I look forward to your videos so much. When I see you've posted one, I make a lovely tea in my grandmother's teapot, sit down and take a few minutes out of my hectic life to enjoy the beauty and love that exudes from each video. Each visit is unique and different and you're so positive and lovely in each one. I'm currently in the process of renovating my house (converted from the first church in my town, built in 1865.) I've always loved mixing patterns and colors and this shows me that I can kick the "rules" out the door. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

I was a busy bee hive of thoughts and words as I viewed this video! I wanted to express my thoughts of pure joy I felt as Mr. Voorjans explained his collections and style. Tons of verbiage couldn't describe all of this video's content. I was amazed listening to how he put his home together. He uses his knowledge and experience while combining his love for the old art and the new masterfully. For example the stunning chandelier is absolutely crazy where it hangs but it works beautifully. Love the local artist's work and the artwork from abroad lovingly placed together is awe inspiring. I am amazed how the use of the color purple in his art, furniture, patterns, and decor pieces go so well with all the oranges, reds greens and blues fitting perfectly together! To do so at his command is brilliant, and it shows. The playful way he describes how the fabrics are supposed to be for curtains but ended up decorating a home warmed my heart. I so loved touring this home because of the design magic he is capable of.. Who would think to put the bathtub, on a wall, in a bedroom next to the bed!! I want mine next to my bed!! And the exquisite hung artwork and textured tile for the ceilings? Design rules he purposely has broken and it works gorgeously. To me this video is a design kaleidoscope to be viewed for hours! Thank you Susanna and Stacey for taking us into a wonderful designer's world of magic!

I almost felt like I had to catch my breath after having gone for a run after this clip, I got so overexcited. As a fabric lover and a total hoarder of the matter, this video really taught me so much. Because in contrast I have no idea how to pair things and I just have my fabric in my most beautiful cabinet to look at. I open the door almost every day to admire my jewelry as I say.

What a gem!
What a fun place! A great mix of objects and fabrics and surfaces. I liked seeing those old and, I imagine, original floorboards along with everything on and around above them.---I love ocean liners and have shelves of books about them. I'm going to have to look through the illustrations and see if I can find out what ocean liner the dining room chandelier came from.----As Gert signed the card I noticed to the left a picture that I'm sure is of Edith Sitwell the English poet.---What a great observation, Susanna: the stacks of books become "...their own pieces of furniture in a wonderful way", not just what the shelves can't hold but works of art that become part of the beauty and enjoyment of the room. I'm going to start feeling better about the books I don't have shelf space for in my own place!

Ohhh I treasure our Jim Thompson silks! I have a luxurious thick silk chenille and we had to travel far down Sukhumvit Road to the outlet store in Bangkok to find it. It's not just a textile. It represents wonderful travel memories.

One of my favorite channels visited my home town!! I can hardly believe it! I used to work not five minutes away from this place for years. As a viewer you (sort of) get used to the fact that this channel introduces you to all those wonderful, special places around the world. You never expect them to show up nearby....
