Hey, so I've always wondered what "health professionals" think of Sake, from what I know of it, they polish the rice removing most of the fats and stuff to purify it in some form in order to create the liquid. So, does it still act like other liqours, does it break down into glucose like others or what? Am I getting this all wrong, some right, anything right or wrong?

@@nancycy9039 I'm assuming you're typing to me, but you forgot to hit reply on my comment. So, if that's the case, then why is the creation of Sake described as removing the fat from the outer shell by Sake creators?

Thank You @tejos4xyz for taking the time to summarize. I know you are trying to be helpful and I appreciate that, but please consider the following.
Anybody can take a few seconds to do a Google search and find hundreds of lists on the topic, but why should they trust any particular one of them? Why should you trust mine? Knowledge is powerful, but random bits of data is not knowledge. The list itself without context is worthless. Understanding WHY the items are on the list is empowering.
People today are busier than ever, and we love to take shortcuts, but health is not a topic where we want to take shortcuts. We only have one body so we need to understand a little bit about how it works and how our lifestyle is affecting our health. Our food and our environment has changed more in the last 50 years than in the last 50,000. That is why we need to understand how that impacts our health, and that takes just a little bit more than an itemized list.
You only get as much out of something as you invest in it. When you immerse yourself in something, you grow. When you are fully present and focused while watching, when you process the information, when you analyze, contemplate and incorporate it, you become more. That is empowerment.
When you skim, speed watch and look for bullet points, you may catch some tidbits and some sound bites here and there, but your understanding doesn't fundamentally change. You're still the same person. In a hurry, with a shallow understanding, trying to get to the next thing.
I urge you to read some of the comments that speak about how the content on this channel has changed their lives. How medical doctors comment on my videos and say they learned more about health in 20-30 minutes than they did in all the years of medical school.
When you take the time and give it the focus it deserves, your life can be transformed. You're worth it.

@@drekberg I both agree with you and disagree. An over-all knowledge is crucial yes. But...
I find the time stamps very helpful and wished that you would have written the down in the description below your video... So I checked the comments section in hope for finding time stamps and found it in this thread❣️🙏 Very greatful for that. Because I'm not ready for all of the video and the whole thing yet as I'm burned out... I figure that I can skip through your video to see what I already know, and what's new information to me. Right now I focus on getting some bits and pieces as inspiration to later on learn more in detail. So time stamps are very useful at this stage for me.
.. But I understand that you want views in full length as UA-cam algorithms are set on the the amount of time one watches each of your videos, so I understand you! /Hälsningar från Göteborg, Sverige 🇸🇪 Och God Jul ❤🎅🏻❄️✨🎄👼🍎🍄☃️🌟 ..Men trevlig första advent först. Your presentation was of immense benefit to me. I have been aware, for some time, that I engage in "imaginary conversations," e.g., deciding what I will say if certain stressful situations (which usually don't materialize😖) happen, but only now am I able to see that this has been a considerable (yet unrecognized) form of stress for me!😭 You are a brilliant "teacher," and interestingly, I don't know a single Buddhist monk who would disagree with your amazing summary of stress. The Dalai Lama said, "When science and Buddhism disagree, it is Buddhism that must change." You are proof of the fact that truth is truth. You are a gem! THANK you!🙏🌹❤

I don't think the brain knows the difference from being chased by a tiger to stressing out over where your child is to coping with your boss being upset that your project is overdue. Life is stressful, give or take, no matter where you live or what your situation is. While there are moments, like doing meditation, that can help, overcoming what sounds like instinct, while keeping it intact when needed, seems like a full time job.
    Thank you for the class.

I worked with a malevolent narcissist/sociopath for almost 2 years before I finally quit. She was supposed to retire so I was waiting for that but it was obvious at one point she wasn’t going anywhere. I had inflammation in one arm where I couldn’t lift my arm, I would get home from work and think,
I just need to sit down for a minute and I’d fall asleep in the recliner and wake up 12 hours later at 5:30 AM. Still had my coat on. I had lots of indigestion, of course depression, lost my concentration where I had to have months of therapy before I got that back. The worst thing is she wasn’t my first rodeo or second or third.
Change of diet and exercise only works so far when you’re being attacked 40 hours a week with the gaslighting and the rumor spreading lies.
I believe I’m living on borrowed time.

Don’t listen to people who tell you there are ways to handle narcissists, to ease your stress. Getting away from them is the only solution. You can be bound and determined to “handle” them and in a short time they get inside of you and you are on a downward spiral. You did the right thing to take yourself away from it. The next step is therapy (which you’re doing!) to figure out why you don’t run from them to begin with.I too had many of them as bosses. I grew up with them so it was easy for me to get sucked in. Take good care of yourself. You deserve it. You can do it.

I just got the worst case of shingles the doctor has ever seen! I had the old shingles shot years ago and he said that was only 50% useful, new ones are better. He also said shingles could be brought on by stress... who doesn't have stress nowadays! This video is perfect timing for me! Thank you, Dr Ekberg

About 20 minutes. Super interesting about the sweating. Over the years I have had a few students who had hand sweating and it would happen during testing.
This is such an important presentation (video). Thank you Dr. Ekberg.

You haven't talked about irritation. When I used to stressed I was so irritated by everything en everybody... Now when the stress source is gone ( part time study) I am so happy :) BTW it took me months to get to normal, I am telling you I wasn't a pleasant person....

Thank you Dr Ekberg. I am up early, unable to sleep with muscle tension, joint pain, and mental turmoil. Now I'm planning my busy day. Will I work in a couple of hours for exercise and sauna (my favorite meditation place in winter months)? Yes. I will thanks to your reminders here as to how important de-stressing is. Your videos are very much appreciated.

i use a 'jeanie rub' massager to stimulate the vagus nerve. i start at the chest, then go clockwise, moving to the left arm and leg, across the pelvis, then the right leg and arm, finishing at the chest. sometimes, i also move from the chest to the right side of the head, the occipital area, then the left side and back to the chest. if you have long hair, cover it to keep it out of the massager. i do this before going to sleep and also if i wake up in the middle of the night, as well as when i wake in the morning. hope this helps someone.

Hi Dr.E, I went and looked at that headset and want to know who the heck can afford that thing? Surely not me and probably not anyone else on a fixed income. Hopefully, I learn enough from you to be able to control this situation of the FF syndrome I’ve been following you for a long time but then I stopped seeing your videos on UA-cam and only this morning found out why! Thanks for this great info today.

When I had to give a speech in front of an auditorium filled with people, including the owners and board of the company I worked for, the most memorable nervous symptom I had was my knees knocking together. My family in the audience and my coworkers around me didn't notice, but they were knocking together so hard my legs were sore for days afterwards.
