Growing up in England I’ve been used to wearing a uniform for school. I’m now 23 and wear a grey t-shirt, grey sweater & black jeans. I alternate between black and blue jeans depending on what I’m doing. It makes my life so much easier and I don’t spend money on clothing every year. Only recently have I brought some new clothing after nearly 2 years of not doing so.
The way your so at peace and confident with who you are is so lovely. You are such a beautiful soul and there is nothing but 100% pure positive energy radiating off of you!
My struggle is throwing out my existing clothes to lean into a uniform. I think my uniform will be navy blue T and jeans then layer up with sweatshirts in the winter!

As someone who is transitioning out of the military, I appreciated the simplicity of having a set uniform I wore every day (three technically: one for fitness, one for work, one for formal occasions). As I move into the civilian life, I am working on designing my new uniform, though I am having to feel out how to facilitate different needs of occasion, such as fitness, dressing up, outdoors/hiking. I am jealous of Your total black wardrobe and the multi-functionality of it, though I don't think I can quite copy it due to my environment and needs/preferences. But I am definitely taking notes and inspection from You so again, thank You. Keep up the great content! Oh, and congrats on passing the 1k subscriber mark; I think I was number 997. 10k and beyond, here we come!

I'm a teen girl going into highschool, and for the past years of all my life I went to uniformed school. 5 Months ago I moved and still wore my old uniform every day. Suddenly I was caught with girls like me always dressing up and kids opinions on my daily clothing. I was stressing about my wardrobe for next school year, as working age here is higher than my old place and my family is low on income due to moving to another country. But this really helped me gain back my comfort and confidence to continue wearing the same thing like I'm used to. Thank you so much

I don't have the same color uniform everyday, but I have the same top in several colors, a few sweaters and kimono style wraps, and jeans. Its the same "uniform" but with the colors breaking it up, it does allow me to express my style. I do need a pair of black pants for dressy stuff, and a a dress. But other than that, I am all good. I am moving into all merino wool components, except for the "decorative" bits.

Very empowering video! In order so save money, I haven't bought any clothes except 1 garment for month. (I go shopping anyway, just looking Is fun!) I have three jumpers that I genuinely love with great patterns that make me feel like myself, and then others to fill up the wardrobe. As time goes by, I really notice this effect of having more space in my mind!! I really like putting outfits together, for real, but if I had endless money it would also stress me a bit! So for me the best option is to have my favorite sweaters (rn in winter) of high quality and spend money for experiences like the cinema!:) However, the idea of having a uniform to work in every day is really good too!

I totally agree with you, even more when you talk about decision fatigue. Well, I love black t-shirts, and my wardrobe is full of rock band t-shirts. Which is a kinda same thing, I just pick up the first band without make a decision. But I'm upgrading my "basic" level, yesterday I received 6 basic black tees and I'm thinking about to wear the same outfit, like a uniform. Sounds cool to me. Wish me good luck hahaha 😁🤜🤛

I wear the same style of clothing. 98% black though. What I do is buy like 8 pair of black leggings and 2 to 3 pairs of black jeans. The leggings I wear to work, gym and on the weekends. Jeans are for going out and then I just choose either a black long or short sleeve shirt to wear.
I did the same thing for a year or so. I lost track of how long I kept doing it. I wore jeans and a gray t shirt every day. I bought gray t shirts in packs. I never mentioned it to any of my friends. No one ever mentioned it. Once in a while I'd have a laugh about wearing the same thing every day. I have lots of photos from that time period, and I have on my costume in each photo. Eventually I just quit doing it. I can't even remember how it ended. I think I wanted to wear a black shirt one day, and then it was just over. I went back to just wearing my old clothes. Now I sleep in the gray shirts. Those gray shirts had a nice public career, and now they've retired to a comfortable private home life.

I want to sell all of my things and go this route. I am looking to create about 3 different brands that will have T-shirt’s. I rather wear my own things than all of the clothes I have. I also pretty much rotate the same 10 outfits anyways even though I have over 300 pieces of clothing items. It’s just time for a refresher as I enter my 30’s

Merino wool is my fabric of choice. Never washed my first merino shirts since getting them in Nov 2020. Buy black and navy though.
