I'm betting their Velkin is equivalent to our Kelvin, besides it being a blatant anagram, I looked it up and it makes sense, 310 Kelvin is 98.33F/36.85C, so just a smidge below human body temperature
had my eyes on this game for a while once I saw it as an upcoming game I knew it'd be cool, having the momentum aspect could make for some interesting platforming sections.
It is "advertised", from video game sites, as a mixture of Jet Set Radio and Journey. I don't see this as a JSR like game. The character uses skating as fast transport, that's all.

Hyper Light Drifter is one of the best Rogue-like beat em' up style games ive every played. I had my hopes pretty high for a similar 3D version. This is not that, but still looks...ok
I love HLD but if there's anything that this is not it would be rogue-like. There's no procecural generation, no randomness, no different outcome if you replay it.
For some people, rogues are the only point of reference they have for action games, especially if they aren't into things like metroidvanias, regular platformers, or souls-likes. HLD does have similar combat to a lot of rogue games

Yeah, she rides that line of sounding young but capable. Like she's well trained but this is her first real mission. Probably a difficult nuance to pull off on purpose, but that's the vibe I'm getting. Lots of other games don't do it so well

Honestly enjoying what I played so far of this. Very different from Hyper light drifter but its cool in its own way
I absolutely love every detail of it, especially the music, so reminescent of HLD - that has to be Disasterprace.
