Hey Guys :D We are really really close to 2K subs, would be great if you hit that subscribe button, thanks you so much for the support and watching the videos :)
In the newer version of Blender, there is no longer "mix RGB", instead there is "mix color". I hope I helped and saved you some time.
thank you
unable to find that as well
Man, you have saved me a lot of headaches just in 90secs. I have been searching through the internet for over 3yrs for this. I continue to see half information. Thanks . Infact am subscribing right away.
That's great, Thanks
glad it was helpful :D
Please I want to make one request on this topic, can you make a short tutorial like this for texture painting the bears head with brushes?
Brilliant as always. I just tried this today, but it kept painting other, seemingly random parts of the mesh as well. I was UV unwrapping my model again and again, trying to spot the issue, but there didn't seem to be any overlaps. And then I realized that I had left Y symmetry on (gigantic eye roll). So I'm just leaving this here in case someone makes the same mistake.
Do we need to uv unwrap the model first in order to follow this tutorial?
@@nenikamou Yes, it's important.
It’s always the little things that take you most time 😂
Bro, that ending, it reminds me of a girl I once had... lovely women. lmao
great tutorial, end took me completely off guard lmao
lol, thanks :D
i didn't know but i was waiting for this video my entire life
Wow thanks :D
The Swastika went dark real quick lmfao
Yeah u skipped a the UV mapping just to make this speedpaint 🤣
Hello PixelicaCG, I'm new to Blender and I don't knwo how to fix this issue. So I have a model that I auto rigged in Blender, But when I go to pose mode and try to animate, some parts of the model, for example "A Crown" does not want to stay on top of the head and just floats in space. How can I fix this?
Your crown is a different mesh from the head right? You can parent the crown to the head bone not with automatic weight paint but directly to head bone. Select the crown, shift select the armature, go to pose mode, select the head bone, control P, select bone. Your are done. That is how to parent even a cap to the head.
erase alpha not workin like in the video in blender 3,3 when I trun it on it only paint black and not erasing anything
were you able to find a solution
I am late to the party, but when I start to pain (for example) the leg, suddenly for no reason parts of his back are also painted, or if I try paint his face, there are weird stripes of color going down his body, what's the issue?
I followed along until the point where we paint at 0:47 and blender doesnt respond for a bit and the paint is just not smooth at all and goes to other parts of the sculpt. Is this because of how I modeled my figure or a step I did wrong in the shading settings?
i really need that
Glad it was helpful :D
idk why, but mine just went invisible in texture paint mode, please help :)
Can the whole thing be baked in a single texture, like a Diffuse/Base/Main/Color texture to be used in Unity?
111 seconds? jeez could you shorten it up a bit? I almost fell asleep
how to paint with existing skin textures in Blender?
the is no MixRBG
use "Mix Color"
thanks for asking dude
It might just say mix now
your videos are so useful, I think they're gonna blow up soon!
Thanks :)
how to save the textures u made?
in the left side of the screen in texture paint tab or uv editing tab, top part you see "image" click on it and save.
1:25 in this video, top left side
not sure what I am doing wrong but the image color keep turning out as black no matter what I've made it - any suggestions?
This the things that I need, thanks pall...
Thank u very much. So helpful
Which image did u use in texture slot
hey a off topic question my body turning black after joining head and body is there a fix for it?
The end is like many VRChat avatar creators XD
Hi thank you for this video. Sorry I am new to Blender, when I want to do the Texture Paint, the paint won't come out and it said "missing UVs detected". How to fix this?
Hey, you probably figured this out by now, but you need to learn UV Mapping. There are lots of quick and long tutorials about this on youtube
@@demyx0067 thank you
If I go to texture mode it just shows a transparent model....
make sure you're in Material View and not Solid view (in Solid only painted parts are visibile)
1:30 = add cute lil tattoos
1:34 = tattoos all round face
Do I need to do it differently if I'm exporting to unity?
As a newbie, this was way too fast and not explaining enough.
E. g. i have a base shading done on the basic / first / original layer, can i still use it and draw on top (to a new layer above)? What's that middle square connecting your layers? Do i need it? I've played this video thrice and still it doesn't help enough. Please, slow down. I wanna learn, not just copy.
how it didn't work for me can u do special 1 cuz u went too fast
tell me what went wrong i'll try to help.
0:48 says "Missing UVs detected" here. Nothing happens, only that error message.
Oops, beginner error. Watched a beginner tutorial on texture painting meanwhile and learned that I needed to make a texture map first.
Still doesn't work. I don't see the texture map that you quickly click away on 0:49. So I went into edit mode, selected all vertices, clicked on UV and generated a map. The result is now that my complete object is transparent. I don't see the underlying base color (on color 1). The error is gone but I can only paint the transparency away.
Really bad tutorial. Especially at the end when he randomly puts another image texture node saying "use that as makeup" without even explaining how to do that.
Any idea how to get this to show up in a render?
Whenever I try to add the makeup layer and add the extra mix and image texture node it goes black and I can only edit the black image. Any ideas?
HOLLY FUCKKKK.. DUDE I'M TOO SPEECHLESS! Thank you wallahy rbna yktr mn amsalak
Thank you but again the speed of the tutorial is too fast, I managed by reducing the speed and muting the sound and you don't have to show for export, next tutorial.
My character becomes invisible when I connect the skin tone map, why does this not happen for you. I cant even see it if i wanted to paint on it as you are
Hi
Great video, it just didn't work for me. Even though I did all the connections exactly as you did, every time I come to paint I can see only the one image. So it happens that when i'm on the skin tone i can't see the shape (because its transparent) until i begun to paint, and the color is not transperent at all. and in the basr color i just end up changing the skin color if i try to paint it.
any idea what went wrong?
Hey, thanks :) the invisible shape always happens when your in solid mode (it shows only what you drew on that layer) switch to material preview (Hold Z and drag down)and it should be fine, i hope it fixes your problem :)
@@PixelicaCG That really helped. and the discovery of the option "strength" helped too:) Thank you very much!
@@PixelicaCG thanks mate i was suffering because of not seeing anything...
loving the humor so much i keep watching all your videos because theyre so fast
Thanks :)
You can also pipe a Multiply node in, between the Skin Tone & MixRGB nodes, to give yourself some opacity control (since you're otherwise just painting & erasing). It's a bit of a brute force method until Blender gets some proper painting tools, but it works. If you really want to go the distance, do that for each individual color -- I think it's worth doing just for the control you get from it, even if the end result is a bit of a mess in the hypergraph.
thank you so much for this, i managed to actually make a realistic looking skin tone
can you make one for dark skin?
yeah, bro... I learned a completely new thing today... thanks for making this video
Now this technique is mine, just kidding, you're brilliant.
Thanks for the amazing tutorial love it when they are short and sweet!
Mine turned out perfect except it shows up in every viewport mode except final render 😭😭
Now I just need to figure gute out how to tie this to the ambient occlusion, Normal map, objects space...😅, I think I'm doing it with you method.
and so how we make the detail to the lip and low roughness ?
This just blew my mind i'm never watching over 20 minutes tutorials again
Bro, you are amazing! Your videos are saving my life in university:D thank you so much!
Tried it. Things I drew on transparent texture are not visible at skin.
Love it.
this lags way too much for me with alpha :(
nice lol
0.49 my whole moddle is just invisible
How the hale I delete or go back like I drew something with a marker or something and it won't let me click and delete
ctrl+z
*THIS DOESN'T WORK WITH FULL BODY MODELS*
The head doesn't seem to show up in the texture paint
"Make sure you don't have to much fun" 😂
man when I do this my whole character is invisible
with his tattoos, this guy does not hold back
why u have nazti sign on her face
I subscribed after saw the ending😂😂😂
Woww that's amazing, however If i wanted to merge all image textures into one image, would that be possible?
Thanks :) i don't know if that's possibe in blender but since the layers are transparent you can just export all of them in png and combine them in photoshop or any other app with few clicks. after that they can be used in unreal or any other game engine you dont have to bring it back to blender if that;s what your looking for.
Thanks a lot.awesome tutorial.keep it up
Can u upload a video on how to animate a hair and fur particles when rigging
bro had a edgy tatto got me like 💀💀
this was ridiculously perfect. thank you
that last shot was wild XD
She looks like Anne Hathaway
wait so i do this after uv unwrapping?
uv unwrapping is basically the first step for getting the model ready for texturing so yes.
Your so good, and so funny!!!!
that is really awosme
u great out of all tut for skin ur method is so easy thanks much
thanks glad it was helpful :)
Short and to the point...just what I needed for a very basic modal Thanks!
Great video!
nice fast and simple thank you
Thank you so much for this
thanks
What a great channel
you're gonna get demonetized bro lol
yeah gotta tone down on the weird stuff :))
This guy is a legend!
That's useful. Thank You :)
Simple and amazing

and failed :(
Hakenkreuz ?! That is not funy
You're right :D was just inserting random symbols to fill the face lol, not that i'm a racist nazi or whatever :D
censored it out :D
Wow, very nice 😁
