Oh honey preach! When I started Carnivore at the start of the year, I said to my husband and kids "on every diet I have ever been on, I have sent myself insane cooking a separate meal for me and a separate meal for you guys. I am not doing that anymore. If I can't have it, I am NOT cooking it. If you want it, YOU cook it!"
Good for you! I don't know how old your kids are, but cooking for themselves is a great skill for any kid to develop anyway.

Cassie, I do not even have ANY non carnivore food in my house. I do not cook for anyone but me these days. I was offered pastriess at church this week and I politely declined. I was put in a position to finally say that I do not eat sweets of any kind, thank you. Wow, how suprised I was that it upset everyone in ear shot. It's MY life and I get to control what goes in MY mouth without being beholding to someone else for my choices. I didn't tell them how they were poisoning themselves with every bite because I have respect for their choice because it has no impact on my health. Our culture is so upside-down.❤❤

Our church fellowship is very small, but I can think of four people, including the pastor's wife, who are diabetic. I pray for them. I pass up the cookies and sweets. Being carnivore helps. I am sorry others pressured you to not honor your own health choices.
Totally related to this one! I made dessert for a Lenten meal in March, and I suffered so much guilt, I wanted to go to confession!!! 😅 Everyone loved it (and I didn't touch a bite)-- but I knew it was full of sugar, and that was the final straw. NOT doing that again!
And YES, a carnivore app would be great -- it is rather rough when the friends you hung out before with don't want to get together, because all you'll be bringing or eating is the meats. We all need some support in this crazy world! 👍
There comes a time when it just doesn't sit well with us. I will serve up some veg, but it would have to be low carb, bottom line is if I won't eat it I won't serve it

Hi Cassie. Larry & I share a the same bday, but I'm a dozen years older than him. Good for you that your not serving up poison. I find it so difficult to watch little children being fed so many carbohydrates, seed oils, grains, garbage, etc. I want to cry when I see a 3-y-o drinking a huge slushy full of sugar and chemicals. 😱😱😱
It hurts my heart too, Linda. People are being poisoned and have no idea or they refuse to believe it.
@CarnivoreQuest I remember my pediatrician telling my mom not to give us junk. Soda was only on special occasions like birthdays, as was cake or snacks. It was water, milk or diluted reconstituted juice ( I think mom was stretching the dollar since dad's was the only income). Sadly we all ate a lot of carbs and fruit because of the stupid pyramid. But at least it was real food
Love your idea! It would be great to meet nearby carnivores and go out for coffee or a steak and also to have an online space to "talk" carnivore. Can't wait.

When you mentioned a dating website I immediately thought about just a meet-up group in different states/cities to meet others for support. Maybe that could lead to something more, but I'd just love to meet other like-minded people in my area. And finding carnivore doctors would be SO appreciated. I found only 1 NP who practices over 40 miles from me.
That would be a "meat-up" group, meat-up dating service. Lol❤❤❤

I agree 100%with oceanlover. Would love to connect with fellow carnivores, and hopefully where we can do meat ups and get to know other carnivores. That way, hopefully many friendships could be developed along the way and it would be so nice to have people with similar interest to compare notes as it seems everybody does carnivore a little bit different. Cassie I think you’re doing a great job and your dinner for Larry for his birthday looked wonderful.
I also hope that you will do more recipes. I’ve been trying to work into 100% carnivore but I just haven’t been able to get there yet, slow but sure but I like to make my food interesting and love variety so thanks again, also finding the carnivore Drs will be wonderful too.

My grandchildren Easter egg hunt for eggs with money in them.
I quit volunteering at a food bank because 90% of the ‘food’ is poison.
It’s interesting looking at waistlines and shopping carts at the grocery. The elderly who are low protein but high vegetable/fruit eaters look like scrawny chickens with obvious sarcopenia and hunchbacks and often walkers or canes. It is so sad.
It is sad, my heart breaks whenever I'm grocery shopping. Especially for the young kids, what kind of foundation is being built for then. Just terrible!
I just recently started noticing this, too. It is sad when you see people struggling to even walk in the store and see what they have in their cart. I'm not trying to be judgmental. I was there too. They just don't know. I have the urges to start telling everyone, but I know there is a 90% chance of them not accepting it and just thinking I'm crazy.
Setting up a forum for local meat ups is a wonderful idea. I have absolutely NO ONE local for support. I'm a widow, and yes, gets lonely at times. Would be nice to have carnivore friends and/or special someone in North Eastern MD.

We do certainly have online communities and the different events, but a sort of meat up would be good for the community as a whole. This is a big venture. Ask the community for help when you get to that poing.

Just yesterday I was searching online for Carnivore Groups near me here in Southern Indiana. None here. I love the great variety of ideas that you have, especially a central place to go. It would be a awesome way to connect with like-minded people in various ways. And... if I met a gentleman through it, that would be great! But not my #1 priority! I am newer to the area and would love to meet others who share the lifestyle, want to get together, hike, and travel, etc. Fantastic idea! Looking forward to the launch! Yay!😃

Every other week I play cards with the same group I've been playing cards with since 1990. We rotate hosting responsibilities. I've now found that this is the night that I am challenged to present something amazing that is both carnivore and festive. Day to day I find boring comforting but it's kind of fun every 6 weeks to do something different. Although my friends are not in favor of strict carnivore, they are appreciative of something different once in awhile.
There are plenty of Carnivore recipes to impress them with. Who knows what can happen from your feast❤️

Delish! I took about 4 oz bacon...any bacon will do (I like to bake it in the oven) I added chopped bacon and the grease, a few oz of good cheddar a little onion powder and enough room temp butter to make it as creamy as you like. Mix well, stuff and enjoy👍

Hey Cassie! Looking Good! And... Happy Birthday to Larry! Love your recipes and dedication! SO proud of you both! What an awesome idea to have a central place to connect with other like-minded people in a variety of ways! Just yesterday I was searching online in my area of Southern Indiana for groups and doctors to no avail. I would love to meat up and connect with people here that get it, are active regardless of age that like to hike and travel, etc. And, in the meantime if I meet a gentleman to share life with, that would be great. But... not my #1 priority. I'm hoping at this point to simply make connections and go with the flow.
I grow chillies, tomatoes, herbs, i then put them in my Ninja 10 in one cooker to dehydrate. Grind them down to a fine powder. Since turning carnivore i get a very upset tum eating any fresh veg or fruit. But absolutely fine with my homemade seasonings! Only 4 months into carnivore, love it.
Cassie, just and FYI, I’m reading replies and seeing that some of the comments are not showing including yours. Everything looked great!❤ Also my hubby and I have been married almost 40 yrs and have know each other since 1980, but I am a lonely ketovore, he is very slowly coming on board, but has always been one to believe he can eat what he wants. He gain about 10lbs. But has recently lost it cutting carbs and alcohol. I’m proud of him, because he chose to do this, no pressure here. I did tell him that giving up wine helped me to sleep better and that him eat carbs and drinking alcohol before bed is probably what was causing him to feel sick at night. He is doing much better 😊

YESSS! I need a carnivore network! I have no one that I know of who is carnivore and it can get lonely! I'm married but travel the carnivore road solo (my husband is very supportive and also is a clean eater, like ingredients watcher - no seed oils, added sugar, etc). A network where you can discover people in your area, and doctors, would be great!

Very inspiring video, thank you. I'm excited too for this idea you talked about at the end. I'm an elderly single in Tampa and the only carnivore I know here is me and the dogs. (well they are ketovore). When I see a gentlemen friend it is usually a mid brunch meat up and I only eat eggs or meat. He is addicted to the sad diet but give me NO grief for being a carnivore. He is shocked that I do not have high blood pressure. Sadly I'm like a junkie and cheated with carbs which means having a hell of a time going back to full blown carnivore. I won't quit trying to get back to the PHD. I definately have a doctor supporting carnivore in North Tampa.

Carnivore Connections/Carnivores Connect/The Meating Place/ Meat Your Match/etc~ lots of good names/titles pop in my head, for sure. As for input & ideas, here's a couple I thought of;
1.) Maybe a section for people to post local meat sales, beef/lamb/pig farmers in your area, cow sharing/bulk meat buys, recipes, ideas for "new traditions", staying on track, etc. A community input page.
2.) How about a success stories page or section? Folks can write in, send photos, etc. to encourage others & share healing. Maybe even a mentor-to-newbie match up area where info & support can be exchanged.
3.) A section for current studies, science & data relating to meat based eating. Both the positive & the detracting ones even, since we learn best via comparative thought & debate.
*These may be things you've already considered, but thought I'd throw them out here. Great idea btw, creating a "Meating Spot". You guys will do well with it, no doubt~ because you do have the heart for this community, as well as the tenacity to push through, regardless.
Hubby’s not Carnivore. I cannot cook especially like I used to. Also he never seemed to appreciate my cooking. We’ll have barbecues and I’ll prepare veggies from frozen. Other times he’ll have some frozen dinners. Appreciate this video for not making me feel guilt.

I've hear often people worried about having cravings.. After going carni I realized those cravings was my body begging me for what it needed. Guess what, no more cravings. Taste bud satisfying is a reaction and a false indicator that your hungry...So you learn what the difference is to what you/we/us have been paying attention.
Reality, comfort foods are killing you/we/us.... stop it for G 's sake and move on to life...and life more abundantly, as it says ... I did and never ever thought I would allow garbage over my lips again. I remember all to well how I felt and how my immune system retuned ...eat the strong meat do not live on the milk ..

We make flan or cheesecake with Allulose for our special occasion desserts now. Edit: I would vote no on the dating aspect. Online dating is fraught with serious problems, scams, catfishing, etc. and possible liability. But I’m an elderly widow and not interested so take it with a grain of salt.

One thing I would like to see is something for age groups. Maybe over 50 or 55 for example. I don't want to yoke myself with someone who doesn't strongly believe in proper human diet.

Hi Cassie. It sounds like you had a great birthday celebration for Larry. I think that it is wonderful that you can start new traditions. New traditions are always fun. As far as your website that you are creating: My husband of almost 24 1/2 years, passed away just over 15 1/2 years ago. While I have dated, and even been engaged, it has never worked out because they weren't the one's that God had for me. At this point, I think that it would be great to have a male friend to spend time with and talk with. I do get excited when I see "perfect" couples find each other, so I think it will be fun. I’ve always thought that there should be some carnivores in my area. I live in a community that is about 6000 people. The next closest community is a city of approximately 70,000 people that is an hour away. Somehow, whenever I am in carnivore forums that promote getting together, all I hear is crickets! Absolutely no one in my area.

I found support on youtube. Best place to meet like-minded meat eaters. But I guess some people prefer face-to-face contact.

I am staying the course with Carnivore, but it's really tough . Thank goodness for BBB&E! I know that yielding to carbs and sugar will only make a bad situation worse. Yes, I would love carnivore friends my own age. I don't know anybody in my life who is on board with this, all my friends and family think I'm crazy and that we "need" carbs. If I was single I would definitely use it for that too! I am not on Facebook or social media by choice as for me it is a big time waster so it would be cool to have an app where the purpose is to actually "meat" people face to face rather than just talking online. With Facebook groups there gets to be so many people and posts that it's overwhelming and you don't feel like you're connecting with anyone.

Would a recipe section make sense on the Meating Spot? Maybe split into levels of strictness... lion recipes, seasoning use, seasoning and dairy recipes, etc. 🤷♀️ I'm just throwing it out there. Sounds like a great idea!
Absolutely!
A very quick way to BBQ 🍗🍗🍗chicken 🐓is to first microwave the chicken pieces (with just salt and pepper) in a covered Corning ware until cooked…falling off the bone cooked‼Meanwhile, preheat your BBQ. Once cooked…Bring the entire Corning ware dish to the backyard. Place cooked chicken on BBQ grill skin side up and baste from time to time with the chicken juices at the bottom of the microwave dish.
Close the BBQ lid. Allow the BBQ heat to fully brown the chicken…and with the lid closed…the chicken will smoke and turn into the irresistible Smokey chicken we all adore. Not enough smoke⁉…baste with more of those chicken juices. This entire process should take about 10-12 minutes. You do not have to turn the chicken…they will brown to a wonderful crispness and get that BBQ smoke we all adore. When dark golden brown….the chicken is ready to serve. Fall off the bone cooked and wonderful. Four pieces should microwave about 28-30 minutes plus then add 10-12 minutes for smoking and browning! SO much faster than cooking chicken…and babysitting that chicken on the BBQ! This works every time! So fast. So simple…you will barely have time to set the table‼🍽🍽🍽🍽‼🍗You’re Welcome‼😋😋😋
