Thank you for the video cause I had no idea how to hide the cords and I didn’t want to pay someone. I’ve been delaying putting it on cause of this thank you
My instructions clearly state to first format the SD card that comes with it BEFORE turning on the camera. I never found that feature and I see you did not do that in your installation. Is that step unnecessary or did you format it prior to you starting this video?
I actually did not perform a format, but haven't had any issues and have been able to access all recordings. Although, a fresh format couldn't hurt! :)
I took my vehicle out for drive to test Boogiio dash cam, came back and put the 32 gb card in its USB that came with camera and when viewed it was unrecognized lines and static but it was from my drive, any thoughts or input?
Not yet, but I definitely should create something. This one isn’t fancy like the others that you can pair a smartphone to, and you’ll need to put the MicroSD card into a computer to view the footage
Wow, I have not had that error yet, and I drive a lot! It should be able to record over the oldest footage automatically. Let me try and put together a tutorial on this. Thanks.
Does the camera come on in the night if there is activity at your car? I just got this delivered and found your video. You hadn’t mentioned anything about it.
@@JamesFixIt my car doesn’t charge from the battery unfortunately so I guess I just have a camera for driving. I only paid 45 Canadian on Amazon so I guess it’s worth it
@@_Red_Hand_ that would be a hard no for me! It records well I have no protection with this camera when the car isn’t running. Maybe I’d pay that if it detected activity while on battery power. Did you buy the camera?
You don't show how the camera attaches to the suction cup holder. Does it slide on or screw on. I won't buy a screw on one. The slide on and off is easy and doesn't break
Nothing personal, but you spent far too much time showing how to hide the wire, as opposed to actually showing how to input the date and format the cam for use.
I can set it up but after the cord there is zero information. What about how to format the card??? Then you stop talking and punch buttons obsessively. Not an educational video.
I expected some footage, if the camera is capable of reading the license plate of the car in front, instead most of the video was about how to tuck the cable.....pure garbage
Sorry, but this video is clearly titled with "How to install" (which you'd need to tuck the cable for a proper install) and notes nothing about what you are looking for. If there's something in the title that suggested you'd be reading a license plate, please explain and I will gladly make an edit. Thanks.

Thank you and you’re welcome. The cord-management process is definitely the most time consuming, but well worth it in the end! 👏🏽
So, the camera has to be connected to power at all times or we only charge the battery until it discharges just like our cell phone ?

Thank you my man!
You're welcome! Any time!

I have not had that issue, but I would start with trying a different MicroSD card. Otherwise, it sounds like you may have a defective unit...
Thanks for the great video on hiding the cable
Glad to help
Thank you!
Welcome! I
Do you have a video on how to take the footage off to view it 🤔

@JamesFixIt ok sounds good Thank-you 👍
I can't figure out how to format the HD! I've hardly used the camera and I'm already getting a disk full message.

The camera can turn on automatically, but only if it senses a bump to your car and unfortunately will not record motion alone.

I did not see how to format the memory card
Great job
Thank you 🙏🏽

Hello, this is a threaded design, but it does have a built in lock ring, which makes it more stable and I have not experienced any issues.
Pls How do I playback video? I can't seem to find the button 😅
Any idea when I plug in my SD card to the computer the video is just black but the audio is fine...?
Hmm not sure why that would happen, unless there is something blocking the lens. Is there video on the camera screen?
Nothing blocking the lens, it takes clear pictures, but the recorded videos are black..
Plug in other SD card and see if you have same issue.
I am having the same issue. on my computer it is black but the audio works
did you ever find anything out
How do I get the SD card out?
It has a spring mechanism, so you just need to push it inward. It will eject and you can pull it out 👍🏽
How do I get white balance off the screen

I’ve already got my tent ready lol 🏕️

What we don’t need is music in the background
Noted! Thank you
I like the music
Stop whining Karen, the music is perfect!
