Got mine with a coupon code for 560, definitely worth it. Personally dont trust the holosuns and have seen some issues with the acros but wanted an enclosed sight. Love the thing and its built like a brick
Every optic can have issues. My RCR was replaced under warranty. Serial number was in the 900’s. Acro is a solid optic. Clearer glass, no distortion, and less parallax. Acro is on my duty gun, RCR on off duty.
I’m rockin one on my PDP Pro, best optic on the market by the best company . I know I can trust my life to it . Under $700 , shop around , mine was $650
Have 2 509t's for over 3 yrs, a few classes and love them. I actually prefer the looks of the 509t over Acro and RCR. Would rather get 2 EPS or 320SC for an RCR. I know SRO's break when hit on random areas but ill take that window size as well.
@@awokeone7997 very fair points! The 509t is a great optic, I have one on a G17, never had any issues with mine. I like the look of the acro the best for a closed emitter and it’s still my favorite closed emitter. Sro window size is tough to beat. I’ve been a big fan of the 507comp as well
@ACETACTICAL-RL Arco looks good on certain guns, especially those ones that are square, like a Glock, certain 2011's but the window size doesn't do it for me. I have a 507 comp and that is also a great optic especially for those who do competition shooting.
They are great optics and worth the original price, this price increase is insane though. Wishing I had bought a few more and some HDs when they came out now.
My pistol not locking back would piss me off 😂 I run the ramjet on a g45 with the 509T.. I have a RCR but haven’t decided on which pistol to mount it on. I got mine when they were still 645.. sane with my RMR HD.
@@PnP-td1mt haha that’s the issue with having worn out follower springs. I just make sure to carry mags that aren’t worn out, but for the range they make for good practice. One day I’ll replace the springs 😂
The Meprolight MPO Pro F/S I feel is a much better closed emitter than the RCR. Definitely worth doing a comparison video even if only to show the level of quality, reliability, and durability that can be achieved at the $250-$300 price point opposed to $800+ for an RCR.
@@GreymanEDC thanks for commenting! That’s not even an optic that was on my radar prior to reading to this. I’ll definitely pick one up and test it out!
@@ACETACTICAL-RL would make a great video. Not many out for that optic line and coming from someone who has an RCR and both the F and S models of the MPO Pro, my edc has the MPO Pro S variant on it, have about 1800 rounds through it, has maintained zero and is pretty crisp for someone like me with astigmatism
I’d say that this is a glowing endorsement of the RCR but definitely the opposite for the Arc Reactor top end. Here’s a guy who can clearly shoot extremely well and has his mechanics and fundamentals down and a strong controlled grip, but that muzzle is jumping around like he’s shooting a P365 😂. With a full size g17 AND an X300 hanging off the end. That ported barrel isn’t done well at all. I’ll stick to my PMMs, Radians and custom porting jobs and Ignore the Arc stuff.
@@ACETACTICAL-RL You deserved it man. I don’t typically compliment most people on their videos, but it’s refreshing to not hear “ummm” “uhhhhh” every 3rd word and see someone who is shooting well without range theatrics and without being totally robotic. It hurt to watch you toss around a pistol you clearly love just to test the durability of an optic, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
@ definitely recommend using the stronger return spring (red). A buddy of mine had issues with the lighter one and then was fine when he switched to red. Johnny Glock has a return spring for the Timney that’s even better. I have it in one of my setups
