Personally, this is a new series where the timeline is set during the ruling years of the Gray King, Pretox. This timeline is set between Post MK20 all the way up to before Rosemunda and her army invades Castle Gray.
Or these Tournament Winners will become the Kings of the next Kingdom Wars, giving them an… unknown advantage/disadvantage profile. For this Red, this King could have higher offensive power while reducing his defensive strength slightly due to the lack of a Shield.

SPOILERS Aw man, Pink didn't even make it past round 1....The spear and quarterstaff DEFINITELY needs some tweaking. The spear's long range advantage isn't being used effectively, the spear is spinning alongside the marble, while is should just be pointing at the opponent. The quarterstaff also needs to be reworked a little. The damage is just too small to be considered a good option....Also, I feel like the arena wasn't working with the Hammer. Due to the arena being so small, Green was just getting caught on the wall of the arena, not being able to pick up enough momentum to really land a solid hit. In fact, the only reason why Green even made it past Round 1, was because their opponent was using a weapon that was way weaker than it. But honestly, I really liked this concept. It's fun, and has originality to it. I like the prospects of being able to upgrade equipment. I hope we get to see more of this series!
This needs some balancing, like what damage you deal and how fast you are depending on the weapons, but there's definitely potential here. I also have other ideas in mind
It's literally just predstava honestly. The moment his first weapon was those blades, those guys were done for. I mean, Sofjet only won because of his overconfidence and that he lost his other weapon when he reached Level 7. He was unstoppable from Levels 1-6.
I suggest that, just like in Marble Kingdoms, give these marble colors some names so that we can identify who is who. And I especially want the tournament to be expanded from 6 to like 20 marbles so that more fights to be seen. Also, I feel like this Red is just predstava. Just look at his first weapon. We all know he is excellently proficient with those blades.
Definitely appears to be inherently better to have something is each 'hand', which needs to be balanced in the future. But a fun new format, I look forward to seeing how this series develops!
Daaamn Magenta and Purple both taking ages to decide at the start, like "hmmm it needs reach but I also want a blade, ah the spear a perfect weapon" and then they both get wrecked immediately
Part of the problem comes down to the way weapons are wielded (or not, really) which is to simply swing them around. In actual combat, against a guy with two short knives a competent spear wielder wins 9 times out of 10 (the tenth one he tripped on something lol). Reach is such a massive advantage (or should be) and the spear is one of the most commonly used weapons of all time for a reason. Unfortunately in this setting, it's used more like a big sword but most of its length doesn't do any damage, so it just gets boned. If the marbles used their weapons as they are designed, it would have gone much differently, but instead they just swing in circles. (Just to be clear I love this channel and this video, this criticism isn't intended to be hateful)
You can't have healthbars without names! It doesn't even have to be a special name. Lord pinketh or lady bluenstine would help a lot. Also having colors change with healthbars would be helpful. They get darker as they grow closer to death.
Idea: Raiders And Defenders The game starts with red yellow green and blue being randomly selected into teams of 2 When the battle begins each color is funneled into a area which lets them gain troops they pick from 5 troops Hammer Men Swords Men Archers Knights Spearmen There will be a sixth slot called special to pick three other troop types Mage Champion Giant After being choosing marbles appear again to choose more troops every 20 seconds A marble with the same troop as picked goes into another area where it chooses how many troops are spawned from 1 to 4 troops can be spawned After being spawned the marbles choose to be in raids or in defense After picking the marble starts marching to the enemy castle and if in defense stays but if a raiding troop is close enough all defense forces attack and if all raiders are killed then defenders garrison until new raiders arrive but if all defenders are killed then raiders start attacking the castle Each castle has 10000 health and if a castles health reaches 0 the opposing team wins Max amount of troops:25 for each castle Castle include 3 barricades in the front getting stronger as they get closer to the castle Barricade 1 :200 health Barricade 2 :500 health Barricade 3 :1000 health Barricades of an opposing team cant be walked across only the opposing team can walk through the opposing teams barricades Thats it
One potential suggestion to act as more complexity for equipment: Durability. When ever an item clashes with another, it takes damage. Eventually it "breaks" into a much shorter ranged version of itself. If a marble has spare weapons (from previous upgrades) it can swap (perhaps even 'wearing' them on its back aesthetically like archers do with swords on their hips in MK) but otherwise they're forced to keep a broken weapon if it's all they have left. (or maybe switch to an unbreakable emergency knife if you wanna save on assets) This helps limit how often shields and side-arms can be used, which clearly had an advantage over singular weapons. It also introduces the possibility of armor other than helmets later. If everything is eventually breakable except the emergency knife. (or maybe even a mini marble "fist" that causes the marble to take damage when it connects with anything other than the opponent marble directly, like a sword or helmet.)
This reminded me of an old favorite game, called Hammerfight. If you look at that one, you might be inspired for a new mode of this sort of battle. However, I felt that the arena was far too small and limiting. Half the time the contestants are just dragging their weapons against the wall. It should be an open-air battle, like the duels in Hammerfight, and the view can zoom out if the participants get thrown far from each other for whichever reason.
Damn that looks awesome. I am very hyped to see more of this in the future! Also if you want to make a special of this sometime in the future I think it would be cool to choose some of the strongest named marbles of MK or let the community choose with a poll and then call it the "Tournament of Legends" or something like that ^^
I think it'd be cool if variations of stats from Marble Kingdoms were used, like spin speed, health, regen, and the other factors that can change as they level up. Maybe one of the things they select could be these stats after selecting weapons at the start so the first round has a bit more variation.
I like this, now all we need is more, some suggestion for the next ones though. I think the marbles should have a bit more hp or just do a bigger tournament, I wanna see them get powerful gear because it was very short seeing them with multiple good weapons, they could also get abilities like a parry or a dash strike that would spice up the fights since it's basically just blocking and hitting

Absolute love the concept. But man, that balancing of the weapons. All the 2 handers in here had absolut no room to swing arround. Look a the green guy in his second round. No damage at all since all his swings just stuck in the walls.
Honestly really epic. I loved everything - the wide variety of weapons and equipment, the lights and shades of the medieval themed scenarios, the funny physics... well done! :D For future reference, my feedback would be perhaps nerfing the rotation speed of dual wielding marbles (weapon + weapon and weapon + shield). It is quite apparent that rapidly rotating dual wielded marbles are very unlikely to get hit because they repel most attacks. Just my personal thoughts, anyway. Best of luck with your future projects, I love your creativity and the effort you're always putting in
Picking another weapon gives too much advantage compared to any other perk right now. A suggestion I have is keeping the health any marble has after their match instead of letting them fight with full hp again. That way, the extra hp perk will be useful instead of being... well... its current state, really
It's funny, during recording there were several clean sweeps by spears and quarterstaffs, and other times it would be knives that seemed overpowered. So at least for spears I think they are at a point of balance since their winrate was fairly even. Hammers are still a bit underpowered though.
Cool video. Love the focus on different weapons. Their speed, range, and damage are noticeable and cool to see be used. But how come the only upgraded weapons were big sword and polarms? I wanna see big hammer, and 3 daggers for red since he the blade dancer. Another thing, how they used spears in resent kingdoms videos is how they should’ve been used here. As kinda both a sword and shield. And if there’s another video like this, I’d like to see a more square map, and more weapons like crossbows, scythes, and axes.
The spear and other such one handed weapons are extremely bad. The spin doesn’t bounce them off walls making it extremely bad and very vulnerable compared to a sword and shield. Making them almost guaranteed to lose against any other weapon. They spin-> this leaves them vulnerable-> the spun weapon is pressed against a wall not allowing any movement-> the weapon is not there to protect them while enemy has free rain to hit them.
I love this idea and format it is very creative and unique idea to tournament style I would love to see a lot more of this but there is a lot of balancing problems with the weapons and I think that the way you released this also helps you balance the weapons if you don’t have any ideas to Balance them aside from the issues I would love to see more such amazing work you do ❤❤❤
They don't seem able to use the spears very well here... Is there some form of AI deciding how they move? It seems like when they have a spear they should focus on maintaining some distance.

The hammer was broken. It sometimes didn't register the hits. It would've lost anyways, but it still didn't register at least 2 times. At 2:24 and 5:58
I feel bad for the spears, I think if they were always pointing towards the enemy they would have more of a chance. As it is now, there's just not enough of a hitbox on the spear for it to do anything if it's swinging around in circles.
Pink and Purple are my favs and spesr my fav weapon, shame it doesnt do well at all in a mathup like this, evidemced by both being knocked out immediately

stick needs knockback, spear needs better tracking, shields should be slightly bigger.
stick should also be way faster just to not be a worse hammer

This is cool and a great concept but there's a flaw, the stick, spear and the hammer are too weak and can't even beat anyone, they need to be buffed.

I feel bad for the spears, I think if they were always pointing towards the enemy they would have more of a chance. As it is now, there's just not enough of a hitbox on the spear for it to do anything if it's swinging around in circles.
would be really cool if the next tournament winner fights the previous tournament winner (Red here) after that tournament final
I like to think that it is a tournament to decide who is the best warrior to be the next Grey Leader like Pretox

Add armor that completly cancels out the damage by the enemy but breaks after 1 or 2 hits and never restores in a fight, only between rounds
Pink and Purple are my favs and spesr my fav weapon, shame it doesnt do well at all in a mathup like this, evidemced by both being knocked out immediately
