Don't worry, in my opinion, Diego's character gets better. That doesn't necessarily mean he changes a whole lot, but you understand why he is the way he is.

I always thought of Diego’s power as being kind of like magneto and the way he where he can change as long as it’s metal because if you notice, it’s always metal that he’s that he is able to change in curve and move in different ways
@@tasiaa2711 no, its anything that he's able to control its trajectory, we just see it mostly demonstrated with knives and other objects on screen, but it doesn't have to be metal

@@kevisback2463 eh, she can change/warp reality with her powers, not just "command" people with her powers. She made those soldiers head explode with just a rumor s2, her powers are beyond "command", and she herself referred to her use as "making wishes".

it’s definitely hard to surpass stranger things, cause (in my personal opinion) that’s netflix’s best work yet, but i assure you won’t be disappointed, TUA is funny, has a great plot and has an amazing way of keeping you entertained

I am so fucking hyped.
This show is less about the powers (even though it relies heavily on that) and more about the dysfunctionality of the Hargreeves family and if they could get their shit together enough to be able to work together for a damn second.

Just to make it clear,
Luther's power is pretty much super strength.
Diego does have powers and its trajectory manipulation, basically he can change or stop the course of a moving object but he just mainly uses knives.
Allison can get anyone to do or believe whatever she says to them when she wants to.
Klaus communicates with the dead and more on that you will get to see later on.
Five can teleport across space AND time. Also is a super genius.
Ben can pretty much summon tentacles from his torso and can be vicious in fights as we shown.
And Vanya, well she is the ordinary one.
Great reaction as always and I can totally see Klaus and Five continuing to being Davion's and Nathan's favourites :)
Oh yes. I love TUA!! When it all starts to unfold and you learn more about each character, everything makes so much more sense. And you learn more about all of their powers as the show goes on. As do they
everyone in the family has their own reasons to feel how they feel about their father, you’ll see in future episodes. just to clear up each one’s powers:
- number 1: super strength and durability
- number 2: controlling the direction of the objects he throws (usually knives)
- number 3: can make anyone make whatever she “rumors” them (reality manipulation)
- number 4: can talk the dead
- number 5: space and time manipulation (he jumps through space and time)
- number 6: could summon monsters from another dimension through his belly
- number 7: yeah number 7 is just there
just a note: elliot page uses he/they pronouns irl! it's fine to use whatever pronouns the show uses for his character, but pls use those when talking abt him outside of it :]
i can say with absolute certainty that i started off hating diego, and now he's my favourite sibling, tied w five. i love them both so so much. klaus is pretty great too!
this show is such comfort media for me - i've rewatched it more times than i can count, and own/have read all the comics, too. imo it's one of the most interesting superhero stories around

Five and klaus are my absolute favorites especially five! Before the umbrella academy Aidan Gallagher was in a kids show called Nicky Ricky and Dawn and I was absolutely in love with his nerdy/ funny character from that show. so seeing him in this show a vicious 15 y/o with the power of time and space travel and with the conscious of a 58y/o was pretty wicked.

each season really does get better than the last and the characters all get significantly more likeable! this show is a lot of fun
I think each season actually gets worse season 1 will always be the best although season 2 is also really great. They lost me at season 3 can’t lie I was really disappointed and didn’t end up finishing it. I think it’s because it’s essentially the same plot each season.

Season 2 of the Umbrella Academy is my favourite season of a show ever. Stranger Things is my top show but damn season 2 of TUA gives it a run for its money.

Luther #1 is the “Leader” “Space Boy” his original power is strength, but you will find out more about his story later, #2 Diego “the Kracken” never misses with his knives, #3 Alison “ the Rumor” can “rumor” anyone to do or believe anything she says, #4 Klaus “the Seance” can communicate with the dead he is literally a walking talking Ouji Board : he even has hello goodbye on the palms of each of his hands, #5 can teleport and has a genius intellect, #6 Ben “the Horror” can open a portal in his chest and summon eldrich creatures/monsters, #7 Vanya is the extra ordinary one her name in the comics is “the White Violin, she never got to train or go on missions with her family because of the lack of powers

@@mysterygaming3218 since this is only the first episode and no spoilers for the rest of the season, I just left it as the powers that they show in the first episode.
Spoilers :
5 can not time travel without doing the proper math equations, and even then he can’t do it very well, he needs a specific item him to aid his time travel.
Diego can also breath under water and only throw his knives with perfect accuracy in the comics, but in the show he does have the ability to curve or even stop the trajectory of anything he throws but he hasn’t discovered that yet in this episode.

Hi guys! Davian hit on a question I haven't thought of about Allison: With her power of suggestion, how did she lose in court?????? She could have won, easily with her power. I've watched every season, and that never hit me! And plenty of fans missed that thought too..but...plenty of fans still wonder about her husband and daughter. Glad you guys decided to watch this show! Great catch, Davian!!!! Oh, and the actors for 5 and Klaus kill it every season. You'll see....

And not to spoil, but we _dont_ see her use her powers except for flashbacks.
I figured since the umbrella academy was public figures, and people knew about her powers they just had the hearing without her, and then created such a paper trail that she couldn’t just undo it, (much like she couldn’t say, ‘I hear a rumour the apocalypse never happens.’ Her ability is powerful but it can’t fix everything.

Both "Heroes" and "Back to the Future" are great! Last season of "Heroes" was kind of weak but still a good superhero show with cool powers. Five is my favorite. His attitude and his powers are sick!
