the interesting part about this one is that the viewer's attention isn't split across every single moving part at all time. you only look at one side's moving marbles, its weapons, and the other side's defenses. not both sides marbles/weapons/defenses

That has always been something I have had trouble with, I always end up missing some epic thing and then having to rewind to see what just happened. This way fixes that, but I do think both ways are still good.
It is a pity that there is no more bug so that members of the same team can come to the enemy's base.

The old adage remains true: "There is nowhere to be less safe, than comfortably ahead halfway through a Mikan video."
Actually a cool setup in this video. But I think all those dark health blocks in combination with too bright glowing shots and lasers makes it really difficult to read what's really going on. I hope it's not just me.
To think that it was that one white marble at the beginning that determined the winner.

Wow, I love how Mikan started simple, then slowly evolve to a gigantic scripter and a UA-camr, the course was nice! Definitely a like for this one.

It says this one was in Unity and not Algadoo. If you look at some of his past videos, you can see him slowly shifting to using Unity more.

on the 1v1 I always pick red (an the massive marble races my first pick is rainbow, 2nd pick monochrome, neither usually get very far)

I love superweapons. The feeling of watching the bar fill up, wondering what it will do, and then the epic power of the weapon when it is fired.
you know what would be cool? To see a map where it's inherently unequal, because it's two previous maps/attack styles on opposite sides. Like two separate core destruction mechanics going against each other.
That sounds interesting
The Rainbow vs Monochrome Core Destruction did that as of recently.
Maybe one of these setups versus a super tree?

Ok I'm loving this idea. Having the marbles fired from one side switch to the other after use, creating this domino effect, quickly leads to some insane escalation!
I liked the lime marbles “revenge” attack at the end after the lime core went down trying one last ditch attempt at taking red down

This actually gave me an interesting idea, what if instead of "revenge" being the theme, it's "offense/defense". so when it's your turn (aka all the marble is at your side) you can either invest in defense that will reduce damage (but disappear next turn) or attack and try to destroy opponent's core (but makes your vulnerable when it's your turn defending)

One problem is that the powerful weapons (flamethrower in particular) are too easily accessible. Due to the way the slope over the bearing (with six arms) is located, more balls fall into the tunnel that leads to the flamethrower than those that lead to weaker weapons. Might be a misplacement for balancing.

Very interesting format, the turn-based mechanic makes it much easier to follow what's happening. However the the inability to heal during opponents attacks kind of reduces the suspense in my opinion.

When it was the start I thought it was simple like the rest of mikans videos until I saw the effects. ABSOLUTLY GOD TIER EFFECTS. and then one of the targets exploded I thought that was it. This was an absolute spectacle. These were by far the best weapons yet, both from how they acted and from how they looked, and I loved the escalation from a simple flipping randomizer to the array of cannons, lasers, and beams on every side. The only thing that was a little off was that it was a little hard to see how much shield each side had left, since the blocks were different sizes but had the same health, but other than that this was incredible.

What, we playin' Chess now in Core Destruction?! First, we had a decider who goes first and I was like "what's the point of that? I don't see the spinner anymore after that." I only realized that marbles were turning into the opponent's color about halfway through the video, and that there is a queue and a marble counter at the bottom. The title is right - "Escalating Revenge"!
I also saw that green's core was getting destroyed and then checked the video length and said "Hold up, somethin' ain't right." I knew there was a twist!

It’s interesting that no matter what the colors are, I find myself rooting for the team on the left. I wonder if it’s because games typically had your character starting on the left side.

Red has a inherent advantage here because it'll always have more balls to play with as long as it starts second, to counteract this they can't attack first but does that really matter?

Having a system where the first turn is randomly selected is not very smart.
If green won it would have been unfair because he had 1 extra attack than red did.
If red won then its fair and green is a bigger loser for not being able to kill red with the same number of turns even though he went first.
Its always against the player who goes first.

There should be 3rd stage
In 3rd stage there will be:
Shield: blocks attacks
Buff: increases damage of attacks
Flamethrower 2: like the one from first stage but more powerful

Maybe a small detail, but I really like how the change of music is timed with the change of phase, signifying a change of the setup.
You usually don't do this, and the change music comes without anything significant changing :)

I find it interesting you chose to make it escalate in multiple ways, making things much more interesting. Some criticisms, though.
