    Brisket is hard to make on this thing no smoke ring just a little pink coloration. Pellets seem to work better and burn longer than the chips. It gets to hot for low and slow tender meat. But gets a bunch of points for versatility and steaks are amazing on this thing.

    Several inaccuracies in this video - no way you'll spend 3 hrs "watching a fryer" and it's really not that hard. Fryer = 3.5 min/lb. for turkey and Big Easy is 10+ min/lb. I've used both and the Big Easy is good, but nothing beats a turkey injected with marinade and fried. And don't think sprinkling seasoning on the outside of the turkey skin is going to make its way inside. Other useful info - the peanut oil for frying can be used for multiple turkeys but the propane will obviously be used up every time you cook. The Big Easy takes lots of time and propane for turkeys.
