Cheers to this, and your thought! Couldn’t agree more.
"So many professional musicians are so fucking jaded and blasé about music and performing." so ho re you talking about, or are you just making shit up
@@krusher74 I’m just making shit up. I’m actually a mental patient in an insane asylum, connecting to the internet via my imaginary phone.
I'd say you're describing big artists, most professional musicians are not like that, they are very open minded and down to earth.
@@bobparker2675 A lot of the gigging musicians I know are like that. Struggling with the bullshit and very low financial reward for years and years will do that to a lot of people.
On the other hand, you also see a lot of pros just going through the motions on stage. If you compare them to when they were young, a lot of that energy is gone.
Of course it doesn’t happen to everyone. But it’s also pretty rare to see such a seasoned guy like Danny happy as a kid whenever he’s behind a kit. I think it’s awesome.
The unbridled joy on his face at the end is priceless!
I love the joy on his face!!!
I love this. The kid on the bass in front of him is havin a blast. Danny's the man!
I was gonna say the same thing, you can tell the bass player is having the night of his life having Danny behind him
I know this was from 3 months ago, sorry.
But I just imagine that the bass player was thinking “Okay when do I start playing Schism? Is that next or during the encore?”
I love his reaction to 26 drummer of all time! And proceeds to kill it and make Mitch Mitchell proud LMMFAO! Legend shit!
lol - I had to laugh at that too. I mean, why not just say "One of the greatest drummers of all time".....why do they have to say #26...lol
I met Danny one time, briefly, in Nashville. He was playing drums for PLC who opened for A Perfect Circle. Truly one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.
that smile at the end 😄
What a treat this would be for the audience. He seems to do this kind of thing a lot. What a great guy.
Man it's just so wonderful to get on here and see something that everybody likes from time to time! How could you not like this? Such a wonderful talent. That really warms my heart I needed that.
I think this is the first big band version of Fire I've heard and I loved it.
This guy is so down to earth. He goes and plays anywhere. Doesn't really even care. Love it.
This is good in so many ways
I love watching Danny play. He seems to enjoy it so much; every time I see him, he has a smile on his face. A man truly doing what he loves
Just watched them all a couple of weeks ago. They each are in such a zone it's hard to give each one proper praise. Watching Adam play songs I've been waiting to see, along with Justin's new riffs blowing your mind in person. Glad I got to show this world to someone that didn't expect it. Their life was changed.
@@justindeering4384 that happened when I took my now wife to see them in 06. Loved it, and had to go again in 07. When I used to go see 'em live, I never gave the time to Danny. Or, I was so into everything that was going on, from the floor, it's hard to see him from behind his massive kit...
