One of my favorite scenes was between Claire and klaus when klaus was stealing the tv and Claire was trying to get him to feel better. One of the best duos in season 4 if this wasn’t the last season I would’ve loved to see this relationship between uncle and niece expanded upon. That scene was amazing.
I think it was bad acting or bad script cause it wasn’t convincing especially Claire I didn’t get much emotions. I think Zendaya is the only one so far that impressed me with Rue in Euphoria
Don't know if you realize this or someone else has already pointed it out, but Five's first words to Klaus being "How long you been sober?" actually makes sense. Sure, Klaus is being messy too by indulging in Lila's family's questions, but the moment they ask about the "scumbag" and the "worst of them" and he says it's him... he's feeling low about himself in that moment. He's thinking about how he used to be, how he really was a scumbag, etc. It's a loaded moment packed into 1 second of screentime. It's easy to miss. But Five was behind Klaus, and he heard the end bit of that conversation, where Lila's Fam went back to talking amongst themselves, and so he's asking "How long you been sober?" to indirectly remind Klaus that he's doing better. Klaus realizes this, and that's why his smile is small but proud; and this is why he thanks Five, too. It's not about Five asking him about his sobriety and congratulating him - it's gratitude towards Five appreciating the progress Klaus has made.
Thankyou! I wasn't super happy with many things in this show. But there were some great, well thought out moments that make perfect sense if you were paying attention/ have common sense. But since there are legitimate plot holes some people think it makes it valid for them to half watch something above their emotional intelligence and then complain they don't understand every little thing.
@afghdkfekjk1509 i think it's how the saying goes - people notice bad stuff more than the good stuff. Ngl, i'm one of the people who hated s4, and yes it's because of plot holes and character inconsistencies. They did have some good moments, but ultimately it was overshadowed by whatever the hell they tried to pull towards the end 😭 Just my opinion though. If only they had more episodes to flesh everything out, I think the ending would have made sense; instead we got this "let's quickly move the plot along by any means" thing. TUA had been very character-focused initially, so this was a sudden change of pace imo.
The way this almost made it worse because they somehow cut the scenes that actually had character development and left trash in that literally added nothing. And even with these, that season would have been bad but someone must have spiked the people in charge of picking what got cut with hard drugs for them to think they should cut out scenes like Klaus in AA but keep him getting sex trafficked and licked by a ghost dog that then proceeds to do nothing useful.
I literally just wept at the Klaus meeting scene, it encapsulated his journey and gives it meaning. I am even more frustrated now that I know they had beautiful scenes already filmed and edited. I will never understand the decisions made for Season 4.
@@LarissaFay It's truly baffling. I just do not understand what kind of madness struck everyone involved with the writing and cutting down of this season.
the beniffer and vik scene is really neat and its a huge shame they cut it. its clear that they dont realize how monsterous they became at the end of the season so seeing how they perceive themselves and that delution being broken with the mirror would have actually been a great twist (if they dont tease the mutation beforehand)
if they cut baby shark in its entirety and the useless seven years in the subway plot they would've had all the time of the world to include all of this...
It is obvious the Diego and Luther scene... and the Klaus, Claire and Allison scene should have been priority footage in the editing process. I am so frigging p*ssed with Netflix. It doesn't take much to have a full 10 episode final season when you have the means to do so, but CHOOSE to not service the show and the fans. After already investing to create 3 seasons, what is 4 "extra" episodes (which would be a full season)? Nothing! Aaaahhhhhhghghggrgahh! The characters deserved a better send off. 😭
Idk if you heard about this but apparently season 4 was gonna be 10 episodes long but then Netflix decided to change it last minute to 6 episodes and that turned everything into a mess.
1:55 no people have addressed five asking that question to Klaus!! in the first season theres a scene with them where Klaus stays sober for like 1+ day after Vietnam to talk to Dave and five asks him how long he's been sober. Klaus bitterly says "like a day but it feels like years" or something like that 😭 I don't really remember but yeah that's the point. Klaus was barely able to stay sober at the start of the season and was in a horrible state, but to see him grow and stay sober and do pretty good for himself is supposed to be a callback to his character development. though I understand the reaction to five's response lol.. maybe that's why they cut the scene. but it would've been so important.
I did like having Claire in the final season but prior to it I firmly believed we'd see Claire, and Ray, start glitching out early on in season 4. Due to the reality being unstable since it was a made up construct. And when we got the episode title "The unbearable tragedy of getting what you want." it pushed my belief in this theory further because it straight up sounds like it's referencing Allison and her paradoxical family (Ray, Claire). I thought we'd get a bit of horror thrown in by it. But we got NONE OF THAT. Well aside from slight glitches in form of the "Artifacts" with Gene and Jean. Basically I think my imagined season 4 prior to any footage was more insane than what we got. I expected the family to be going ALL OUT with their powers, in ways we'd never seen. It was like instead of a balloon being popped, someone just untied the knot and let it slowly deflate.
I think in the second scene with Bennifer and Victor when they are looking at the mirror they see not a stunt double but a young Ben and young Jennifer. But I may be wrong 🤷🏻♀️
They can easily recon the whole five relationship issue …if they just re-write a couple of scenes by making you think that they’re in a relationship ..only to find out that …it’s a different five from a different timeline where Diego and Lila never get together ….and the conflict can be Diego not realising that that’s not his wife That’s an alternate version of Lila who doesn’t even know him well and five is surprised because in his timeline Diego is dead. So when he’s trying to kill the real five, they’re innocent ..He saw some alternate timeline versions together… so when five leaves during the battle He’s doing it because ..he doesn’t understand why he’s brother wants to kill him,You can even make it so he didn’t have the conversation in the car ,so he thinks it’s about that the whole book club lie and having a meet in the cafe with Lila …until he goes to the diner and then realises because there’s another five there and they have a conversation …and it gives Diego enough time to figure out the Lila doesn’t have something that the one he saw does (Scar, missing finger, tattoo ,that bracelet) identifying she’s not the same…. Soo there somewhat fixed.. the next thing is right at the end just have them being born at the right time….As in they don’t completely get erased from history ,Just have the marigold in the first timeline Be the reason they’re born at the wrong time, their mum would’ve gotten pregnant with them naturally… it just happened earlier or later because of miracle marigold shenanigans…. it’s bittersweet because they don’t remember each other but they’re alive and reasonably happy …then it makes sense that the kids exist because their parents do as well.
THANK YOU!! Listening to this is like therapy I was more upset and stage seven paradox psychosis mad because these scenes were cut out! And fullu agreed switch out the horrendous Five and Lila story for all of THIS. It wouldn't have saved the aeason entirely but ut would have been a heck of a lot better. I hope this comes back and bites Netflix in the backside 😡

He has a huge hero complex. Even after. When they’re fighting a life or death battle. Diego thinks it’s the perfect time to start fighting with Five. 😂
Frankly, I enjoyed the series very much in Season 1 and Season 2, but unfortunately it is Season 2. They made Season 3 and 4 the worst seasons. If anyone watches it, I advise them to stop there. Season 2, but I want to ask you that those who wrote seasons 1 and 2 are the same ones who wrote seasons 3 and 4.
As far as I like to think, it ended on S3, with the open/ambiguous ending of them being in the reset world, powerless, and them all going to live their own lives.
In scene 2, I'm pretty sure Bennifer had already turned into the Cleanse, but they and the audience couldn't see that for themselves yet. I suggest this, cuz when Viktor shows up, he looks around like 'wtf'. Also, I'm pretty sure the 2 people in the mirror are young Bennifer.
Aside from the Five stuff I really loved Lila in this. But I wish we'd spent a bit of time on how she has her family in this timeline, surely that should be a big deal
Stop wanting character development you fools. The fact that you still want that after 4 seasons means you don't get the theme of the show. So many fake fans brainwashed by Disney/Marvel movies. Not every ending needs to spoon feed you every bit of info and be happy. Try using your brains to fill in the gaps. That's what makes these shows fun and different from the Avengers.
Netflix actually completely re-edited their first version of season 4 of arrested development, released it and put the original cut in extras. Changing it from fewer 30+ minute episodes into more 22 minute episodes and rearranging the whole structure of the scenes and plot from the season to make it more like original 3 seasons. And someone at Netflix cared about this show enough to keep it going for 4 seasons so even though they probably won’t, it’s not out of the realm of possibility for an alternate cut of Umbrella s4
