Fucking gold this is.
Baaaah hahaha fuuuKING GOLDEN !!!!
I thought they got raider crests now? I saw his recon wings and mask, but didn’t see the crest thing. Do jump/dive awards trump them? I got out almost 5 years ago and was just a reg grunt so I don’t know any better
Good on him for becoming a recruiter. Marsoc, which is now called Raiders again, is really hurting for new people to join their ranks.
Maybe they’d get more people if they had a program to get people in directly like army’s 18x or the navy’s seal contract
This makes me extremely proud!!
He's like yeah I do this in my sleep.
That's freakin dope bro! I got 28 on the Marine pull-up bar. You beat me by 3!!
stfu tool hahaaha
like hell you did
Lemon Tea But it was Wide grip he did. Way harder
*Insert everything negative you can think of*
@@brettmcdermott0524 I can do more wide grip overhand pullups than i can chinups
D.S D.I : *Zero! Zero!! Zero!!! Zeerrroooo!!!!*
Maybe it’s just me or the perspective but I only saw one or two chin ups... and about 28 partial range reps.
@@JP-st9hn they're wide grip, your only going to pull your chin but so far past the bar with that many reps comfortably . Shoulder width is much easier
This is just David goggins in a different uniform back in his recruiter days 😂😂
Finally a Marine who didnt let me down on one of these damn clips... and a dark green one at that!!!! semper
I remember 6 months before heading to boot camp I dislocated my elbow and still went through MEPS and passed their interrogation bull shit ;) didn’t crack. Went through my enlistment without an issue 😂 but wasn’t able to do pull ups that well and only got 14 max in boot camp and was told I was a disgusting recruit for not getting 20 lmao
Can you tell us anything about what they do during the interrogation process?
@@Yan-mr5pp they just have everyone in a sort of auditorium. Everyone puts their heads down then they’ll ask people to settle forward if they lied about stuff, basically trying to guilt or pressure you into admitting things. As long as you don’t stand up or say anything, you’re good. I was once told by the Sgt major of MEPS that the Marine Corps knows what you tell them.
@@Carl6386 Hm ok thanks maybe I have the wrong picture but that doesn't sound too bad
it's called the moment of truth.
they counting a pullup before he even does the pullup half way thru lmao
Gave me anxiety! Lol
But he still completed them?
@@Deimos_the_Autist yeah but they dont know if he can or not, thats not the point to my comment lol
Ok... Im inspired and motivated for the entire year thanks to this guy
When I was in the Marine Corps, the most I ever did was 50. That took 4 years to get to that level
Even Michael Eckert can't do 50 pullups. So I call bs on that
It’s nice to see correct pull ups on here. Well done my guy
*Doesn’t get chin over bar
@@rocklee5434wide grip tho
@@rocklee5434They did. You’re just blind
Cant mess with no damn marine now
That dude is in shape😂
The female marine in the back checking him out 🤣
Not a female marine, that’s a high school student
That’s a student lol
Wide grip like that? That is impressive. I respect these dudes because they go through hell to get in! Easy to sit on the couch and pick away at his technique or other bs. Respect 👍💪💪
" finally, my time to shine". Lol
Marsoc marines r a different breed
Title should read “MARSOC Marine is out of uniform”
Who cares
So you’d want him to do pull-ups in his Dress Blues Coat ??? Foh
@@enoshf5040 You know how I know you're not a Marine....
@@TheActiveAssault Uhhhh.... the entire Corps. I'm sure he didn't expect to get put on blast on social media for showing off for some jrotc shit heads but here we are.
beast mode
Thanks for your service my brother!!!
I just love how perfect his form is how how his control it on the way up and down
Sarcasm:
How many can you do?
The staff and nco's in my unit would have never counted those. Ida had about 3 pullups on my pft score after doin 30.
MCRD they have a plaque with all the records for the PFT and I believe the record pull up was like 122 or something by a pt god clearly
How the hell is that even possible lmao
@@joshuakang4507 lol same thing we were all thinking, think it was really long time ago when you could do the flailing pull ups and what not, I’d love to see it
@@joshuakang4507 a recruit that was previously a professional rock climber set the record
Bless these young men in the marines, great job
To dismount a Pull-Up bar with as much comfudence as this man is my dream.
Mfer wasn't even tired afterwards. What a Beast
OK, that's impressive-because it really is not easy to do pull ups like that
@aragot ra I'm not really as strong as I look. Endurance but not a lot of bulk or high twitch muscle fiber.
@aragot ra you must be tough, huh? You ain’t shit
When machines show off. What a fucking brute. Glad he's on our side.
Outstanding job! With a wide grip as well. God bless our Marines
Let’s gooooooooo!
Such a wide grip good stuff tho
Wasnt me but SSGT really is a beast
@@claeslind9532 no. It shortens rom. Why do you think power lifters do wide grip bench? That's right easier
@@LarsRyeJeppesen And uses entirely separate muscle groups. It's not just easier outright.
@@LarsRyeJeppesen you’re just stupid and ignorant. Wide grip pull ups much more difficult to execute bc of the emphasis on the lats
Not even out of breath. What a unit.
That’s a motivated Marine right there!
I know he doesn’t have hands in his pockets in the back
I’m still waiting to see the pull-ups...
Me too. 3 days and counting... I think I saw 2 at the beginning.
Was looking for this comment. Lol I was like I can't be the only one that doesn't count those as actual pull ups. A lot of people could do 30 if they swung their body that much. Supposed to be straight up and down aint no loops. Lol
@@kiCcRoCcs858 proper form is Chin going over the bar but you should be looking forward not up which makes the way of Chin over a bar shorter, that's a cheat but unfortunelty military branches dont point that out, also how your back is shaped when doing pull ups should be pointed out.
@@kiCcRoCcs858 where’s your pull-up video
That wobble bar made it more difficult also 💪🏿
That’s the most marine looking bar ive ever seen
Not a single one counted...YOUR CHIN MUST GO ABOVE THE BAR
Your chin must be level with the bar, nothing about going over, congratulations, you now look even more stupid considering each and every single one did
@@billnye2982 I was a Gunnery Sergeant, (retired in 2009) and as such, I can promise no one ever passed my physical fitness test for pull ups unless their chin went ABOVE the bar. This was a fact.
His chin definitely went above the bar considering that’s a basic of military training. Also what’s confusing you is the angle. Try doing pull-ups next time at the gym with your chin barely clearing the bar and record from below with your phone set up and it’ll look the same way. I know since I’ve recorded some of my workouts to observe form.
It’s the low angle. I don’t know how so many people don’t know about this
Maybe for marines. A real full ROM pull up should see the chest nearly touch the bar. Also helps avoid chin pointing like we see here.
Zero zero zero
Majority of the marines in the units that I was in could do 20 pull ups on their PFTs. If they couldnt, they would get hazed, but that was a while back.
Nothing's changed. Not hazing but extracurricular training. Get that endurance up.
No wonder my teachers were so friendly to the recruiters
You don't have to be in the military to be this strong, kids. Your own hard work will get you there, regardless of job
Marines are stronger than civilians
What kind of protein powder is this guy taking
Best pull ups I’ve seen ever
It’s amazing how some people get giggity over people that know how to work out when reality we should all be physically fit like that
These are kids.
Now that’s a UNITED STATES MARINE
