David Draiman is a vocal beast! I saw him in a very small venue so it was cool to see them without all the madness that happens in big stage shows. No autotune simply talent!
Simon and Garfunkel wrote a beautifully classic song! It’s crazy that the original version, the Disturbed version and the Pentatonix version are the same song but the interpretations are different and make the song sound completely different and original!
Not impressed by Pentatonix...took 5 people to do the sane thing David did...their version is ok but I don't get chills or tears listening to their version !😊

Well, he used the voice that was appropriate for the lyrics he was singing during each part of the song. When the lyrics are soft, he's singing soft. When the lyrics ramp up, his voice does too. When the lyrics express rage, so does his voice. It's called, dynamics.
What David does with his voice is remarkable. A lot of professional training, all the guys are such talented musicians. Everything about this performance, behind the scenes too, is brilliant. Great reaction, glad you enjoyed it.

That's how timeless the lyrics are. This song was written in 1965, nearly 60 years later the words ring ever more true. Fantastic lyrics and Draiman gives it a voice worthy of those lyrics. Not sure if I like this or the studio version better. The studio version showcases his voice a bit better IMHO. This version let Draiman project emotion to a live audience which he did with aplomb.
