Well what if Mythra's kid wasn't "awakened" for the world of Aionios. A plethora of character, for example Linka, have confirmed the possibility of some people not being in Aionios for a reason.
Yeah that could definitely be it, or they were just somewhere else in the world caught up in the war effort, bunch of reasons as to why we havn't seen them

If Mio resembles Nia and Glimmer resembles Pyra/Mythra/Pneuma, then Mythra's kid should be a son that resembles Rex. And if it's another daughter, give her Beta Pyra's hair.
I'd do anything to see Beta Pyras hair officially in-game, and not as a mod

Sadly, we know via lore that core crystal takes DNA priority, so no matter the gender. The child will resemble Mythra more then Rex.
@@lukestarford7608 You say that and yet Ghondor didn't come out looking similar to Mio when he was born. I think the core crystal dominance thing is more so just being born with one rather than actually looking similar to the core crystal parent.
But I did also realize that because the Pneuma core is primarily the female persona of the trinity processor that might also affect the gender of the child too.
Given Mio and Glimmer, Frank should also play an instrument of some kind as well
Omgggg yes that would be awesome. Although I’m trying to think of what it’d be now. A sax? Drums? We already got a woodwind and a string instrument, so I’m trying to think of a different type. Piano is technically a string instrument but it’s a special case in that way, and I’d love for them to whip out a keytar

There's also the possibility of them going "Surprise, there's one more free DLC for 3, and you can play it right now! Featuring, Frank's story, and everyone getting together again for a small, tie-all-the-loose-ends kinda epilogue-adventure!"
5:45 i mean literally the name of the DLC is FUTURE redeemed, and one of the main themes of xeno is to not be afraid of the future and to move on into it. it would make no sense if we don't get the future that was feared enough to create moebius.
There is the sence after Glimmer and Nikol beat Shulk and Rex where it is confirmed they are the kids parents.
A calls them as such and Rex even says he will not allow a child to die before there parents
I’ve seen plenty of people suggest that Mythras kid is a son that she named Milton and I completely agree with that idea. To an extent Milton is the one who changed Mythras views on the world and the beings who lived in it. That and with how Torna ended, perhaps mythra would see naming her child Milton as a way to atone for the mistakes she made in the past one more time
Assuming Mythra's kid is not someone shown already and is a boy, I have a strong feeling she would've named him Milton (or maybe spell it slightly differently like Mylton or something like that so they're not the exact same name) given the ending of Torna

I think that "Frank" is going to appear, it'll be that it's because they outlived their siblings long enough to have influence on the world and the people of the new world fashioned the Zohar after the core in rememberance of them.
I don't think Mythra's kid was revealed in the base game. People who say its Dirk are dumb, not only because of the eye color, but also because if Mythras son turned out to be evil she might just construct another self. I mean, its her entire arc not to live in fear of herself, then she goes and creates a monster!
Anyways, I really hope we get to see Mythras kid in the next Xenoblade game (or the Xeno game after the Saga remake) because that would be so cool.

His eyes aren’t red as depicted in his official art, they’re more of a amber color in game if you look at the eye color in his model. Also I’ve seen other people say that Dirk being the way he is ruins Mythra’s character arc, but I don’t get it. None of the child soldiers in Aionios are influenced by their upbringing or memories from the old world; they’re clones with basic data and trained to fight up until moment until birth. If he’s her child, Mythra didn’t raise Dirk any more than Pyra raised Glimmer or how Nia raised Mio. War is brutal too, it’s no wonder why the dehumanizing effects of war caused Dirk to snap. Maybe he managed to remember some of his past lives over time, he describes his past memories as transcendent when he becomes Moebius but how do we know if the same applies to every single one of his past lives? Aionios has been going on for over 1000+ years, I think other soldiers snapped at some point (similar to Ashera as she started remembering her past lives and the entirety of Colony 11). N can also apply here too, just look what sweet Noah became until he split
We don't even know when Mythra died, or how long into Aionios's timeline Future Redeemed takes place. There's more than enough wiggle room for Dirk, if he is the missing child, to have lived countless lives & have his Moebius incarnation be reviled. Noah himself led many lives, but different circumstances bred different personalities. The same argument can be made for Dirk, and his psychotic Moebius incarnation acts as the perfect antithesis to Mythra's guilt-ridden personality.
There is concept art in the art book of what the founders were originally going to be with a rex-clone wielding the monado rex ex+. There is also a blond kid that could be mythra's kid
Based on track record, the fact that everyone is joking about it being Dirk means Monolith might just make it that to troll us.

I think that Gigachad Rex was intended from the beggining, the New Game Plus screen and XC1 had a polygamy ring without no gameplay functionality as a rare item
Rex did say that in terms of Hereditary traits Blades get priority. So Dirk would not work since he has red eyes while Mythra has yellow.
I figured he meant in terms of being blades/getting core crystals.
@@joelsasmad That’s what he meant, in that scene he’s talking about how Alpha was able to possess Na’el because of her core + Agnian ancestry since nearly all Agnians have core crystals. Sons can tend to look more like their fathers and Dirk’s face is very similar to Rex’s
"Frank" will probably be the XC4 protagonist. If Frank is Xenoblade for party member that's not the protagonist then I think that they would have shown him off because Glimmer and Mio are both definitely going to be back in future.

I think Alexandria is unlikely to be Mythra's kid. Her hair is pure brown and we know Mythra's kind has blonde hair. And Alexandria's core crystal is star shaped with four points (although it is green).
I think Mythra's kid will be a completely new character in Xenoblade 4. Either the main character, the main heroine or an important party member.
But if Mythra's kid is someone we've seen before, I think Isurd is the most likely. His hair is kinda a mix of blonde and brown/grey and his weapons are light-based. His personality also contrasts with Mythra's like how Pyra and Nia's personalities contrast with Glimmer and Mio respectively.

This is so weird to me. Why would they leave out the child of Mythra? It doesn't add up unless they're "saving" the child for a future game, which wouldn't make sense to me since the Klaus trilogy is wrapped up now.
Honestly? Cause they only needed one kid to tell Rex's father storyline. It's implied that Rex would care for Mythra's kid the same way.
Also, two kids is redundant and would mean less screen time for Glimmer and thus make their interactions/relationship a bit more shallow. Kinda like how Panacea and Linka got shafted even though they were very important to Shulk and Rex. Or like how they were with the party most of the game although it felt like they weren't there at all.
Maybe if Future Redeemed was a full game and not a dlc expansion they could have room to flesh out another kid out.
klaus saga is over means that klaus and his world will probably be irrelevant to the plot ,next xeno game might have old characters but they wont matter as much or might be used as plot fodder
XC4 I’ve had a lot of ideas of. It could just straight up be Kos-Mos the game and just reconnecting the original world with all the new universe, but it could be mythra son doing it(to resemble Rex obvi). Since there were a lot of contingency plans throughout the creation of origin it might be possible that the reason why Mythra and Pyra weren’t present was to help so the kid could restart origin or smt and awaken everyone, maybe they also found Kos-Mos and were helping repair her to help their kid as well on his journey
Maybe but I think KOS-MOS was only able to find Earth at the end (assuming that’s her, but come on, of course it is) bc the worlds popped out of their pocket dimensions and merged back together into earth into the original universe. KOS-MOS and other Xenosaga characters had no idea about the pocket dimensions the earth was split into

Mythra's kid is that Agnian soldier that looks a bit like Rex that dies in the intro of 3. Hard to spot, but rewatch and you'll see what I mean.

I still find the idea of Noah managing to inadvertently flip to Alrest and suddenly dropping in on top of Mio in the middle of breakfast could be hilarious. Just young Mio seemingly managing to develop the ability to summon a boyfriend, and all the sass and joking that could be made regarding that by Nia, Mythra or Mio's Sisters :D
I've always been a proponent of the "Alexandria is Mythra's daughter" theory (from well before we knew Glimmer had an Aegis-shaped core crystal), but it does require taking a few details on faith because of the known differences. The hair colour would have to be either darkening with age (plausible but not confirmed) or hair dye (only applicable because of Alexandria's known use of cosmetics to increase her credibility in the eyes of others). The core crystal... well, it's not the Aegis core that Glimmer has. Though the shape is surprisingly close to the Aegises' earrings, and it's still definitely a shade of green.
But there's a whole bunch of other details that support the theory:
- The Collectopedia Network and all the data analysis it entails... well, you could say that's an Aegis-like supercomputer ability. Her trademark cube interface for the system that she uses has a more definite Aegis-like colouration to it.
- She's a definite Light Blade, with one of her idle animations having her create the image of an Ouroboros ring before dismissing it with a playful wink.
- Several of her traits make her look like a sort of polar opposite to Glimmer, especially when looked at through the lens of considering Pyra & Mythra as "two sides of the same coin".
To put it simply, Alexandria *ACTS* like she's Mythra's kid with what might be the most Aegis-like abilities despite the fact the physical traits aren't lining up. If she isn't Mythra's kid, there's a huge question of who or what exactly she is, because that makes all of her other traits and abilities even more suspicious if she has no relation to the Aegis.
Nevertheless, there's always the possibility of a new character appearing out of nowhere being Mythra's kid, which would up-end all theories that suggest that they're someone already present in XC3... though we can point out that with Glimmer technically being in the base game (even if just as a statue), the argument can be made that they're probably already there. For them to not be a major character and still appear? Well, that's just as improbable as them not appearing at all. Monolithsoft likes their foreshadowing and leaving breadcrumbs for fans to find. Heck, I was actually expecting Future Redeemed to settle this particular quandary, and was surprised when they didn't.
We'll find out who Mythra's kid is eventually, and the probability of them being a major character in the inevitable XC4 are quite high at this point. Or just maybe, a bit sooner if there's any sort of content in the handful of patches still planned for XC3; like whatever the conditions are to unlocking the Aegis swords without amiibos. Still, this is a mystery that appears to have been left open for a reason; the answer will come out eventually.
Mythra's kid being absent is fine with me. Just means they didnt feel like shoving them in for no reason.
If it were up to me though I would have thrown him in as a hero in the main game. Maybe make him the Owain(Fire Emblem) of this game, the blonde soldier with the chunni personality as a nod to Zeke and XC2's goofyness in general.
Frank will be the main character in Xenoblade 4 and he will be a archaeologist. The story will revolve around tech he dug up which happens to be KOS-MOS unfortunately because of the nature of the worlds merging again everyone is displaced and it will be a quest to find his mother while investigating the technology that makes KOS-MOS tick.
I think Alexandria is mythra’s kid. She does resemble pyra is her personality. And she has that core crystal in her forehead
I'd think it's not impossible for Frank's death/dissaperance to be a motivation in XC4, but poor Mythra can't take anymore emotional damage. She'll turn into a new version of Melia... I just realized they have the same first letter... oh no.... xD

There is a reason Mio and Glimer are they way they are no matter how many times they comeback they turn int other same person personality wise. seen how Glimmer is more like Mytra and would guess Mytra kid would have a name related to light and her personality would be similar to that of Pyra

I mean her raising him wouldn't be a factor if he was reborn in aionios. Same way M does not seem to remember Nia is her mom. In the original world he might have been a perfectly good kid for all we know but stipping away all his expiriences and forcing him into a life of war broke him.
None of the kids in the cycle were raised by their parents. Their personalities are shaped by their experiences as soldiers. Things like their hardships and bonds seen in the main game like Mio/Miyabi, Lanz/Joran, Noah/Crys, Noah vs N, etc.

If is a girl, have the same think but she is the tallest, flattest and adopted Nia’s cute dance or Mythra’s dance from the tantal side quest with Kora, girl power off, her weapon being twin Tonfa and maraca’s, the heads of which she stuffs down her shirt cus she is insecure about not being as well endowed as her mom. XD Oh, there is also a really good theory that Alexandria is Mythra’s kid, I’ll have to find you a link to it.

I still stand by my theory that Glimmer is actually the fusion of Mythra and Pyra's kids. She looks like Pneuma, has Pyra's hair color, and acts like Mythra. Besides, Linka says that Glimmer looks like "them" and not "her".

He'll be missing an eye because of certain chad taking giving him (and his sisters) a front row seat of him fighting a super boss because why not when he was idk 2-6 years old
I want to see him as the main villain. Maybe not like the final boss kind but more like an N kind if it makes since. My idea of his motivation is that during the events if 3 he wasn't physically apart of the world and was one with origin. My idea is that he had a spiritual conection with everyone and felt their suffering. Overwhelmed by all of this he went mad begging it all to end. After the events of 3 and worlds restored he secretly left his previous life and planted false memories of himself tricking them something tragic happened. He actually gained power during his time as origin. His plan is destory all of creation since to him that's the only way there'll ever be peace. He'll do this by recreating the trinity processor.
You'll be able to play as him after completing the main game.
His class will be referred as knightlight (it's ok to judge)
He'll be an attacker. His wepon being similar to his mothers sword and of course use light magic but also dark.

I like the Dirk theory as a meme/actual theory since it’s interesting and there’s a lot of funny coincidences behind it. Technically all of the kids were shown in the base game (Mio, Glimmer’s statue, Dirk) and each represent the “scale” of Aionios + how it affects Rex’s kids. Glimmer is an Ouroboros, Mio is half and half, Dirk is Moebius. But theorizing aside nobody knows

I like the idea of Frank being like melia/nia. The party has heard of this important charecter and the player wants to meet them desperately (Like Zanza, Amalthus and the queens) but they arent introduced until just after the halfway point. And finally when you see them for the first time, the camera pans to reveal blond hair and an emerald core crystal
As someone who likes Mythra the most out of the two of them I feel a bit shafted

I have a few questions about Dirk
1. Why is his title blackblaze and is it different or similar to the jp one?
2. What was the purpose of us seeing his face and learning his name? as other than killimg Eunie in his moebius form there is no connection we see K's to learn that moebius can live longer than the reson of the people and we doent even learn about Dirk's backstory until ch6 when we was his face in ch4
3. If we can accept that due to xc2 stating that rex and pyra/mythra share data with each other via the core crystal is it hard to believe that the red eyes was due to mythra and pyra being sisters? Also if we agree on Glimmer having something silimar to Mythra's personality
4. If in one life Noah could have gotten both himself and his Mio killed in a blizzard and another where he was an off seer that deeply cared for the lives of others couldn't Dirk have had different, for the lack of a better term, personalities over who knows how many lives?
Soem many question that points in q3 and 4 contradict each other but we know that somethings stay the same over lives like Mio making a pot of food in the morning or Noah forgeting how much time he has left (eunie had to remind the noah we play as that the day they fought Garvel's group as kids was his birthday and N ran out of time before he could take his son ghondor to the place they were walking to) so somethings will stay the same while others may change
Local Dirk fan here, I’ll try to answer these. Bear with me since it’s long lmao
1. There’s no reason behind it but it could be a nod to him blazing like a flame on the battlefield, blaze is associated with the Aegises and Black is the opposite of light. Dirk also sounds like “Dark”, but that’s a stretch. From what I can tell in Japanese they use “Black Flame Dirk” which is basically the same thing
2. He’s one of the most prominent Moebius in the story, as he’s the very first one you encounter. It makes sense for the party to find out about who he is at some point. However, he’s one of the most important Moebius without an “origin” (N is Noah, M is Mio, Joran was his childhood friend back on Bionis, X/Y/Z are true Moebius). There was a scrapped concept design of child Mio in the artbook which makes me think a little Dirk and Glimmer could’ve appeared alongside her but was ultimately scrapped. Also since DJ is supposed to be the Metal Face of 3 and Mumkhar was the vengeful friend who betrayed you it seems plausible for two halves of DJ to make up for Metal Face. Joran is important to Noah’s life, Dirk could be the same to Mio’s
3. A common misconception is that his eyes are red, they only appear red in his official art but they’re more of an amber shade in game. I looked at his textures and his eyes have bits of light orange in them. Like you said it could possibly be an inherited trait from Pyra considering they share core dna but it’s also possible for him to potentially inherit the eye color of Rex’s ancestors. People throw genetics out the window when theorizing though, Rex says core crystals get dominance but dominant doesn’t always mean guaranteed. Besides, look at Ghondor and Matthew while Na’el inherits a lot of Mio’s traits. And Dirk is snarky like Nia at points but I think the kids should develop their own personalities instead of being based entirely off of one parent. For example I don’t see how Mio acts like Pyra, sure she’s nice but she reminds me more of when Nia confessed to Rex
4. Past lives are complicated in 3, a very small amount of people are the same way they are in their following lives but how do we really know if that applies to every single one of their lives from the past 1000+ years of Aionios? War is dehumanizing and it’s likely for soldiers to have snapped at some point, take Ashera and Dirk for example. Dirk was said to have snapped and it’s possible he could’ve remembered things from his past lives or the effects of war broke him. D describes his past memories as transcendent but it looks like his flashback takes place in one of his lives considering it’s just shots of him on the same battlefield. Besides, these are child soldiers that are clones and with no concepts of family + nurture dropped into the cycle, they only know training and how to kill. People say that Dirk being crazy undermines Mythra’s character arc but I don’t see it, she didn’t have a hand in raising him in Aionios. A Dirk being raised by his family and a Dirk being raised by the aspects of war are different people. Mythra had a hand in raising Dirk just as much as Nia did with Mio or Pyra did with Glimmer. And I’m honestly baffled at how people think the Alexandria theory has credibility, she doesn’t have the Aegis core and it only bears a small resemblance to the stars on the Aegises designs (besides, why would you inherit earring shapes? This is fiction but this is absolutely ridiculous). I even saw someone say it also has a chance of not being a core, her core has a golden border around it which other Agnians/blades don’t have and it doesn’t glow in certain areas. Even Dirk has more credible evidence than her
@@reef-lux450 yeah did people forget that blades can just unsummon their clothes if they want to with the biggest example being pyra and mythra themselves was the core almost always looks like it's above the clothes be we see that they do have skin where the missing part of the crystal was just like how blades can make new versions of their weapons or summon it xc3 style based of of torna's battle system
Contrary to what most theories out there say, I think Mythra’s kid would be a daughter that would either resemble Pneuma’s appearance as well like Glimmer, or a slightly different version of Mythra’s design. Anyway, Frank for the win!
A couple of things:
First: I think the ending of XC3 and FR not only teases Xenoblade 4, but also a potential remake of Xenosaga and Xenogears, since the ending of FR is similar to the ending of Xenosaga. A Xenoblade X remake would be dope too. Finally putting a good game (or so I've heard) on a console that didn't fail miserably.
Second: In my headcanon, I would make Mythra's kid the true heir to the Aegis. My name for him would be Anueos (the male Aegises only have o's in their name, while the other has every other vowel except for i. Combining those two makes sense) and he would be the polar opposite of Glimmer (Glimmer has Pyra's looks and Mythra's attitude, while Anueos would have Mythra's looks and Pyra's attitude). His mother would not just be Mythra, but Pneuma herself, and gain the true power of the Aegis with it.
Third: I would not be surprised to see Mythra's child appear in Xenoblade 4 or the next Xeno game. I would also not be surprised to see an elderly Shulk and Rex in there, with Rex and KOS-MOS conversing on their Alrestian adventures while Shulk looks at them confused.
I was thinking about about making the male kid the heir of Logos as we know somhow that power made its way into Aionos dispute its user dying.
My theory is that when Malos died the left over remains of his data was absorbed into the Pnuema core crystal this is why they could hear his voice at the end.
Seeing thag Logos is the male aspect of the Trinity processor it can only be reborn in a male form so when Mythra had a son he used the kids core crystal to recreate his core crystal.
This could explain why the logos power found N because he was in love and protecting Mio so teh kid wanted to help keep his sister safe so give N his powers and bonded with him.

And for dirk is in his blackblaze name.. IDK why they want to hide where Mythra child is or just joking around because Mythra is like that.. But surely they have idea with them later on if they didn't forget they exist.. Maybe in the next installment we will knew..

I have a few theories we already know Mio and Glimmer kids are, but I think Cyrus might be Rex's and Myra kid but he's pretending to be a normal Soldier and the flashback it shows him not aging. at first I thought he was being reborn over and over again. But remember Teacher pretended to be a soldier even though he's definitely over10 terms cuz in his previous Colony Kai he was a commander but for some reason he survived that war and still lives.
My theory is Cyrus is pretending to be a soldier to blend in and help the soldiers that keep dying cuz he's the one that came up with the whole using a flute the cause the soldiers to turned into light to be reborn over and over again.

First off: Alexandria, defintely Zeke and Pandoria's kid. Who said they only had one? The hair color is brown just like Zeke's father. She has green eyes like Pandoria. Even her entrance in the game is quite similiar to Zeke but then you notice she is kind even has the girly side like Pandoria.
Now to my crack point. Barely any ebidence but here we go: Frank is Irma/Moebius I. She is blond and has those characteristic golden, gradient eyes. Yeah her hair is darker, but so was Glimmer's compared to Pyra.

My understanding with Mumkhar at the end of the game is that since you were inside Zanza's memory space a few of the enemies in your journey(when Zanza was still inside Shulk) were recreated there.
Mythra's kid has blond hair and some sort of birthmark on their forehead. That eliminates both Dirk and Alexandria. Mythra's kid simply didn't show up.

I could see that, I still lean towards the idea that we are getting Saga remasters/remakes anyways, so I could see them just doing a game like that, only question would be if they could get the go ahead from Bandai Namco
@@JMulls Yeah, Xenosaga has totally been canonized by Future Redeemed - whether as retconned rereleases or full-on rewritten, remade retellings, only time can tell for sure. However, in my view, due to the necessary Xenosaga retcons and the genre difference I expect Xenoblade to not simply rerelease or remaster Xenosaga before Xenoblade 4, but to remake Saga AS Xenoblade 4 before doing what we all previously imagined 4 would be in the form of Xenoblade 5. That seems like the play to accomplish all goals in one - player accessibility and interest, bringing out Xenosaga's full potential and undoing the damage inflicted by the original corporate meddling, and fixing the remaining continuity issues, like the stuff with Grimoire Verum.

Yeah I agree Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was amazing but it felt unfinished if they leave it that way and never tell a continuation then people are going to be pissed myself including.
Don't get me wrong loved the game but hated the ending.
I went in excited but left dissatisfied and let down.
I felt similarly when I first beat 3, but the more I thought about it, the more convinced I became that there will be a continuation at some point and I think 3's ending works in that context, at least for me

I believe Xenoblade 4 will be the REAL last time we see the all the characters. Considering 4 would be the beginning of a new saga, my guess is that it would focus on either the two worlds coming together or *possibly* KOS-MOS coming back after they're one again, they'll introduce the main theme for the next games, and they'll leave all the cast with some kind of happy or at least satisfying conclusion, with the 5th to whatever number games taking place in the far far future.
But hey I'm not Takahashi, so I may know crap, it's just a theory.
I kind of agree, I think we get one more game trying to preserve this new world or something and it ends with one last photo of all the casts reunited... maybe we then get a big timeskip or something afterwards
I feel like that's something they'd leave to a Xenoblade Warriors with a fun little complementary or "what if" story to the trilogy that'll give fans the extra little details and interactions they wanted for all the other characters.

We don't see the core cristal on the Mobius body. And according to a comment in a video animation about mother day with Glimmer saying a poem to Pyra (really specific I know) Dirk called Mio SuuSuu in japanese whitch is for sister.
However the eye colors don't match to Rex's or Mythra's.

I'm fairly certain Glimmer is the only child of Rex and the original Nikol was temporarily in the care of Rex. I don't know the circumstances that lead to it, but Mio and the baby held by Mythra do not fit the mold as Agnian genetics go.

Pyra has red hair, red eyes
Glimmer has auburn hair, orange eyes
Brown+red=auburn
Yellow+red=orange
Zeke and Pandoria have Linka.
Grey only effects the shade of the color it's mixed with as it is not in itself a color. Linka has light green hair, mixing dark green with grey.
Mio and Noah's kid has green eyes. Noah has blue, Mio has yellow, yellow and blue makes green.
Kevesies are more self explanatory since they just look like the parent.

There's a mssing, unmentioned blond kid. A scene that unambiguously confirms Rex and Shulk witnessed the upbringing of both Glimmer and Nikol. Rex is a trusted ally of Shulk. We don't know when the photo was taken or circumstances around it. And now we have a blond kid of the same age as Glimmer who was raised with her.
I don't think it would be in character for Rex to never mention his other kids when the story is literally about family relationships. All the pueces suggest it's Nikol and the only evidence against it boils down to Rex's position in a photo, which is absurd since he can be paternal and not a biological father.
The only baby with clearly different hair from the woman holding it is the one held by Pyra.
In my opinion the mental gymnastics here are ridiculous and also makes it seem like you don’t know basic info about what the base game told us. This photo takes place in Alrest before the worlds were fused and years before they even knew the world would fuse. Nia and Melia were already in their XC3 designs when they started prepping for the merge happening(in the photo Nia still has her XC2 design) Rex literally could not have met Shulk at the time of this photo. Likewise saying it’s out of character for Rex not to mention his other kids isn’t a good argument. Rex doesn’t even name drop Pyra or Mythra individually. Does it mean he doesn’t care? Not at all he just doesn’t say their names. He didn’t even know he would see Glimmer in the cycle of Aionios so him not mentioning Mio or his kid with Mythra makes sense he likely doesn’t know if they are in the cycle or their souls are in Origin. Rex is the father of the three babies it makes no sense to show three of Rex’s potential love interests from XC2 positioned in a family photo with him(all having babies) if it wasn’t implying that they weren’t his kids.
@JDT No, the photo happened before the fight with Alpha. We do not know at what point that occurred with regards to the photo.
And it makes less sense for them to show the three, introduce two, and make no kind of indication on the remaining one while explicitly having Shulk say he never expected to "see them grow like this again." "Them". Plural. Both of them. Rex concurs. Again, in response to the plural reference to both Glimmer and Nikol.
If we assume the kid is not Nikol, it does not explain how Rex and Mythra had a kid with the same hair color as Mythra. Brown+blond=/=the same shade of blond.
@@HunchbackOfNotreJon Yes we literally do know the photo takes long before Aionios happens and the communication between worlds. Even if you don’t think Mio is Rex’s daughter(she is) she is definitely Nia’s daughter. What’s important about this is Mio and Noah are shown to be around the same age with Mio being older. We know for a fact that Noah was around 10 years old when Aionios first happened(the intro and ending of the game shows this) meaning the photo would have to be around decade or so before the events of Aionios. I say this because Mio would have to be a 10+ year old child at that point, not a literal baby. This is exactly why we see Melia and Nia in their XC3 designs when talking about Origin and prepping for the collision. They show us this. Nia in the photo is in her XC2 design still meaning it was before the merge. So there, two major things that prove the photo was before the merge. As for why Shulk says “see them” he’s saying it to include Rex as they are both seeing their RESPECTIVE children grow up again. Also another glaring hole in your argument. If Rex looked after Nikol you would think that he wouldn’t be surprised when Linka implies that Nikol is Shulk’s child. He expressed shock. This is after already interacting with both Glimmer and Nickol a few times. He only has a reaction to seeing Glimmer at first and no reaction to seeing Nickol.
@JDT While I'll concede to the Nikol point for the time being, as I'm not 100% certain we have a full grasp on how time even functions in Aionios but haven't come to a firm conclusion yet, I don’t believe there's any room to believe Rex is the father of all three when two break the established rules of genetic inheritance.
@@HunchbackOfNotreJon your genetics argument is easily the weakest argument for your point. The hair argument doesn’t matter it’s anime the genetics do not need to adhere to any specific rules. The fact that Na’el takes after Mio so much to the point she has cat ears and the same core crystal despite M’s great granddaughter should show you that the genetics aren’t that serious to consider. If anything the M/N family tree shows that the girls end up looking much like their mother/grandmothers while the boys ended up looking like some variation of their father. Which could explain why all Rex’s children would look way more like their mothers(we don’t know Mythra’s kid’s gender) but either way it’s just a nonsensical argument. There is way more evidence as to why it could be his kids then not.
Just think logically all three girls had feelings for Rex and while Rex’s feelings for Nia admittedly read as platonic in XC2, Rex DEFINITELY was crushing on Mythra in the same way he was for Pyra. He loved them BOTH and Zeke even said Pneuma(the combination of both) was the woman he loved. So him choosing one over the other makes even less sense. I mean we even get the cutscene in Elysium that shows the two would be very comfortable living with Rex together. Him choosing to be with both of them makes sense from a story standpoint and a marketing standpoint(so they don’t piss any side off by showing favoritism) Likewise Rex could have simply realized his feelings for Nia too. There is a post-battle line where Rex is about to address Nia’s feelings but she cuts him off laughs and says they can talk about it later.
The composition of the photo speaks for itself. Visual story telling has been a thing forever and there would be no reason for the photo if it wasn’t meaning what it was implying. Rex and the three women who all love him, have babies at forefront of the photo. They are all the main focal point while their friends are off to the side. It’s incredibly obvious what’s being implied.

Glimmer isn't actually rex and Pyra's daughter specifically, Glimmer is made from the Data within Origin [all those in the cycle are].
It's more than likely a mix between, Himself, Pyra and Mythra respectively or just Pyra and Mythra, hence why Linka says, "she even looks like them!" Not, "looks like her!"
