"Once you catch that momentum........DON"T STOP!!".................I love it. Truer words have never been said!!!
AMEN!! Good juju can be hard to find, so once you find it, NEVER let it go! 😘
True. Fell off the wagon but I’m back on track! 6 months carni here
Job change was critical
I’m in the middle of moving and once we do I’m thinking of either stopping coffee or just doing iced once a day
15lbs down is fantastic, your on the right track, I find that those who make it to goal and lose those last 15-20 lbs they have to push it a little harder, either drop dairy, walk more, tighten their eating window, but they have to tighten the reigns to get to lean! Keep it up!
Congratulations Cassie! Giving up on dairy is a huge win! You are such a beautiful soul
Thank you🔥🥰😘
Congratulations on the huge achievement. Giving up coffee is extremely difficult. Great job Cassie!
Thank you so much! It wasn't as hard this time around. Recently something clicked and I feel stronger and more determined than ever👍
I drink about 4 "cups".... two big mugs a day.
Cass, I switched to decaf a long time ago, but I finally realized I still didn't feel good drinking even the decaf (and of course it was with HWC). So I stopped all of it a week ago and I am already noticing a positive difference. This is a REAL THING.
I've heard that decaf is even worse, health-wise, because of all the solvents used in the decaffeination process.
@@itzakpoelzig330 And they use the less perfect beans.
Fantastic Donna❤️ It's a hard realization to give up that one last thing! Good for you. Keep going and don't look back🔥
Organic beans can't use chemical solvents...so if you're gonna drink any coffee just buy organic...I started carnivore 7 days ago...I have quit coffee several times in my life to feel better before, but those times I was still consuming carbs and wasn't doing any kind of keto eating. I always felt better but always went back to drinking it after a couple of months of abstaining. Never in massive quantities per day. But I quit caffeine or coffee altogether for carnivores, and the first day was brutal, but every day since then, I have been feeling awesome. I honestly can't drink it on carnivore. I would legit probably have a hard time not pooping my pants. I have been battling the loose stool since day 1.
I am just not there yet. I do think that I will actually feel better and get that last 10lbs off when I do. But, I’m so very emotionally attatched😢 I’m giving myself a good talking to just about every day. I know it’s coming; I will make up my mind and then one day decide this is the day. But, right now it causes me anxiety to even think I might not have it tomorrow. I truly am addicted. I am SOO proud of you for taking the leap, Cassie!! Way to go!! Thank you for sharing your story and helping all of us realize, it can be done and we’ll be better for it when we do! 💝
It took me a few years to get here. I had that same anxiety too. I just couldn't imagine my life without the last comfort...aka vise. I'm going to continue counting up I til I decide to enjoy a cup of Joe with cream. Maybe in May I'll indulge, but for now I must abstain. You will get there when you are ready❤️
I am so proud of you!! 👏🏻
Thanks you MamaBear❤️ I got a good thing going, and feel better than I ever have👍
Good morning Cassie. Perfect timing for me to see your 30 days without coffee. I have been drinking black tea in the mornings. Gotta add butter though. I only have coffee now at Bible study on Wednesday mornings, with butter. The group thinks I am weird. At first they had sweets, then, chip and dip. Our hostess asked if I like devilled eggs, (at Bible study, lol), yes! Finally something I can enjoy with them. So much better for all of us. Back to coffee, I am sleeping longer now. More energy. Only been 2 weeks, but a nice change. Dementia has been in my family, so sad. It`s the #1 reason I started Carnivore. Now to hear that coffee can be a problem too, I am done with it. You and Larry are such an inspiration to so many of us, thank you. May God bless you with health, wealth, and a closer walk with him. Love you both.
Thank you so much❤️
I have gave up coffee but not cheese and sour cream. I'm working on. I never really did Cream. But I finally got to 160. I'm feeling it's all down hill now. Great going girl! I'm grounding and listening to my girl.❤
I was in a plateau for months and I just hung on there not expecting anything. Stayed on coffee and Yoga, green and regular teas. I am primarily carnivore 90% and -ish. I’m there again at my desired weight. Everything is fitting again. I’m staying on my black coffee. I just don’t drink after the morning but I’ll polish three good cups. I was always afraid of eating too much cheese because I know if you are trying to lose weight it may slow you down from getting to your goal. Cassie, I am sure you are going to be okay whatever you do. You look great! Hey, Cassie, I tested cancer free now and safe now so I’m happy. I stayed in carnivore throughout my treatment and the doctors said it was fine. In life we’ve got to lighten up and live a little. There are certainly worse things we can do. Keep up with the good work! Don’t be so hard on yourself! Sending much love and positive thoughts to the both of you! ❤❤
Tommy!!! Congratulations! I was wondering when I'd get a report from you! I'm really happy for you. Keep doing your thing. Cheers to better health ❤️🔥👍🥰😘
You are looking good Cassie...
Thank you!
Wow, I wouldn’t have thought in a million years that you would quit coffee! You’re an inspiration Cassie!!! ❤️
Right!!! Doing it! I had one day where I tested the waters and had some coffee...not doing that again. I'll shoot a vlog about it telling y'all about the experience 🤪
Thank you for sharing your victory!
My pleasure!
Awesome job! 🎉& girl you look so much younger than when yall started!
She really does.
I agree. And so much HAPPIER!!!
Thank you!! 😊
Awesome Cassie! You and Larry have given us the greatest inspiration by talking about your challenges, and how you've both overcome them. Lately I am having a cheese aversion, and I'm grateful for that. You have shown us how the carnivore diet is a progressive one, especially for us with food addictions. ROCK ON Ms. Cassie! So grateful for you both!!❤
Thank you Leslie❤️
Good for you!! I’m giving up dairy starting tomorrow! My body just can’t handle it. I get way too inflamed!! Thanks for the inspiration!👏🏻🥳🎉👏🏻
Thank you! You too!
Wow Cass! You have done an awesome job! I am so proud of you! I have a coffee addiction too and God knows I need to give it up. I'm like you were. I can drink it all day long. I am on my second 12oz cup this morning! Pray for me. Thanks! PS you are looking great and beautiful.
Cchand, like anything else, try to cut back gradually. Maybe cut to 10 oz cups. Good luck 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💕🕊
@@lindaa2437 thank you! I'm going to try to give it up since the weather is getting warmer.
It took a hard stop for me to finally quit. I tried moderating and it always led me back to where I started. You'll kick it when you're ready👍
Way to go Cassie !!!!! You look and sound great.
You're giving me "food for thought", thank you
My pleasure👍
So proud of you! I'm really struggling with giving up cheese.
I’ve been a 2-3 cup of coffee per day person. After reading a section of The Carnivore Code on coffee recently, I made the intention to reduce to 1 (maybe 2) per day. You are an inspiration!!!
congrats
I kept testing coffee at 2 yrs in I quit and had HUGE gains :)
been a carnivore for over 4 years now so yeah it's gone and did test it again and for sure a no-go for me
I do think many have way too much dairy and are having slow weight loss issues because of it
and way too many alternative recipes :) not popular to say but what I feel :)
for the cheese, I will not touch any domestic pasteurized cheese
I do some Parmesan for my no gallbladder and ONLY Italian Parmesan as it is Raw dairy and a2
and for me Raw dairy cheese is way better
if I did not lose my gallbladder I would not be eating any I reckon :)
and I keep testing every 6 months to a year to see if I can get away without cheese but so far I cant
Glad you could break free. Most of the addictive things are holding us back
Agreed, I know the addictive dairy kept me down for so long, I ditched it and magically I feel better! Weird😘
Im giving up dairy and cheese starting this Monday, then giving up coffee next Saturday. I must wait until Im off work! Thank you for sharing this! I can't wait to give up the coffee. I drink it all day.
Keep me updated Caroline! You can do this.. it's mind over matter🥰
Way to go Cassie, this is a big win. I did awhile ago and at one point decided it wouldn't make a big differnce if I had some dairy. My body let me know it does make a difference. I do have a cup of coffee from time to time but I don't mess with dairy. I know you won't regret this. This for sharing your victory!
Thanks Dee❤️ I really feel so good! Moving forward👍
Yeah for Cassie. I can really see a difference in your face now even more beautiful and slender. Keep up the good work.
Holy that’s allot of cream! I can’t believe you lost weight doing that… proud of you girl!
Thank you! I stalled out for a long time, and I always knew why. I allowed my addiction to stay in control
Congratulations Cassie!!!! This is amazing!! ❤
Congrats on dropping down to onederland and I am sure you will be staying there. You got me thinking things. I occasionally add cheese in an attempt to get things moving (the weight, not the bowels... they do well on their own). Coffee I gave up last year for the same reason although I have never been big on the stuff. Nothing has worked. I drink a cup of coffee a day now... since it doesn't seem to affect me either way. I may give it up again. Anyway, vitamin P (patience) it will have to be. I wish you well.
I have been off coffee completely for months. I have suffered with gut issues for years. Even having to carry an epi pen because of allergic reactions to I didn’t know what. After being off coffee for several weeks my gut issues corrected. I don’t know the connection, but coffee was not my friend. I am so much happier and healthier. Of course once in a while I think a coffee would be so nice, but I never want to fear for my life again because I’m about to pass out.
Oh my! Glad you are doing so well now❤️
Coffee beans is loaded with oxalate. I gave up coffee for joint pain relief. Will never go back.
Mycotoxins too, sadly.
Is it the same for decaf (regarding oxalates) ?
@@Lala.903unfortunately yes…
Awesome, Cassie! I’ve really been thinking about giving it up. This is definitely encouraging!
You can do it, when you're ready!
Yay, great work!
In early Feb I gave up all caffeine and cheese. I am having health issues with nerve pain and I noticed that my morning cuppa joe was exacerbating my pain. I also have always had anxiety and used coffee to prop up my exhaustion. I sleep better now and some of my anxiety has subsided. I just don’t want to go back to it, even though I do miss it in the mornings. Feeling better is a great trade off!!🎉
Isn't that the truth?!?! All of what you said is true. I'm so happy for you, keep going and you'll only feel better and better👍
@@ledacedar6253 cheese is so addictive for me, I think I feel better without it… I do eat butter and plenty of it, eggs, red meat and fish. The nerve pain is from muscular injury to my legs. But I’m going to get tested for autoimmune type disorders as well. This is why I need to eat an anti inflammation diet. glad you’re having good results. 👍
Congratulations!! Love you guys!! ❤
I can so relate, Cassie…yes, going through all this too! Thanks, May God bless you & your home! Take Care!😁👍🏻
Thank you! You too!❤️❤️❤️
I've done the math and figured out that coffee and heavy cream make up a hefty chunk of my grocery budget, so yeah, I'm seriously giving this some thought.
By the way, that is one gorgeous thumbnail.
Do it for your health...win/win more money in your pocket less weight on the scale and you'll feel better
MY GIRL!!!!!! ❤❤❤ Day 15 here!! ❤❤ Get it girl!! 😘😘
Heck yes! Kicking butt and taking names🔥
Good for you Cassie! I did it once and I want to do it again but boy it's hard! You should be proud of this!
Thanks Anita❤️ I'm having great success without it. I feel well rested, have more energy throughout the day, and without the dairy in my life I feel less bloated. I'm on a roll and am going to run with it💪
Yay! Way to go!!
Congratulations, Cassie! That is quite an accomplishment. Amazing self control. Yay! And Onederland! 👏👏👏
Thanks Jan! It was past due, I was tempted a few times but put my foot down and said No More!
Thank you for this Cass. I love your strength and commitment. You look and sound wonderful. I’m ready for a reset and you’ve inspired me! 💕
Hi KathyJohnson. Good luck on your reset! 👋💕

Way to go Cassie!❤
absolutely glowing! good for you!👏👏👏💟
Thank you so much 😀
Congratulations Cassie!!
Thank you❤️
Thx for sharing on this topic. Just diagnosed with gyn cancer a couple of weeks ago. Puts things in perspective. I loved my coffee as a caffeine & flavor delivery vehicle with cream. But since my diagnosis, I’ve cut out the coffee, dairy, & skinny syrups. Eating clean ketovore & IF. Recovering well from surgery last week & preparing for chemo/radiation in next few weeks. Plan to use more 48-72 hr fasting before & after treatments, & other Dr. Seyfreid metabolic supports along with the conventional treatments to enhance efficacy & reduce side effects. Thank you for sharing your cancer survivorship journey as well. Thx 🙏 ❤️
Hi Patty! I'm so sorry you are having to deal with the nasty beast of cancer! One thing is for sure using as low carb along with fasting will greatly reduce your chances of recurrence. Question: will you still take conventional treatment if told you're cancer free after a pet scan? If so why? Have you seen my cancer video? Here's the link...
ua-cam.com/video/cqzOGp7zdho/v-deo.htmlsi=cW9-nCa-DofHUNPi
I also had to give up the coffee and learned that it was the culprit for back pain so extra bonus. I knew I needed to give up dairy and so I needed to give up coffee to do that bc I don’t enjoy black coffee. I was so surprised that the caffeine was the cause of my back pain.
It's not the cup of joy everyone seems to think it is. Glad you found the source of your back pain👍
Great update!
Thanks!
Cassie … Just discovered your channel; have subscribed and will receive all notifications. Am also keto/carnivore. Your channel and story are so motivational & inspirational!!! Thank you and your husband for what y’all are doing!!! Until your next video and beyond, happy trails, best wishes, take care, be safe, God’s peace and God bless!!! Chuck Knight from Atascocita, Texas. ✝️🎣👨🌾🦌🙏
Hi Chuck! Glad you found us! As you can see from our videos it's been a long journey with many stumbling blocks along the way, but we are doing great now and learning, albeit slowly, how to fine tune carnivore to make it work. Welcome aboard❤️-Cassie
CONGRATULATIONS 🎉
Look at you go, Cassie!!! Congrats on your achievement. Hugs
Hugs back at ya!
You go girl! I love the fight in you! I also gave up all dairy, and wine, but still drinking 1 cup black coffee in the morning, I was drinking two cups with 2 teaspoons HWC, hoping to drop the black coffee soon as I really don't like it. Inflamation is definitely down and the arthritis in my hands is better, also dropped 3lbs...hopeful
That's wonderful! You are making great steps to a healthier you❤️
I cannot imagine giving up coffee!!! but I actually think about doing it all of the time! Kudos to you, you're very inspiring.
It's easier than you think!
You have a terrific channel! I really enjoy your videos. Cheers to your wellness.
Thank you very much!
I stopped earlier this month, too! Feeling so much better. 😊
That's great!
I did things the other way around, I was completely clean for the first 3 months, reintroduced coffee in month 4 and cheese in months 5. Coffee didn’t cause any noticeable changes, and I plan to eliminate it again to verify, but my energy levels completely collapsed after a couple weeks incorporating an ounce or two of cheese into my daily meal, so that’s a permanent no-go now. My weight actually kept dropping while eating cheese, and bounced up a couple pounds after I dropped the stuff (despite my “calories” dropping by several hundred, just another anecdote to say that the CICO model is nonsense), so it doesn’t hinder my weight loss, but including it makes me feel almost as bad as on the SAD.
There's something in the cheese other than gmo rennet . We simply are not being told about it, I see nothing wrong with having quality dairy occasionally and in small amounts. But there will be some side effects, as you know. For optimal health ditch it👍
Well done, coffee is probably one of the hardest things to quit…I was shocked how much weight I lost and my belly went down from stopping having just Greek yogurt everyday (sugar free). Eating healthy I used that as a dessert so I would over indulge.
I gain weight from carbs but I actually gained a lot more weight from full cream yogurt than carbs to my surprise.
Isn't that just crazy? Yes you can gain while on a carnivore diet.
I love the ‘wonderland’ phrase! Done that myself and love it when I can stay there! 🎉
The best!
You’re inspiring. Thank you for your positive vibes.
You are so welcome Donna!!🥰
The only cheese I’m having these days is cottage cheese that I mix in my scrambled eggs and then add them to my chorizo/hamburger breakfast bowl… I make a big batch and meal prep it when I’m not working…💋🧚🏻♀️❤️🇺🇸
Keep going Cassie, you’re an inspiration. Day 30 of my carnivore diet, no coffee and no dairy just meat. I have never felt this good in a long time and I am never going back to my old ways.
I'm so happy for you! You went hardcore🔥 You're a warrior👍
I'm a 2 pot a day coffee drinker and I keep telling myself I need to at least minimize my intake..... haven't yet! I needed to see this! Thanks for the inspiration !
You'll get there. A hard stop was what it took. I fasted for 3 days and just rolled with it.
Yay Cassie you go girl. You’re looking great ❤
Thanks Luz! I'm feeling great 👍
I wish I could have a cup of coffee on occasion. If I have just one cup it's guaranteed to turn into at least 2 cups a day within the next couple of weeks. I recently got myself hooked again and am working on coming back off of it. I've done this too many times to not finally learn from it, so going forward I'm going to have to adopt a zero coffee/caffeine policy for myself.
It's a slippery slope for sure. Be well, my friend❤️
@@CarnivoreQuest You too! ❤
TY for the encouragement to quit coffee. Congrats on the progress, too!
Don't STOP believing😂!!! Love me some Journey 😆
Hold on to that feeling🥰
Way to go Cassie!!!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I did the lion diet for January (no coffee or dairy either), had headaches for 9 days but I’m so glad to not be addicted anymore. Now I only have coffee on the weekends and maybe 1 time a week. I make sure I don’t have it often enough to get addicted and I only have 1 cup usually.
Thank you Cassie! I lost 40 pounds the first 3 months and have stalled for the last 3months. Been considering eliminating the cream and cheese and now I’ve made up my mind thanks to you for sharing your experience.
You bet👍 Let me know how it's going for you. Stay strong, just like you did getting on carnivore, your body will thank you for it. Have patience and give yourself a little grace❤️
Good for you!!
Thank you very much! I'm really feeling good 👍

You're really on a roll. You look 20 years younger than you are.
Well, thank you! 😊 I feel 20 years younger too
I'm so proud of you Cassie. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I'm thinking on ditching the coffee. I've cut it down to 2 cups a day.
Thays good progress! You will do it when you're ready👍
Great job🎉
Thank you! 😁
Congratulations 🎉that is an accomplishment to be proud of! I have just quit coffee and dairy today because my blood work showed I have severely high homocysteine level even though I have been eating high fat, high protein and low carbs since July of last year and I have lost 60 lbs.
Congratulations! I can't wait to get back to ONE-derland too!
It feels so good👍 I still have about 50ish pounds to go. I'll get there when I get there, and you will too❤️
You’re on fire!🎉🎉🎉

@@CarnivoreQuest thank you so much!! I’ll watch it now. Have a wonderful day today! ❤️❤️❤️
I'm so proud of you, Cassie!! You look extra beautiful and calm!! I'm reducing my coffee, and you have convinced me that I need to stop for one month and see what difference it makes!! I have seen amazing health benefits from carnivore, but still have high blood pressure and on meds for that! I have wondered if stopping coffee would help with that!! Also been waking up more at night and want to sleep better!! You and Larry have inspired and encouraged me through SO MANY things, so why not add one more!! Love y'all!! God bless you!! ❤🤗🤗🙏🙏🙏
Betty, coffee is known to raise blood pressure. The first week or so can be a little rough, but stick it out and you'll feel better. My energy is very consistent and I am up and at em in the mornings. You can do it too❤️
My Mom died of severe dementia at 95. She NEVER drank coffee. She never drank alcohol. She never smoked. However, she did take Statins for many many years and mostly ate carbs. She even ate "raw" macaroni, all her life. I had severe acid reflux with caffeinated coffee. I now drink only decaf. Cannot drink black though.
That's so hard to watch a loved one go through...I'm so sorry. 😢 yeah, the statin thing really upsets me and how cholesterol has been demonized all these years. You can learn from her life and death and make it count by living a PhD lifestyle ❤❤❤
@@Jennieadams1979 I have always been a proponent of eating well and living healthy. My Doc continually tries to put me on Statins. I am waiting for him to "fire" me. I had the opportunity in 1998 to be put through many tests at the only heart institute in my home country. The cardiologist there begged me to stop being a vegetarian and start eating meat again. (I had been for 7 years then) and told me that
my cholesterol levels were not of concern because of my high HDL. In return, my physician never demanded that I take statins. At 68 I have never had a heart issue. Sadly when I moved to the USA all docs I have encountered promote Statins. My doctor told me basically that the cardiologist who wanted me to stop eating as a vegetarian was incorrect because "any heart surgeon" he knows "is a vegan or vegetarian". Also, he stated that most are "runners". Does anyone ever wonder about the vegetarian or vegan runners who drop dead or have heart attacks? Hmmm. My daughter has become a vegan of sorts. She is overweight to the point that I am concerned. She never had a weight problem before this. Her hair is also thin like a much older woman's. She won't listen to me, of course.
I'm sorry you had to watch your mom's decline, it must have been heartbreaking. You learned from thay experience, people from older generations just had healthier food options unlike today's garbage. Be blessed, my friend
Congratulations!
Thank you! Feeling better by the day❤️
Way to go Cassie! You rock!

thank you 👍
excedrin has caffeine in it
but does help for those first
few days of withdrawal headaches
Excedrine does have caffine, but it's just something to help get through the withdrawls👍 And it did! I took it maybe 4 times while dealing with some extreme headaches.
Congrats on the 30 days Cassie! I’m a life long cheese lover! It’s so hard! I haven’t been drinking barely any coffee for at least a month. Caffeine has been giving me problems. Today however I ordered some for my grocery order with a container of cream.😅I’m going to try not to get into the daily habit again.
Oh geez, all it takes is one cup to easily return to old habits. I know it's hard, try to keep it to a minimum...for your health👍
@@CarnivoreQuest Definitely! I actually haven’t even opened it yet so I think it will last awhile!😂
looking good girl- I gave up creamer and it was so hard
I’m 64 and refuse to give up my coffee, dairy, spice & an occasional beer. I love Ketovore & Carnivore but look at it as a forever eating plan not for weight loss. Congrats on your journey and hope you reach your goal.
Thank you!! And we have the same attitude as you! Find what is sustainable for you!💯❤️
Switched to green tea and my mood is in the stratosphere. Love your channel. Can you provide some links about the claim of 50% higher risk getting dementia if you drink coffee. I can't find any medical posts that support that claim. You are an inspiration. Thanks!💕
So I don't have a link for you. But I sourced the research findings from a website called labroots, it's a UK publication. The sources are out there, sometimes we have to dig deep
