_Need help comprehending what is going on?_ Now, I don't want to fret you into reading this comment but I suggest you watch the masterpiece MIKAN made before expanding the text of this comment so you can have a chance on discovering how it works yourself. Only if you can't comprehend what is going on then you are allowed to read the rest of this comment. Also imagine the text of those two sentences plus this one written in the Impact font face. Ok, this is what I was able to comprehend ↓ This Core Destruction is a mixture of metagames that MIKAN made over the years. It consists in Multiply or Release, Core Destruction and select the zone. ["Simple" rule] Destroy the opponent by terminating the defenses and depleting the HP bar. [Rainbow] 🌈 Magenta, Purple, Blue (a little purplish blue) and cyan marbles are constantly created then they choose whether to multiply by two or release. Upon touching Release a rectangle with the number or the word MAX (512) will emerge from the colour that touched Release and travel to the multicoloured circle then its effect will be immediately activated (if an effect is active the rectangle/s will hang at the end of the conveyor belt and the one closest to the multicoloured circle will be activated). Magenta = Bombs Purple = Missiles Blue = Deflectors (they do stop monochrome's attacks if touched by monochrome's attacks) Cyan = Rotating sawblade (the bigger the number is, the longer the sawblade goes on, 512 might be enought to oneshot monochrome) [Monochrome] Four cannons continuously create marbles and they would end up in either Deploy or Attack. Deploy = Creates a cannon on a square Different gradations of grey/white/black determine what is shoot (I didn't watch that closely but I saw missiles going off the screen then ending onto the multicoloured circle) Once the HP bar is depleted for the first time, Phase 2 does start for that group (like what happened in Escalating Revenge which is also a Core Destruction except that the second target for the surviving group does not get revealed until their first HP bar depletion) [Monochrome Phase 2] Same as Phase 1 but Repair and Mix are added to the roster of options available for monochrome. Repair = 20 marbles (any shade of grey/white/black) will restore part (or all? I didn't watch closely) of the defenses Mix = This carries over from The Ultimate Mixture and consists of a 4 part MIKAN - like circle that increases the level of either BOMB, GUN, EDGE or JET (they all start from 1) and once one number becomes 2 a timer (indicated by a pink circle that slowly loses its colour) starts. Every increase of the numbers inside that circle will restart the time (but the more times this repeats before the circle is depleted the faster it will drain the pink, it's literally unnoticeable at first but as the combo goes on it goes drain faster and faster) and the counters don't stop at 10 if you thought so (if you're telling by the filling of the sector of the circle, well the sector does eventually begin filling up with another colour once the previous one maxes out). Once the circle is privated of the pink colour it does release a powerful shot with the characteristics shown (the bigger the numbers the more powerful the shot would be) and the numbers are reset to 1 (or else it would be 2easy4monochrome to win). [Rainbow 🌈 Phase 2] 🌈🌈 Of course it would play like Phase 1 but now Green, Yellow, Orange and Red marbles begin appearing for rainbow and if a shooting release ends in 1 it would be thrown away as just before going up it goes down into red and be destroyed. Other than the aforementioned effects the following are now available: Green = Repair (it needs 64 to do but it never happened in the video as it would only reach 38 throughout the video). This is the only one colour that doesn't get releases of 1 thrown away. Yellow = Circular shock rays (if the rectangle has more than 64 the effect does go on for longer as no more than 64 shooters do appear for rainbow at a time, the number on the shooter reflects that) Orange = Flamethrowers (same as yellow regarding numbers bigger than 64) Red = Geometric shapes all connected by lines with a maximum of (I believe) 4096 lanes and maximum of 64 circular units (the number of the rectangle decides how many circular units would be in gigantic swarm of geometric shapes and if it's bigger than 64 the number in the circular units would be bigger than 1) that can bounce off (if the number is not zero) upon touching monochrome (maximum of eight bounces before disintegrating itself) This is what I was able to comprehend. I made this comment because at first I wasn't able to comprehend what was going on but then comprehended something because I'm a MIKAN fan.
love your videos, keep them up! They always make me happy! Even if my color loses! Thank you for spending all this time to create these simulations for us to watch!
Rainbow truly pulled off one of the greatest clutches and did not heal even once (except when Rainbow entered it's Final form). At first, I didn't understand how the red colour's attack worked, but I imagine it is supposed to be a sort of "laser net" which bounces off the walls and destroys everything in its path.
It wasn't much of a clutch there, rainbow's triangle attack was keeping monochrome so entirely blanketed that pretty much only its super could do anything at all.
The second I realized that rainbow got geometrical attack progression I knew it would win, especially since it got that stupid triangle block attack that just negates stupid amounts of damage. Good on monochrome for hanging in there for so long but the deck was stacked against it.
Not only that, but rainbows damage was not dependent on the damage it took while monochrome had to build up its attack capabilities and whenever it took damage it would have to reset and try again.
The first time you have a chance at the top is the second one you get a free pass and you can go on your way back and then go to your car to go back to your house
Was editing in the my @disneyoriginalsins channel, guess now I watch Mikan .. (2k+ likes = Decisive First - 23 Eliminations Video (home-made)) Damn, 1 month! Must be epic. Explainations will be updated. Phase 1: Starting... Since there are two different sides, I would explain once at a time. Rainbow: The core shoots out marbles, they go into multiply or release or die chamber. The die zone shrink over time. The pads on the x2 reduce its size over time. And there's a limit to how much you can release, and it's 512. Bullets: Magenta: bombs Purple: missiles that seeks Blue: annoying obstacles Cyan: spinner spikes, (Note: if there aren't enough space, it will add more spikes, which can deal a lot of damage (in which one-shots monochromes first core)) Monochrome: The marbles are shoot out from a cannon. If it drops on "deploy", a canon shoot said marble into the defence around the core (parts that can be destroyed) and "attack" basically triggers every canon of same color to shoot. Those defences also increase in size the deeper your go into the core, which means that bigger marbles, and mode damage, it makes more sense. Black: seek White: fast marble Gray: sawers Monochrome: bombs Phase 2: Let's stop messing around... After one core of a team lose all hp, it will get angry (smh) and turn into a monster, become its final form. Monochrome: Not only will the the canon is 4 times before, it also adds: Repair: any 20 marbles enter and it will shoot marbles to repair itself. Mixer: (sigh) There are 4 elements: Jet: increased by a black marble, it increases the fly speed of the mixed marble. Bomb: increased by a monochrome marble, this increases the range of the explosion upon its death Gun: increased by a white marble, it increases the number of marbles shot out by the mixed marble. Edge: increased by a grey marble, it increases how much edges it have. Rainbow: The 2nd phase add the following: A filter which filters out all of the releases that are 1 (with 1 exception) 4 new types of marbles: Lime: repair - 64 total releases to repair (never got to see it), this is the one exception. Orange: flame Red: something like a line shot from Core Destruction x Line Battle, but the number of nodes = number of releases and every node is connected to every other node. Yellow: focus damage to the core. After 64 releases, it increases the amount of time it stays on.
The Monochromes: HAHAHA YOU ARE DEFENSELESS, THERES NO CHANCE YOU CAN WIN NOW! SURRENDER NOW OR YOU WILL- Yellow: *_IMMA FIRIN MA LAZAH!!!_* The Ranbows: Yey we win
I had this little plot going around where Rainbow and Monochrome are brothers though monochrome is evil while Rainbow is good, btw every other color had a role and thoughts on Rainbow that affect their "Personality", for example Green doesn't care what Rainbow does as long as he is involved and he manages the color factories, along with red, yellow, and blue, White is the most respectful towards Rainbow and usually oversees the development of technology for every race or core destruction, Magenta loves Rainbow and while her role isn't specified, she still supports Rainbow where she can, And Blue, Blue thinks Rainbow isn't exactly fit for leading the colors but doesn't do anything to degrade him, Blue operated the old ship battles and later on he ran the humanoid factories.
I feel like this one was unfair from the start. Monochrome has no way of interfering with rainbow attacks while rainbow has several ways of interfering with monochrome attacks. The closest monochrome has to interference is shooting damaging projectile with another damaging projectile but that wastes damage that could have been done to the core. Meanwhile rainbow can: do the same as monochrome, shoot down monochrome turrets, shoot damage sponges.
Monochrome also doesn't have to do attacks one at a time, and (absent destruction from rainbow) their build up persists over attack rounds. I actually think the super weapon might have hurt them more than it helped.
@@JindraAG None of that really mattered when rainbow could just keep them so blanketed in triangles that basically only their super could actually do anything.
Also a sad but interesting fact, there wasn't a single video on MIKAN's channel where monochrome would've actually win in a mono VS rainbow battle, apparently it's always a losing color, ever since it first appeared. Not a single duel won. I just want to see mono boi win at last :
might be a dumb queston but is it possible to play this? I think this is so creative and as a gamer myself I love the concept. Please let me know if I can fw this I would love it.
Monochrome: Oh cool a saw attack, we have turrets that stay on though so this will be an easy win. *TEN MINUTES LATER* Monochrome: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
i love the random stuff but always wanted the colors to have more individuality, like a different strategies or at least different marble weights like idk a sum of an RGB colorcode. Didn't expect the teams to be a SC2 TvZ with 0% overlap in game mechanics! Great as always, MIKAN!
Watching Green consistently fail to do any repairs (presumably) hurt... I'd say that both sets of Max Cyans were really what helped Rainbow do so well considering how good Monochrome's repair was.
Watching the Green ability - presumably a repair ability - constantly spit out small numbers and therefore fail to activate one over the course of the match was something that (metaphorically) hurt. Considering that Monochrome's repair ability was so powerful, I would say that the only reason why Rainbow did as well as it ended up doing was thanks to both times its Cyan ability (the saws) activated at maximum strength. Better?
Yeah cyans first max obliterated monochrome's first core easily, and I think the second max was the reason rainbows second core didnt succumb to mono's spinny saw of death
Every time we wait for you to upload a video, it seems like you run out of ideas. Then, we see the video, which is an extraordinary, creative work of art. Great job. This video was very fun to watch.
Huh, I was curious to see how the repair for Rainbow was implemented, considering it was so much harder to get to compared to monochrome constantely repairing.
you should turn this into a game where we (the players) are able to change what type of core it is and what attributes they can start with (for example extra ball spawning , ball spawn limit, ball spawn time e.c.t)
i really like the fact that each side has 2 hearts cores that once the first one gets destroyed it blows up and it forms a new and powerfuller outside with new abilities. i enjoyed it!!!!!
It was more of the opposite as rainbow had much more powerful attacks with no repair compared to monochrome who seemed to rely on weaker more frequent attacks combined with sustain and defence using repair
Man, it's awesome to see core destruction where both sides have different abilities! But can anyone please explain the specifics? Cause my brain cannot proccess what's happening on both sides, mostly monochrome.
ok bear with me this is gonna be a bit of a wall of text. the first paragraph of each section describes what the marbles do before they get used in attacks, the second paragraph is a general look at how attacking works, and everything subsequent is descriptions of what each individual marble does. i've marked the first two as OVERVIEW and the rest as INDIVIDUAL MARBLES. hopefully that makes it a bit more readable. monochrome: OVERVIEW: at the top of the screen, monochrome has 4 of what we'll call "source cannons," which are mounted on a large spinning wheel fire marbles of their respective color into the play area whenever they are facing directly leftward. the play area extends above the screen, so it's possible for marbles to bounce above the source. the play area consists of a large hollow circle with ridged walls rotating around its interior. these walls have gaps in them, allowing marbles to hit bare wall, or more interestingly, enter one of the slots around the edge of the play area. while its first core is intact, it can only Deploy and Attack. Deploy places a cannon of the respective color on the closest available one of monochrome's defense squares, and Attack shoots a laser at the core that fires every currently-placed cannon of the respective color. the closer to the core these cannons are, the bigger and stronger they are. once the first core is destroyed, it gains two more slots, giving it the ability to Repair and Mix, the former being a pretty standard healing option that needs 20 marbles to activate, regardless of color, and the latter being a powerful special attack that gains attributes the more of each color is dumped into it. INDIVIDUAL MARBLES: monochrome cannons are standard shot cannons; each one shoots one exploding projectile at rainbow. [when mixed, it increments the Bomb attribute, which determines how big the explosion of the special will be when it runs out of juice.] white cannons are laser cannons; each one shots one laser projectile. i'm not quite sure what the advantages and disadvantages of the laser vs the bomb are. [when mixed, white marbles increment the Gun attribute, which lines the special with fairly short-range guns that go off continuously as long as it's active, before shooting off one final longer-range shot when it explodes.] gray cannons shoot out spinning blades that are exceptional at piercing defenses, but not quite so good at leaving a path for whatever may come afterward. [when mixed, it increments the Edge attribute, which places blades around the edge of the special, allowing it to more easily run through any defenses in its way (although the special isn't quite as good at slipping through defenses as the default gray shots are, since it bounces similarly to how the missiles do, and is much better at outright destroying defense tiles).] black cannons shoot out missiles, which will continuously propel themselves into anything in their way, dealing a little chip damage every time. [when mixed, it increments the Jet attribute, which allows the special to move more quickly; this, in combination with a high Edge attribute, can be absolutely DEVASTATING.] rainbow: OVERVIEW: both cores have 8 source cannons, these ones firing when facing directly upward. the way the core rotates means that each cannon will get 2 shots off each time the core makes one full rotation. the first core has magenta, purple, blue, and cyan cannons, two of each, while the second core replaces the duplicate cannons with red, orange, yellow, and lime green ones. its play area consists of a funnel with two gears that rotate somewhat sporadically, mixing up the order of the marbles that enter, followed by a long tunnel that enters into an area with a moving triangular bumper at the top that bumps marbles to each side, two platforms that move in a V pattern, a bigger one on the left side and a smaller one on the right, and three slots at the bottom with walls between them, one in the middle that destroys any marbles that fall in (but shrinks over time to the point that by the time rainbow's first core is destroyed it barely even exists anymore), one on the left labeled Release, and one on the right labeled x2. x2 multiplies the current stash of a given color by 2 up to a maximum of 512, which is just labeled as MAX, and Release releases the current stash into a queue to be used in an attack as soon as there's nothing in front of it, resetting the stash back to 1 in the process. attacks are released from nodes that appear from rainbow's core for attacks and disappear once the attack is over. only 32 attack nodes will show up on screen at a time; if the current attack is more than 32, then each attack node becomes more powerful; since this works a little differently depending on the marble, it will be described along with the individual marbles. once rainbow's first core is destroyed, the queue will no longer accept stashes of 1. INDIVIDUAL MARBLES: magenta, like monochrome, is a standard bomb shot. if a magenta attack is more than 32, it will shoot out more projectiles per attack node. purple is a missile attack, just like black's. high-value purple attacks shoot out more projectiles per attack node. blue is the first attack that's unique to rainbow! it shoots out triangles that will sit on monochrome's shield and sponge shots from any cannons that try to shoot through them. high-value blue attacks shoot out more projectiles per attack node. cyan shoots out spinning blades, like gray. high-value cyan attacks give more blades to each projectile. we never see what exactly lime does, but it fills up a bar with 64 slots that likely would have acted as a healing option. yellow fires a continuous laser from each attack node. high-value yellow attacks increase the amount of time the lasers fire for. orange fires a continuous flamethrower from each attack node; this is wider range than yellow's laser, but otherwise works mostly the same way. as with yellow, high-value orange attacks increase the amount of time the flamethrowers fire for. red is the most complicated to explain by far. it shoots out a laser grid, with an emitter in each corner that shoots a laser to every other emitter. (this is probably the entire reason why rainbow stops accepting 1-stashes after its first core gets destroyed, since a 1-attack with red wouldn't make any sense.) each emitter moves in a perfectly straight line until it hits something, which causes it to bounce off in a perfectly straight line in some other direction. it can hit monochrome's defenses twice, disappearing on the second hit, or bounce off the edges of the screen harmlessly, and it can pass through everything else. we never see it happen, but i imagine that a high-value red attack would allow each emitter to bounce more times.

This is very interesting, the two sides are completely different yet it’s still fair, you have combined two completely different concepts and put them together, you made something new from old ideas and it works
You clearly don't know what fair means. There was nothing fair about this

Bossfight: Monochrome Fractal
Phase 2
Good to see you back Mikan, looking forward to this!
Monochrome soldier: sir, we are about to win, the rainbows defense has been weakened significantly.
Monochrome commander: very well.
MIKAN: hey guys, you remember the whole thing about these videos right?
Monochrome commander: Wait... What..?
MIKAN: **sigh**, rainbow, fire the laser.
Monochrome commander: WHAT?!
Yellow: Hehehe.. thanks for the command, MIKAN! *Absolutely OBLITERATES Monochrome's core*
Monochrome: B-but that's not possible
MIKAN: Sorry guys, gotta give the viewers some excitement...
Monochrome had quite the disadvantage, they needed something to place their cannons on, while rainbow could fine any amount they wished no matter how weak their defense had become from monochrome attacks. This was more than likely only balanced out by rainbow's timer for passive regeneration
But monochrome's attacks stayed once they were spawned. Rainbow has to spawn new cannons every time
@@MaidenOfAir The issue was that those cannons could always spawn, so it was able to queue up a bunch of actions and then execute them, where monochrome could have triggers that did nothing because none of that cannon had been deployed
I like the asymettricality of it. Not only with different attacks but also different methods of protecting themselves.
Monochrome can heal itself, meanwhile Rainbow protects itself by throwing a blockade of triangles around Monochrome to prevent it's attacks from getting out.
I think the green marbles are meant to heal but it never made it to 64
@@AtlantisStuart Yeah rainbow didn't make it to unlocking the heal function before monochrome died.
This was glorious. A battle between Tower Defense and Multiply/Release. Amazing spectacle and a wonderful showcase of each.
I was glad to see Rainbow win, particularly by such a narrow margin, but man was it terrifying to see it deploy MAX projectiles.
Absolutely thrilling and i was at the edge of my seat the whole time!!!!
I love how the 512 blades released right when the music got hype
Yeah when cyan got a lot their blades were insanely powerful
Also I think it's timed with the music on purpose
THIS IS THE SINGLE MOST AMAZING VIDEO OF THIS ENTIRE CHANNEL
i can't even begin to describe it
the sheer level of complexity of the basic mechanics
the stunning visuals
the phase transitions
and especially Rainbow being an absolute monster of power. absolutely obliterating the enemy without even healing once

Monochrome being this giant cube structure while rainbow looks more like a flowing, living organism is so cool.

This is by far one of your best videos. It was worth the whole month of waiting. Keep up the great work!
Man, I *love* your core destruction videos! It’s nice to see a rematch between rainbow and monochrome. The second phase of each core was cool as well!
It took me a minute to understand how it worked, but once I did I had a feeling that it would be rainbow, though I admit I was skeptical near the end
Finally! Part 5 of this was always my favorite, and it seems you made this as basically an advanced version of it ❤
This is next level of perfection. ❤
Its too pretty, amazing job you did there!
I love that one of rainbow's attacks is just "woe, triangles be upon ye"
It's more of an attack blocker than an attack itself, but yes
"I shed the triangles of woe upon thee" - Rainbow
This is going to be an epic battle! Looking forward to this MIKAN!

What, i noticed, monochrome bomb was quite imbalanced here. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there were multiple cases where rainbow's projectiles phased out of existence while it was spawning. And simply making *tons* of damage too.
Probably to make things more fair, otherwise rainbow would of been to op

There are two kinds of days: Boring days where you randomly click on videos in search of something fun, and days where Mikan uploads a new video.
This is truly one of the most interesting marble videos of this channel. From blue backround short vidoes, to really tense races, Mikan has made the platform enjoyable. Keep going!
rainbow: i can dispence my marbles whenever i want. monochrome: I'm too lazy to dispence marbles so i built a ball ship

There are so many things I want to say about this, but ultimately they all boil down to one sentence: You are a legend, MIKAN.
Keep up the great work.
These have gone from fun things to pass the time, to actual unique and fun videos that people will go out of their way to watch! Thank you for making these, and keep it up!
Really great design! Hoping to see it soon!
This clutch was monumental.
This is so good, for one Rainbow and monochrome are some of my favorite colors on your channel, number 2 I like how Rainbow and Monochrome don't have the same attacks, number 3 it's cool how when the first layer of Rainbow and Monochrome dies it's cool how they more attacks after that.
Btw people that said "we didn't see what green does", it just repairs the defences.
Edit: it takes 64 green to repair.
Sometimes I think that Monochrome wins but
Rainbow wins.
_Need help comprehending what is going on?_
Now, I don't want to fret you into reading this comment but I suggest you watch the masterpiece MIKAN made before expanding the text of this comment so you can have a chance on discovering how it works yourself.
Only if you can't comprehend what is going on then you are allowed to read the rest of this comment.
Also imagine the text of those two sentences plus this one written in the Impact font face.
Ok, this is what I was able to comprehend ↓
This Core Destruction is a mixture of metagames that MIKAN made over the years.
It consists in Multiply or Release, Core Destruction and select the zone.
["Simple" rule]
Destroy the opponent by terminating the defenses and depleting the HP bar.
[Rainbow] 🌈
Magenta, Purple, Blue (a little purplish blue) and cyan marbles are constantly created then they choose whether to multiply by two or release.
Magenta = Bombs
Purple = Missiles
Blue = Deflectors (they do stop monochrome's attacks if touched by monochrome's attacks)
Cyan = Rotating sawblade (the bigger the number is, the longer the sawblade goes on, 512 might be enought to oneshot monochrome)
[Monochrome]
Four cannons continuously create marbles and they would end up in either Deploy or Attack.
Deploy = Creates a cannon on a square
Different gradations of grey/white/black determine what is shoot (I didn't watch that closely but I saw missiles going off the screen then ending onto the multicoloured circle)
Once the HP bar is depleted for the first time, Phase 2 does start for that group (like what happened in Escalating Revenge which is also a Core Destruction except that the second target for the surviving group does not get revealed until their first HP bar depletion)
[Monochrome Phase 2]
Same as Phase 1 but Repair and Mix are added to the roster of options available for monochrome.
Repair = 20 marbles (any shade of grey/white/black) will restore part (or all? I didn't watch closely) of the defenses
Mix = This carries over from The Ultimate Mixture and consists of a 4 part MIKAN - like circle that increases the level of either BOMB, GUN, EDGE or JET (they all start from 1) and once one number becomes 2 a timer (indicated by a pink circle that slowly loses its colour) starts.
[Rainbow 🌈 Phase 2] 🌈🌈
Of course it would play like Phase 1 but now Green, Yellow, Orange and Red marbles begin appearing for rainbow and if a shooting release ends in 1 it would be thrown away as just before going up it goes down into red and be destroyed.
Other than the aforementioned effects the following are now available:
Green = Repair (it needs 64 to do but it never happened in the video as it would only reach 38 throughout the video). This is the only one colour that doesn't get releases of 1 thrown away.
Yellow = Circular shock rays (if the rectangle has more than 64 the effect does go on for longer as no more than 64 shooters do appear for rainbow at a time, the number on the shooter reflects that)
Orange = Flamethrowers (same as yellow regarding numbers bigger than 64)
Red = Geometric shapes all connected by lines with a maximum of (I believe) 4096 lanes and maximum of 64 circular units (the number of the rectangle decides how many circular units would be in gigantic swarm of geometric shapes and if it's bigger than 64 the number in the circular units would be bigger than 1) that can bounce off (if the number is not zero) upon touching monochrome (maximum of eight bounces before disintegrating itself)
This is what I was able to comprehend.
I made this comment because at first I wasn't able to comprehend what was going on but then comprehended something because I'm a MIKAN fan.

Seeing Rainbow do 0 repairs but do an absolutely awesome comeback at the end was not what I expected.
This one was mesmerizing to a degree I haven't experienced in a while. Fantastic stuff!
@@somdudewillson I like to call the triangles "Doritos of death"
I swear, your creations are becoming fully evolved ecosystems and it's beautiful

(2k+ likes = Decisive First - 23 Eliminations Video (home-made))
Damn, 1 month! Must be epic. Explainations will be updated.
Phase 1: Starting...
Since there are two different sides, I would explain once at a time.
Rainbow:
The core shoots out marbles, they go into multiply or release or die chamber. The die zone shrink over time. The pads on the x2 reduce its size over time. And there's a limit to how much you can release, and it's 512.
Bullets:
Magenta: bombs
Purple: missiles that seeks
Blue: annoying obstacles
Cyan: spinner spikes, (Note: if there aren't enough space, it will add more spikes, which can deal a lot of damage (in which one-shots monochromes first core))
Monochrome:
The marbles are shoot out from a cannon.
Black: seek
White: fast marble
Gray: sawers
Monochrome: bombs
Phase 2: Let's stop messing around...
After one core of a team lose all hp, it will get angry (smh) and turn into a monster, become its final form.
Monochrome:
Not only will the the canon is 4 times before, it also adds:
Repair: any 20 marbles enter and it will shoot marbles to repair itself.
Mixer: (sigh)
There are 4 elements:
Jet: increased by a black marble, it increases the fly speed of the mixed marble.
Bomb: increased by a monochrome marble, this increases the range of the explosion upon its death
Gun: increased by a white marble, it increases the number of marbles shot out by the mixed marble.
Edge: increased by a grey marble, it increases how much edges it have.
Rainbow:
The 2nd phase add the following:
A filter which filters out all of the releases that are 1 (with 1 exception)
4 new types of marbles:
Lime: repair - 64 total releases to repair (never got to see it), this is the one exception.
Orange: flame
Red: something like a line shot from Core Destruction x Line Battle, but the number of nodes = number of releases and every node is connected to every other node.
Yellow: focus damage to the core. After 64 releases, it increases the amount of time it stays on.
This is a colorfull assault on my eyes and I love it
Loved the massive asymmetry in this one.
The Monochromes: HAHAHA YOU ARE DEFENSELESS, THERES NO CHANCE YOU CAN WIN NOW! SURRENDER NOW OR YOU WILL-
Yellow: *_IMMA FIRIN MA LAZAH!!!_*
The Ranbows: Yey we win
Bruh.🙄🙄

@@와와후 i dunno
This one is easily one of my favourites if not the number 1 out of all your releases so far
That's what I was thinking!
Also a sad but interesting fact, there wasn't a single video on MIKAN's channel where monochrome would've actually win in a mono VS rainbow battle, apparently it's always a losing color, ever since it first appeared. Not a single duel won.
I just want to see mono boi win at last :
He did it again after years
MIKAN, you should totally compile these into a unity project and make it a game...

The visual effects of this video are truly insane, and this is also the most complex video ever made by Mikan !!!
Man! Mikan is improving so well! Like can you see the quality? It is amazing and a sight to see. Pretty much, Mikan is underrated.
I felt that monochrome had a slower development... Which is why in most of these races one or the other loses... I can't comment on attack strength
Monochrome: Oh cool a saw attack, we have turrets that stay on though so this will be an easy win.
*TEN MINUTES LATER*
Monochrome: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
This is some high quality marble racing stuff. Keep at it, and I hope you get more subscribers!
i love the random stuff but always wanted the colors to have more individuality, like a different strategies or at least different marble weights like idk a sum of an RGB colorcode.
Didn't expect the teams to be a SC2 TvZ with 0% overlap in game mechanics!
Great as always, MIKAN!
I love your videos, especially this one
Bro i love the core destruction videos. Keep up the good work!
Watching Green consistently fail to do any repairs (presumably) hurt... I'd say that both sets of Max Cyans were really what helped Rainbow do so well considering how good Monochrome's repair was.
godzilla had a stroke reading this and died
Watching the Green ability - presumably a repair ability - constantly spit out small numbers and therefore fail to activate one over the course of the match was something that (metaphorically) hurt.
Considering that Monochrome's repair ability was so powerful, I would say that the only reason why Rainbow did as well as it ended up doing was thanks to both times its Cyan ability (the saws) activated at maximum strength.
Better?
Yeah cyans first max obliterated monochrome's first core easily, and I think the second max was the reason rainbows second core didnt succumb to mono's spinny saw of death
Finally another core destruction, and boy is it fancy this time around

Man, it's awesome to see core destruction where both sides have different abilities!
But can anyone please explain the specifics? Cause my brain cannot proccess what's happening on both sides, mostly monochrome.
ok bear with me this is gonna be a bit of a wall of text. the first paragraph of each section describes what the marbles do before they get used in attacks, the second paragraph is a general look at how attacking works, and everything subsequent is descriptions of what each individual marble does. i've marked the first two as OVERVIEW and the rest as INDIVIDUAL MARBLES. hopefully that makes it a bit more readable.
monochrome:
OVERVIEW:
at the top of the screen, monochrome has 4 of what we'll call "source cannons," which are mounted on a large spinning wheel fire marbles of their respective color into the play area whenever they are facing directly leftward. the play area extends above the screen, so it's possible for marbles to bounce above the source. the play area consists of a large hollow circle with ridged walls rotating around its interior. these walls have gaps in them, allowing marbles to hit bare wall, or more interestingly, enter one of the slots around the edge of the play area.
while its first core is intact, it can only Deploy and Attack.
INDIVIDUAL MARBLES:
monochrome cannons are standard shot cannons; each one shoots one exploding projectile at rainbow. [when mixed, it increments the Bomb attribute, which determines how big the explosion of the special will be when it runs out of juice.]
white cannons are laser cannons; each one shots one laser projectile. i'm not quite sure what the advantages and disadvantages of the laser vs the bomb are. [when mixed, white marbles increment the Gun attribute, which lines the special with fairly short-range guns that go off continuously as long as it's active, before shooting off one final longer-range shot when it explodes.]
gray cannons shoot out spinning blades that are exceptional at piercing defenses, but not quite so good at leaving a path for whatever may come afterward. [when mixed, it increments the Edge attribute, which places blades around the edge of the special, allowing it to more easily run through any defenses in its way (although the special isn't quite as good at slipping through defenses as the default gray shots are, since it bounces similarly to how the missiles do, and is much better at outright destroying defense tiles).]
black cannons shoot out missiles, which will continuously propel themselves into anything in their way, dealing a little chip damage every time. [when mixed, it increments the Jet attribute, which allows the special to move more quickly; this, in combination with a high Edge attribute, can be absolutely DEVASTATING.]
rainbow:
OVERVIEW:
both cores have 8 source cannons, these ones firing when facing directly upward. the way the core rotates means that each cannon will get 2 shots off each time the core makes one full rotation. the first core has magenta, purple, blue, and cyan cannons, two of each, while the second core replaces the duplicate cannons with red, orange, yellow, and lime green ones. its play area consists of a funnel with two gears that rotate somewhat sporadically, mixing up the order of the marbles that enter, followed by a long tunnel that enters into an area with a moving triangular bumper at the top that bumps marbles to each side, two platforms that move in a V pattern, a bigger one on the left side and a smaller one on the right, and three slots at the bottom with walls between them, one in the middle that destroys any marbles that fall in (but shrinks over time to the point that by the time rainbow's first core is destroyed it barely even exists anymore), one on the left labeled Release, and one on the right labeled x2.
x2 multiplies the current stash of a given color by 2 up to a maximum of 512, which is just labeled as MAX, and Release releases the current stash into a queue to be used in an attack as soon as there's nothing in front of it, resetting the stash back to 1 in the process. attacks are released from nodes that appear from rainbow's core for attacks and disappear once the attack is over. only 32 attack nodes will show up on screen at a time; if the current attack is more than 32, then each attack node becomes more powerful; since this works a little differently depending on the marble, it will be described along with the individual marbles. once rainbow's first core is destroyed, the queue will no longer accept stashes of 1.
INDIVIDUAL MARBLES:
magenta, like monochrome, is a standard bomb shot. if a magenta attack is more than 32, it will shoot out more projectiles per attack node.
purple is a missile attack, just like black's. high-value purple attacks shoot out more projectiles per attack node.
blue is the first attack that's unique to rainbow! it shoots out triangles that will sit on monochrome's shield and sponge shots from any cannons that try to shoot through them. high-value blue attacks shoot out more projectiles per attack node.
cyan shoots out spinning blades, like gray. high-value cyan attacks give more blades to each projectile.
we never see what exactly lime does, but it fills up a bar with 64 slots that likely would have acted as a healing option.
yellow fires a continuous laser from each attack node. high-value yellow attacks increase the amount of time the lasers fire for.
orange fires a continuous flamethrower from each attack node; this is wider range than yellow's laser, but otherwise works mostly the same way. as with yellow, high-value orange attacks increase the amount of time the flamethrowers fire for.
red is the most complicated to explain by far. it shoots out a laser grid, with an emitter in each corner that shoots a laser to every other emitter.
