It is a great album but I still prefer their first and third albums better.
Played it till it wore out on cassette in my car….had to re-buy it later on CD…..😂😂😂

This was a great tune when it was released in '85, I played it constantly and wanted the Austin Healey in the video, in 2023, I still play it and still want the Austin Healey, they have a great catalogue for you to choose from, Sowing The Seeds Of Love is a must, great reaction as always 🇬🇧

What a great song
Massive tune here in the UK. I was 10 years old when it was in the charts, playing out with my friends, felt like we ruled the world, or at least the 3 or 4 streets round where we lived! Huge nostalgia. They were great song writers and musicians.
They still are , they put a new album out last year called The Tipping Point. Its a great album. Their voices are held up really well.

So these two have never heard this song before, OMG. 🤣🤣
Three-wheeled ATVs were outlawed back in the 90s due to safety issues (they had a tendency to roll over in fast, sharp turns... and, as seen in this video, they had a tendency to "wheelie" unexpectedly, throwing riders off the back). So manufacturers like Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda, etc started producing four-wheeled ATVs only.
But speaking as someone who grew up in the 90s riding four-wheelers, I can tell you that 4-wheeled ATVs can EASILY do a wheelie, and they can EASILY roll over in a turn (don't ask me how I know). Among other stunts, four-wheeled ATVs could be tipped up on either their left-side or right-side wheels and balanced, allowing the rider to ride in that tilted position.
You should cover their song “Shout” off the same album. It’s SO good!

Not only was the song about “ power and control”…it’s was about the threat of nuclear war in (80’s) ..sad, as it’s still stands today in (2024)

Oh my goodness I have 3 grown kids and my husband and I made picture dvd videos for each set to music we picked out and we used this song at the end of my youngest. Kinda makes me cry because she was born weighing only 2lbs and never knew if she’d live. SHE DID! She’s a beautiful kind generous smart young woman who has a careeer as a pharmacy tech.

Just a DX7, a Prophet 5, some Fairlight CMI, a killer drum machine groove, a guitar part and great vocals. Tears for Fears got a lot of good mileage out of what is really very few elements

8:12 "If you could rule the world, what is one thing you would do?" If I could rule things in the world that I have experienced, I would want a Time Machine. Then, obviously, I could go back and do it right!!! Especially when you knew the outcome before that.
Just one problem....I would not want to be that much older when I came back. Even for an hour. Solution: Come back an hour LATER than the time that you left.
If I could rule the world, I would increase the standards for graduating high school so maybe we start having more educated conversations instead of regressing as a society.
