I was hoping for a set like this for Kill Team after Octarius. You guys are becoming one of the best Terrain creators in the hobby. I hope you can do some preprinted packages in the future of your completed sets.
I used lots of plastic plants for terrain back in the day. All my tyranid terrain was made by covering things with walnut shells painted glossy black with metallic blue veins.
@EonsOfBattle 1) light coat of PVA/water over all the pink foam, let dry; 2) light spray of Super77 adhesive, wait till it gets to the SUPER TACKY STICK TO EVERYTHING phase; apply Sculptamold. Works 100% of the time, every time.
recently started a Genestealer Cults army to complement my Leviathan box Tyranids, and I found a ton of amazing STLs and am printing it in preparation for a game
Native species tanks are neato, but you might have to look at your local laws on keeping native species in captivity. But, with modern LED lighting, live plants are super easy, and look way better in a fish tank than those plastic plants. Your use here for plastic plants is the best use (unless you have like, African Cichlids who just tear pretty much any plants to shreds).
The lack of tyranid or jungly alien terrain was one of the reasons I'm not planning to buy that big intro box. A few random bunkers is so dissapointing for the theme! Love your efforts
Wow, that's REALLY cool! *_* But the lore nerd in me is raging that this is not (accurate) Tyranid terrain. When the Nids have overrun a planet and start terraforming it, they take ALL biomass. They literally drink the seas. So all those plants would have been absorbed long ago, leaving only barren earth and fleshy growths behind. But that's just a sidenote. I think it fits really well in a jungle environment!
Everyone seems to use Navy Grey, maybe mixed with tenacious for durability - Navy Grey 80%, Tenacious 20% (The tenacious adds a little flexibility to help stop swords etc being brittle). But for terrain I would just use whatever is cheapest 😅
@EonsOfBattle which Siraya Tech Resin are you using? I am wanting to print a model with a bunch of tentacles so I need some flex and to reduce how brittle it is. I use a Saturn 2.
We had a 100 gallon native Missouri fish tank in my house in collage sourced with fish we just yoinked out of local streams. Kinda a d*ck move towards the fish in retrospect, but still really cool.
Hey, Jay! I want to ask you question! How do you think is it possible to make a fully movable warhammer miniature in tabletop scale? Like 3d print all the parts and make them with with special grooves to insert components, so the whole miniature can move, how do you think?
Tyranids dont have colonies, they consume any world they find and move on. Except for hive fleet Tiamet which have set up shop on a planet and are growing this continent sized organic structure and they farm the other worlds for biomass to grow it.

Will Patreon supporters get their files on MMF as well? I really hate Tribes ^^
this is the type of terrain that should've came with the biggest starter box for 10th. i love it!
I agree, GW terrain lacks a lot of imagination! More xenos terrain would be so awesome
I was so hoping we'd get terrain of the Marines embedded in Tyranid growths that they showed in the release trailer
Genuinely cracks me up that in every one of these board builds Jay finds a way to draw a... Phallic structure 😂
One day I will be able to print that awesome terrain that Nick created
A Wisconsin themed fish tank would be awesome. My mom used to have a Minnesota themed fish tank when she taught biology
Jay your BALLS are SMOKIN! very nice build, loving the videos, Keep going!

that would be great!!!!
new to the channel and your energy is infectious! Got me sitting down to paint after a many month lack of inspiration fueled lull. Ty
hi
your content really makes my day thank you
Never thought on see sticky veiny balls in a warhammer terrain video but I'm here for it.
I’m a simple man. I see EonsOfBattle, and I: like, comment, and subscribe.
4:35 XD amazing terrain man! looks great
That looks amazing - great job on the sculpts and the painting/modeling - I’m painting my own nids as Behemoth and this is inspirational
2:32 I see what you did there
Was looking for this! 😂😂
Immediately came to the comments
Your sticky veiny balls are fabulous, well done!!
Fnurk koo-ark!
(unless you're a certain age and from the UK, I can only apologise. IYKYK)
Fantastic work I love it!!!
I swear the fucking DAY I get a fdm printer I'm subscribing
Jay in a battlemat coat ❤. You guys know what we want to see. Absolute crowd pleaser.
I used lots of plastic plants for terrain back in the day. All my tyranid terrain was made by covering things with walnut shells painted glossy black with metallic blue veins.
My favorite terrain you've done on the channel
What a fantastic looking table.
This is the best terrain. Just awesome. ❤
I dont think terrain of any kind can stop the unstoppable tide of Sean
New to the channel and Warhammer. Really enjoying your video thanks
Awesome work man, looks great 👍
Thanks for an amazing vid 🙏💪😃
Uhg, we're going to need a whole company of demolishers and hellhounds to clean up this mess.
Great work I love it. Everything works so well.
I love it. I'm the only tyranid player at my RTT. I'd love to have some Tyranid terrain
Looks fantastic, and at the end the tangerine marines also look great as intruders in this environment
Amazing job!!!🎉🎉

this looks great jay!
recently started a Genestealer Cults army to complement my Leviathan box Tyranids, and I found a ton of amazing STLs and am printing it in preparation for a game
Amazing. Great work!
Great stuff friend 👏 👍
i would love to see a battle report from these guys
thats a great result of your work, i like it a lot! goddamn you gotta do a battlerep with it, would love to see it used :D nice work!
9:02 I didn't know Jay was a Jedi, lookin' good in camo robes - I'm sure the Empire will never find him now...
Dude, you should totally do a leviathan battle report on this board, it would be totally legendary.
Awesome painting guide!
Saw a really cool one recently using a plastic bag and melting it to make organic looking base
Love to see this type of organic terrain used for boarding actions or space hulk
Amazing work!!
Fantastic terrain! 🤩
Those balls are lovely. Thanks gents!! Fantastic as always!!!
you know what would be sick. Boarding action terrain inside a tyrranid bioship
The sticky balls return. If you know you know
With all the balls, this video should have been sponsored by Manscaped.
😂😂😂awsome man
Omg, this looks epic
Love a good tenacious glue
Lovely! Now the question is... Where is the basing videos for those awesome behemot tyranids?!
I'm curious why you don't use clump foliage to spread around the board to add some divison

Makes me think of the Battlefront 2 map Felucia - cool!
Must be super expensive printing those in Siraya tech! 1 kg of it here in Norway costs about 90 usd.
Lol Jay and his terrain video Easter eggs XD
You guys need to make a terrain/dice tower combo thingie.
I never had an issue with Sculptamold sticking to foam. It looks like you may have mixed it slightly too dry?
4:36 Just gonna clip that for future use.
Absolutely astonishing, nothing mroe to say here
holy shit that turned out great
Where did you get the two pronged red thing you're cutting the foam with? Is it a hot knife or just a wire, like a cheese cutter?
The lack of tyranid or jungly alien terrain was one of the reasons I'm not planning to buy that big intro box. A few random bunkers is so dissapointing for the theme! Love your efforts
very cool video MORE MORE MOREEEEE!°!°!
You mention you are in WI! What hobby shop is your go to? I am having a hard time finding good ones in my area (southern WI)
Those are great looking balls, Jay

So what siraya tech resin would you recommend for miniatures?

I was just watching the Leviathan box in 5 days vid and this came up :D
do battle reports. I for one would love to see it.
Jay I’ve got 5 aquariums in my hobby room where I paint and such. All real plants in my tanks though, no fake plants….. yeah I got a few hobbies lol.
Christ bless you, so AWESOME!!!!
Oooh I made "3D Printed" terrain better than GW. I thought this was a scratch build video. My bad you got me😂👍
Epic!
Lmao Jay and his spicy video titles
Try the PVA and superglue combo for some fleshy looking gross effects
Freaking love it ❤
That Touraine sick
I really wanna see you play a game on this board for a video
still waiting for those battle reports guys!
If you watch some parts of the video with only listening to the audio…some parts are kinda misleading 😂
YES! Power tools!!
Cool looking terrain. From an in world perspective would the tyranids have colonies? They seem to only live to eat
Tyranids dont have colonies, they consume any world they find and move on. Except for hive fleet Tiamet which have set up shop on a planet and are growing this continent sized organic structure and they farm the other worlds for biomass to grow it.
Well, I’m afraid that “speaking of nerdy, it’s time for the buttholes” is now going to be part of my lexicon… 😆😆😆 Excellent paint, as well!!! Haha!
Should use Mod Podge o the foam
can those be printed on a 6 inch resin printer?
I'm commenting to let you know that a lot of people would like an in depth tutorial of your Black Templar painting and basing scheme.
So not having a printer, is there anyone licensed with your stuff to print it out for us? Or is it one print yourself at the moment??
@2:32 naughty naughty
good morning eob
No dermal sphincters, a la Advanced Space Crusade?
Doing something better than GW is a pretty low bar. Regardless, the terrain looks awesome!
i want to see mr pickle in every video from now on please
Great seeing some balls being plastered over😂
by the four armed emperor i need these!!!!!
Take a rock and a kitchen knife to rough up terrain foam.
I would like to confirm that I did not look you in the eyes and tell you what you suggested I tell you ( 4:36 )... for reasons lol
