Solar Ash Review - The Final Verdict

- Solar Ash is an oddity, no less so than Hyper Light Drifter; it harbors a unique soul that's unlike anything currently available while still remaining approachable and enjoyable. It's not a long journey and while the whole isn't overwhelmingly better than the sum of its parts, there's enough to its story, lore and gameplay to warrant gazing into the abyss.

I'm about 3 hours in and having a blast so far
This was my most anticipated indie game of the year
Definitely one of my favorite games of the year (granted there wasn't much competition)
Does anyone know of tbere is a physical release or digital only?

It already is on PC, it's just an epic games store exclusive (and from what I understand, it's not the timed exclusive. It's just epic exclusive)
@@evanchauvey5417 Nope, it's timed. It's already been confirmed in one of the Heart Machine livestreams to be going on Steam down the line, but not when. Expect at the very least one year.
Gonna check the PC version first. I doubt the PS5 version will feature 60 FPS at day 1, thanks for mentioning the performance (the other reviews of the game don't).
There's no way this isn't 60 on ps5. This isn't demanding and almost every game has a 60 fps mode.
this game seems simmilar to the game "The Pathless"
I was super excited about this game but this review made me think i shouldn't get it. I don't know if it's the narrator or whst but the whole tone felt meh or negative. Even compliments felt meh.

I can't stand colors in this game. What a strange choice of palette. Colors just don't fit well in my opinion.
They’re amazing imo. Plus I’m tired of all games looking the same and having the same colors. These color palettes are the best we’ve seen in games in about 10 years imho.
