    Excellent. Needed a palate cleanser after the utter genius content being pumped out of the Wilson combat channel

      Yeah it sucks bc they do make some good stuff. I've got some Wilson combat fiber optic green and black out rear sights on my Beretta 92 a1 and really like it

    If industry can come together and have standardized threading for suppressors - we can hope [they] come together to standardization of a RMR / enclosed emitter clamp mount footprint. More so now that thermal continues to me miniaturized

    I'm new to red dots and have been struggling with acquiring the dot quickly and consistently. I guess it I doesn't help that I'm hand/eye cross-dominant and trying to train my brain to sight through the non-dominant eye. But your tip on keeping focus on the target vs. the dot immediately made a tremendous difference for me. With just that simple thought in mind, the elusive dot is now magically appearing in the optic vs. hiding somewhere off screen. Thank you so much for that tip, it's working great for me!

    Can you talk about red dot placement in relation to iron sights? Pros/cons and your preferences between having the dot in the center of the window versus the dot sitting right on top of the iron sights.

      Second this, also do you have any thoughts on rear irons in front of the optic, or behind?

    Is the dot zeroed to the gun, or zeroed to the shooter? Meaning can person A who can shoot, zero the dot for shooter B, who can’t shoot?
    In terms of issuing guns out. Can I hand a bunch already zeroed guns to people or does the dot need to be zeroed by each individual person?

    • @KineticConsulting
      @KineticConsulting  6 місяців тому +2

      The dot is zeroed to the shooter. You shouldn't zero for someone else. Your perception of the dot/shooting ability/astigmatism is going to be different than another person. Now it can possibly be close, but that isn't always the case.

      @KineticConsulting is this still true if the dot has an absolute cowitness with the irons?

      @@Katana_Gryphon probably. You'll have to test it.
