In this situation operating in rough water/inlet the key is to use the bigger yachts to your advantage and follow them from a safe distance in their wake. It provides a much smoother ride.
It Blows Me Away, People w/ Money and "NO BRAINS" "MASSIVE EGOS", That Are Reckless/Clueless To The Workings Of A Machine/Vessel This Large, and What Seems To Be a Complete Lack Of Operational Knowledge, and ZERO Experience.......
First one was the best. You see that boat coming in then suddenly that MANGUSTA pulls in and makes a hard left with zero fear like an orca whale going after it's prey.
Another nice 10 min. Miami vacation !..........Thank you very much........Godspeed.......
Enjoy! Thanks!
I really like that blue Sunseeker that just cruises in so smoothly! Really enjoyed watching this!
Thanks a lot! I appreciate you taking the time to comment!
@@MiamiBoats it's a great channel. I watch it when I miss the many boats all tiny I have owned over fifty years lol
I think it is Azimut
She needs a hull cleaning tho
@Daver G Blue Azimuth 4.53
I love how those yachts don't give a damn about that famous waves in Haulover inlet :)
sometimes it get bad but 90% of the time is flat.
Watching videos of Multimillion dollar yatchs while wondering how much boat I can get for 595.00.
We can dream.
I couldn't even give away FOR FREE my 1969 fiberglass Tollycraft Voyager 28 with twin Chrysler 318 engines. The boat is near San Francisco. The only lady interested wanted a free trailer with it so she could tow it with her Prius. I'm fixing it now. It just did a 22 mile trip to a new marina with no problems. Cost too much to mail it to you Old Marine.
Yachting Hub Miami if you can dream it, you can do it.
I live in Cleveland. Rarely do u ever see anything over 60'. It blew me away at how many Azmuit, Sunseekers, Magustas, and other yachts over 80' that are actually in Lauderdale/ Miami.. Hearing the term " yacht capital of the world" is one thing. Seeing it in person is a whole different ballgame!!
@@supernova255Jv All that left over coke money from the 80s
I'm working in TX right now , its like 100* and 90% humidity 😫
That water looks so good and refreshing, id love to be on one of those jet skis right now
It looks nice.
@@MiamiBoats nice , refreshing, inviting, beautiful, ..i dont know how (good) ended up in my comment but I swear I'm not Iliterate 😎🌴

Such a great vid 📹🛳️😎💪🏼🔥❤️🌊🌴✅
Kind of a different look. I like it. Thank you for doing this!
Thats the idea
The blue on that Azimut....Great color. I couldn't afford his dingy.
Love the name of the Riva yachts stunning boat as well
Rivas are really nice.... I personally like the domino 88
They're in alot of the old fifties movies!
Wonder how many of these yachts sit empty taking up dock space most of the time?
Gene Jarman all of them lol
many of this yachts I see them every weekend they are charters.
Most.
All of them.
Fuel isn't exactly cheap. Not to mention they are gas hogs
Wow that Mangusta was badass....I’ll take 2!!!!
Yes it is awesome and they always go out or in hot.
Now that is a beautiful boat
yes it is...👍
Love watching this channel but i really like when you put what the size is of the different boats. Helps give a better comparison.
Thanks, will do!
Yachting Hub Miami and the value! Like how much are these big yachts worth like that Mangusta that came in so fast?
Wow ....I guess some people just have too much money ...wish I had that problem The Szmikster Ontario ...Muskoka...Cheers
Thanks for your comment...yes some have a lot.
No one has enough money.
@@jonjacobs3863 some know how to spend it.
I just want a 70 ft sailboat and live on it. And permanently live on it
Bit of that going on in muskoka to though, lol cheers from Lake of bays
The yachts look very nice. Thank you.
Glad you like them!
Yes, over my many years of walking along marinas and seeing beautiful boats/yachts are nice. Even though this virus problem is with the world, I do see many not all boats/yachts out at the marinas here in Chicago.
Stow your fenders when underway! Some look comical.
I am with you in that observation... but I talked to a captain and the problem is that they don't have much space to store them when they have so many passengers? Still really ugly
@@MiamiBoats it's true. And if it's high why risk a MOB situation to look nice
A good deck hand would take care of that..
We put one out on the way between our dock and the gas dock, otherwise, no way! Maybe they will be rafting shortly? Don't live there, don't know.
I didn’t think that looked right. Obviously I am not a boat person, but I know dumb-looking when I see it.
That Mangusta 105 is such a beast! Nice video Gustavo! 🍻
Thanks bro...You have the best wave action channel by far! Visit his channel ua-cam.com/channels/-exjF2T70PJd8jAl050nkw.html
@Yachting Hub Miami Thanks brother! You by far have the best Yacht coverage in South Florida. Keep up the great work. 👍
No zip zap does
@@jebmcdonald5709 He does too...hes my friend.
Whats the price tag on that gusta? 10 million is my guess.
I couldn’t afford the gas in one of those boats😂
I am curious to find out how much would it be?
They are diesel electric. A diesel engine spins a large generator. The generator provides electricity for everything else. Thus, the diesel engine does not really provide the thrust and improves the economy. However, this does not mean that there is not a lot of diesel being used. It is just netted than a diesel direct drive.
@@MiamiBoats well, where I live a full tank of diesel for a 16 meters yacht is approx. 1000€ or more and the boat featured in the video in much larger than that
One Mangusta 105 test that I found online listed the consumption at a 25 knot cruise at 195 gallons per hour. About 1/8 mpg (nautical). V-16 MTU diesels.
Almost 700$ to fill up a 36 foot yellow fin and these boats are double the size one trip is probably in the thousands
I like the channels that post the type of boat and size. So if your interested in buying it is helpful.....and informative
Cool, thanks.... then this is not a channel for you.
What does every one do in Miami to afford these mega yachts? Lol. Incredible.
many are for charter.
@Ben Berndt My thoughts exactly.
I once worked on a 92’ yacht. We used 42 gallons per HOUR at cruise of 17 knts. It cost 250,000/ year just to sit at a dock.
you need lots of money.
4:22, the balloons make a break for it!
Yep... someone is going to be disappointed 😞...hahaha
Looks like the guy on the jet ski ate them.
@@uio890138 ,,, nek minit "aaah, I can't seeee!!"
Those are some nice looking boats!
Glad you like them!
That was a beautiful beginning shot.
thanks...lucky to have been there.
it shows off the maneuverability of the Mangusta, it' handles like a boat half it's size
yeah i am
Captain 👨✈️ go back in ! My drink is going to spill. Jajajaja 🤣
funny dude.
I wanna see that Sunseeker yacht on a day in Haulover Inlet when there are 7-10 foot stand up seas. Many of these yachts are "fair weather" toys.
It ain't the yacht. It's the capt.
One of the first things my parents taught me was, "be aware of your surroundings!" That guy never even saw the yacht. 😳
correct!
a guy overhere in quebec is a comedian and went on an excursion with these guys, i wish you spoke french it hilarious
Beautiful it's beautiful 🤙🏼
That SEA RAY rode those waves RODEO STYLE 🤠🤠🤠🐎🐎🐎
yes it was awesome.
Wow. None of the margaritas on the table on the Mangusta moved the whole way through.
I love this mangusta they always make a scene.
That sunseeker is the bees knees 😍
sure it is.
niami boats excelentes videos y bonitos yates.saludos de mexico
That's nice
What a great video! 🤩
Thank you!! 😁
I seen that sign “Caution Manatee Area” under the bridge. Ugh I’m sure those sweet animals get bopped by the propellers. Not sure how deep that Haulover inlet is.
I have seen then hugging the edges of the inlet...they have learned that.
Yachting Hub Miami That’s good!
@@MiamiBoats , when the crazy credit card captains are running the ICW, everyone has learned that's the only safe place.
Sea Ray trying to look like a mini European mega yacht -- pretty funny.
Rookie capt keeping the bumpers out huh
I have seen doing this for months.
Rookie commentor calling fenders, bumpers. Lol seen it happen alot by non captains. Lol.
Dan Morris driving boats of that caliber bringing your bumpers in by the mate should be part of his job.
Man I love the big yachts..
me to...! Thanks!
All of those pinheads sitting on “Ranni” while bumpers bounce all over the place!
I hate all those fenders they look really cheap.
@@MiamiBoats Leaving your laundry out!
Lol.... he said “bumpers”
Driving around out of the harbour with fenders out is testament to bad seamanship.
@@Boeinguy and? u know what he meant jackass
Some really amazing shots 👏👏 you don’t see these angles from the fellow UA-camr guys there 😉
I like yachts and the lifestyle.
Imagine being so obsessed with a politician that you put his name on your boat. Lmao.
lmao
@Dave Iaucco Yeah, especially when that candidate is neither a candidate nor president anymore. What kind of person cheers a politician like he's a football team?
And then such a disgusting one at that

These are some big toys
The Haulover inlet becomes the Move over inlet when the big yatchs are comíng in.
yes it does....it is awesome to see.
Big boats are less maneuverable so get the right of way.
@@normferguson2769 incorrect. You need to study the rules of the road. There is no big boat rule. When overtaking a vessel the vessel you are overtaking has the right of way until the pass is totally completed. Rule 7 avoid collision at all costs. So if you run over a boat you are overtaking your at fault.
Sure looks like the smaller boat cut across the bow of the larger boat
@@Yalnif5200 Yes, indeed. The operator that cut across the bow was truly someone that is," gonna need a bigger boat."
1:45 deam that looks huuuuuuuuuge in that moment
yes... thanks
The wave runners remind me of little annoying fish swimming around a big shark boat
Hey there’s my buddy. Swanson I wanna go over there
I will say hello to him next time.
YOU SCRATCHED MY ANCHOR!
What would we do with out Caddy Shack?
Hahahahaha!
When the rules of the road are exhausted, remember the rule of gross tonnage always wins.
Thats true 👍
It's also, when you have enough money to pay damages, but you don't have enough time to go slow. I had a friend who was the captain of a well know billionaire's yacht. He said the entire day consisted of trying to squeeze 25 hours out of the day, and speeding everywhere they went, because the owner thought the unfairest thing in the world was that he had the same hours in the day that some homeless bum had.
Another awesome video! Great work
Thanks again!
@2:55 "Caution Manatee Area"??!! Yeh right...they haven't a chance!
I have seen them and they have learned to hug the edges of the inlet.
@@MiamiBoats , the ones that didn't got blenderized!
Always leave your anti-shark fenders hanging along the sides of your boat as you go out to sea.
yes I hate fenders.

4.23 do you see the balloons come undone from the roof and float out the back? Isn't that littering?!!!
yes it is.
@Ernie Tetrault me? no. Im sure they were recovered later, somehow, somewhere.

Riva ! The italian style !
Riva is 100%
@@MiamiBoats yes i know i hade in 1972.... my parents the Riva Acquarama wonderfull boat that was called the Rolls-Royce of the sea ! In those years Riva was the must the best boat in the world !

No problem, Thanks for watching!
I believe that Sea Ray at 8:50 can be seen taking a beating in the background of 2:00 lol
yes, you are correct on that observation... 😁
That probably helped break down the waves
Maybe...Thanks!
Some of these Captains subscribe to the "the bigger vessel is the stand on vessel" mentality.
So cool watching the jetskis buzzing arounf like mosquitos looking for the big waves/wakes. Do you have vid that has jetski highlights?
they are fun to watch. we get distracted by looking at them.
Camera type? Thx
I believe its a telescopic lens which overstates proximity.
yes you a re a genius.... caught me.
Why doesn't that sunseeker at 8:07 pull up all those bumpers? Is that common for captains to leave them? Maybe if they are just going out and back in really quickly?
Notice one of the railings are bent. Maybe they NEVER pull them up.
every time i see it its always with the fenders out....really ugly I would not rent it.
@@MiamiBoats That yacht is a rental? Didn't even consider large ones like that would be rented out. Can't imagine how they get abused.
EddieBoes More than likely professional crew are required on board to operate the vessel. Completely agree that not retrieving fenders is not a good look.
@@EddieBoes yes the sunseeker is a rental 'charter' I see it all the time. always the ugliest fenders are out.
Where you gonna be sunday? I'll be out on a 90 leopard. Might hit up haulover
Around haulover. Look for me on my Instagram account there we can communicate...'negoseator' I saw it yesterday I think. instagram.com/yachtinghubmiami/
Watching these big boats and knowing if I was given one I still couldn’t afford the fuel for it. Oh well, if you got it flaunt it.
I rather go on a cruise...everything is included
I'd love a night away on one of these still probably too expensive for my pocket
Gyro is working :o)
Ues it was 😄
The light blue azimut is my favorite of all, there’s an identical one in GRAND HAVEN MI..LAKE MICHIGAN 👍🏼.
Azimut is The most beautiful in my eyes.
I like the azimut grande new design.
Riva n1
Anyone see that guy break the AZIMUT at 5:21? And try to play it off? Hahaha
yes... maybe a pole for the ropes?
Let me just grab this rod to hang on for support....oh crap! ....I will just put it back and move to the other side no one will even notice....whistles to himself
I figure what he broke must have been important and the reason the Capt turned back around. "You are done for the day buddy."
With a boat named the Disco Volante the owner MUST be a total knob.
funny.
Several skippers needed about 10 knots an trim, Haulover isn't that tough, when you have the boat, an use it as it's intended...
sometimes it gets bad.
That Sunseeker was kind of cute.
sure.
Azimut model at 4:53? I love it😍😍😍😍
they are awesome..thanks!

@@MiamiBoats Muito obrigado
@@MiamiBoats Parabéns + 1 inscrito e boa sorte
I've always run on the premise that when operating a boat, always yield to tonnage, however when a bigger faster boat is overtaking you from behing it is their responsibility to yield the riight of way to you. If they don't they can lose lot of money in court if they cause a collision or an incidentr, so always bring a few video camera's with you when out and about pointed in all directions.
Here is about showing off
How are the waves out there today
Its been big.
Wet
Man man gusta big boat
Are there times where I am allowed to wish a boat to sink? Everyone swims away, of course.
Good atuff
Thanks!
Non sailor here, is that inlet always like that? Not for the inexperienced I'm thinking?
it has constant traffic. Thanks
Thanks for that 😁
I'm happy as a clam with a wooden sea kayak.
Why not. Thanks!
The blue Azimut (4:53) has its antennas partially folded down. ( I won't even go into the fenders still deployed) As a gain antenna, it's range is reduced by not having the antenna vertical. Many of the vessels, even the most expensive, seem to suffer from this condition.
Probably using cell phones locally, and sat phone when out of range. Most of their ship to ship communications is in proximity, no further than the horizon, and VHF would likely work well enough for that even when horizontally polarized. Half the people they would likely communicate with on a local basis, are using handheld VHF with a - 6" antenna, most of them hold the radio on a 45° angle or even on the flat side. If they are well offshore, it might impede a SOS. But, I do take your point.
@@DougsterCanada1 Most police vessels i have had a chance to check out do not even listen to the vhf just the cop radio
Can someone explain to me why so many boats turned around and went back in to the channel
Sometimes is just for show..
They carry customers and they give them the experience... and sometimes if the sea is to rough they rather go by the intracoastal
5:18 man in the cockpit is breaking the boat!
I think he has a cool job.
Looks like he just accidentally grabbed and dislodged a boat hook thinking it was a grabrail - nothing broken that I could see.
Captain,my hat! Circle around and we gotta get that hat it cost me $11.
Its crazy how many hats end up at sea..Thanks!
Uaallll incrível sensacional 😁😳😳👀👀👀🇺🇸🇮🇱🇧🇷🇺🇸🥰
We should thank the captain for that display!
Not bullying anyone... that inlet has a stong following sea and they needed the speed for steerage
It was completely safe the lens made it look like that...still awesome.
4:22 - "Honey, turn around! My balloons!!"
someone is going to get pissed off.... you didn't get me balloons?
couldn't imagine having that much money
We can dream. 😉
Should say Mangusta, bully of the sea
Thanks for the input...😂
Why were the boats going out and then back in??
to many waves and they had guest.
Say WHAT? You forgot the Champaign, Skipper return to the dock immediately...
As a boater there is a speed limit when entering a channel to prevent wakes.....is that not the case there?
Here is all show... there's police but it seems fine to them.
i leave on the penthouse on the Building in the inlet
That Mangusta 108 is around $5.6 million while I'm contemplating if I can afford a Beneteau Antares 7 for $70k.

not really but they do.
