! Friendly fire will get even worse because laser fire does not stop if you misfire as it’s a light that carries on until it hits something
The USMC just loves AHS like you.. SEE YA AROUND..
EACH CABLE COSTS 700 MILLION DOLLARS AND WHEN IT BREAKS NO MUNNY
The thumbnail picture is not a US Naval carrier. That is a British carrier which has launch ramps. American carriers use catapults.
I lived on a carrier for 3 years.
And,,,where did you "SERVE" Karly? Above your couch or below it ? STFU
the Nimitz class could also go 25 years without refueling...
I'm so proud to be born in The United States of America ❤❤❤😊😊😊
UK Ministry of Defence (Dodos) note all this. US aircraft carriers possess great fire power, whilst your pretty designs for the UK carriers leaves them near defenseless relying on support ships to protect them.

You forgot to mention how we also have the smaller amphebeus assault carriers that maybe smaller but still packs a huge punch if not more than are fast nimetz carriers.
Lazer weapon like Hawaii
Uk dragon fly laser system, get that out there 10pounds cost per shot. So accurate you can choose to shoot front or rear of inbound target
Damn…
thats cool , do lasers work on drone submarines?
😊 the us Navy has the EMP pulse weapon it will melt any electronics
Light diffuses when cloudy or foggy still most wars introduce new weapons

Russia, China, Iran and North Korea appreciate all the details in this video.
wowwwwww amazing human technology❤❤❤❤❤❤😮😮
So powerful I like it
But these mighty carriers have to run away from Houthie rebels?
Yea right or you can call the USS Gerald Ford an "FNB",...aka, ........... Floating Nuclear Bomb.
It’s worse than a nuclear bomb it’s a nuclear power plant, a nuclear bomb contaminates an area for a couple decades where a power plant meltdown is a couple hundred maybe a couple thousand years
Do the impossible? They have been developing laser weapons since the 80's.
What about the Swedish sub?
Columbia class on the way
I heard all our ships have been converted to a fusion reactors which run on seawater! So why can’t the public have these ?
_"Fly me to the moon, let me play among the stars...."_
As long as the Navy commanders are not wearing dresses the carrier maybe a formidable Force.
2.1 M for 1 missile, while people starve here at home. Get those lasers out there.
Anyone know if a drone with a mirror exterior would be vulnerable to these lasers? Serious question.
The U.S. Military seems to have new tricks to stay safe from the enemy. Good Work. Continued grace and safety. In Truth, Light, and Love. In Christ's name, Amen. ❤🤍💙
With that remark you may want to consider "Pearl Harbor".
All the US has to do is re-evaluate its relationship with Israel...I guess developing weapons is easier
RATHEON!
That's why China must think twice.
So we have the most cheeper sofisticated weapon to shield us from any nuclear threats.
Nuclear Power is the source of these powerfull weapons!
How come those carriers are mostly docked for repairs and not on the high seas ?
What can I say. .It reminds me of playing battleship. Just like the game. DONT PUT ALL OUR SHIPS IN ONE PLACE.
