My absolute favorite car. The GSF is a work of art!
Some people drool over your Ferraris and Lambos, or maybe an Astin Martin or Bently, but I LOVE Lexus cars. Not only the creature comforts but reliability and a little fire!

I agree, Lexus is the best luxury auto maker, I drive a 2014 GS350 and everything is so stinking silky/comfortable down to the way the door handle fits in your hand as you pull it. Plus the dependability makes it the most luxury that everyday people can own.
yeah why not , people spending lots lots of money on audis lambos Bugattis , how can you spend money on Volkswagen one of the worst car on market. wv makes all those cars.
Yep, some people laugh at Lexus but I don't. They look pretty damn nice these days (and are tweakable in that department), they perform in the right configuration and they go forever. Totally underrated IMHO.
If u like fast n fun sports car, get the rcf! You can buy a used rcf for $40k and gs350 fsports for $40k. Im not paying no $90k for an impractical v8 sedan. Not ideal for racing or drag racing or daily commute or road trips! It burns gas!
The rear seat ash trays are for the Yakuza bosses that will be driven around in this beast.
I was going to be discrete and say back alley executives, but that works, too!
On the flip side, kids will fill them with french fry crusty ends and lol dolls.
They're not for cigarettes. They're little storage pockets lined with fabric.
Or its for your dip shit friends that smoke in the backseat and burn holes in the leather, now they can ash in the ash tray like good boys and girls

There's two greatly underrated things among Japanese car fans, Toyota's v8, and Honda's v6.
Exactly. The Nissan V6 was also ranked by Wards Publication as one of the Top 10 Engines for about 15 straight years. Japanese Engineering.
Nissan & Toyota are the best among jdm
Honda V6 are notorious for having timing chain/belt and cam phaser issues.
You are absolutely correct. I hv a GSF as a daily and a 98 NSX as a weekend car, best combo for me.
Toyota’s N.A V8s, Honda’s N.A V6s and Nissan’s Turbo V6s. The holy trinity of the JDM world.

lol its a beast but 2.25 beans... not exactly what the review says. i totally agree i think the gsf is at least a 4/5. it's definitely underrated and has its own use case. Cruising, GT, canyons and most importantly DAILY!
If I had kids, I'd make them get out of the car to smoke.
What's more impressive than that braking force, is the sustained 1g accelerating through a right hander. Looks like a fun car to drive well.

The closer u get to this car, the more u realize how fantastically built it is.
These will make for fantastic used cars. In a world that will try and switch to turbo V6s around the world to save fuel....these old V8s will be hidden gems.
Just picked up an old gs460 .. idk something about the 00s and its semi fastback design with the lex/toy v8 warms my heart.

W Hoggdoc I gave a 600 whp LSA supercharged SS 4 beans.. takes a lot more than this to earn that high.

Ashtrays like cigarette lighters were used in older cars. For obvious reasons they're not intended for smoking anymore. The ashtrays now are usually used for small things like coins.

this car looks amazing. i still have a 1998 lexus gs 400 and it still holds up well, if i upgrade soon its definitely gonna be a new gs variant, they age so well!

Sarah great review! I clicked so fast my finger got jammed! I have this exact car too. Well it’s actually a V6....... and front wheel drive....... and well it’s not exactly a 2020........ also the badge looks more like a Toyota badge and I guess it’s a little more basic. Okay it’s a 2010 Camry Se V6, but it’s almost the same thing maybe? Eh, whatever I’m depressed now. Deuces.
That Camry will likely be on the road long after this thing’s G-Force meters (really?😅) and huge info screens burn out and is rendered useless.

The GS has always been my favorite Lexus...even loved the 1st Gen, although plenty of people thought that one was kinda "blah" looking. That second Gen tho.... "bites knuckles". But unfortunately I was too young and broke for both of those cars hahaha...the first one debuted my freshman year of high school. I'm not a huge fan of the current styling (it's not terrible) but I'm sure it performs well. Great review.
I’ve seen so many of your videos and you’ll give slow cars say 276 Hp and cars like this Lexus GsF nearly the same 🫘 beans score. What gives? I drove the 2016 GsF last weekend and it’s definitely better than average (which would be 2.5 beans /5). Average would be something more like the Lexus GS350 Or IS350 with 311 hp)

I grew up drag racing yes in a v8 monster and I still say that I don't care how much boost one can shove in a little 4 cyl theres none and never ever will it compare to the rumble of a v8 under the hood , theres no replacement for displacement :)..and for that reason I love this car
I still love my Lexus GSF. Never get tired of it.

Best for what? They have a reputation for reliability, but my only good Japanese cars have been Nissan SUVs. Only Mitsibishi offers a decent warranty. My Toyotas all had weak transmissions that broke relentlessly and outside of the poor warranty. Performance is mediocre. Exhausts are quiet and tame. Power is below average to awful. The only exception is a heavily tuned GT-R which is a monster, but they are generally complete rebuilds.
Lexus cars are weird blends of Sunday driver, economy cars, and GT. They do nothing well.
Sandy I have owned three Toyota’s in my life 2 of them went to 200K miles with no issues and still on the road with other owners. My third one is at 50k miles no issues. I think my experience is more common than yours judging by Toyota’s reputation.
Sandy Lexus is reliable, luxurious, comfortable, and still decently quick if you get a good one.
Japanese and German cars. The best reliability you can get. Stay away from USA brands like GM and
especially 👉F O R D👎

Originally those were ashtrays in the back but they used to be metal. Now they're probably just for gum and candy wrappers for the kids, or midget penguins, or even little puffins. You know they have those up in Alaska and they're like flying potatoes. I actually went deep-sea fishing out of Seward Alaska and they'd skip across the water and they bounce off the side of the boat like flying potatoes.
I'm glad you did a review on the GS F. Definitely going to look into this for my next car

I know this is old, but it is ducted noise. There’s too much sound deadening for a fully natural tone, but not synthetic.
GS-Fs are insanely nice cars. My only complaint is detailing that grille! R.I.P. fingers...

I have a client with a 2016 GSF and every time it comes in, I end up having to remove mineral deposits and bug etchings by hand. Every single little cavity on the grille.

Mynismo08 he’s right about the yakuza in the back seats. These Lexuses were pretty much designed in Japan so it is legal to smoke in the backseat of your car in Japan and in your car.
