This is just what I need to finish the comfort blankets I make for animal shelters...will give the blankets a nice look. Thanks for another great idea and tutorial !
I've also used this simple-to-stitch but very pretty border on blankets for my local no-kill shelter! I like to put something like this on the edge of a granny square blanket to make the edges more durable.
Hi Donna… what impeccable timing you have!!! I’m in the process of crocheting afghans for donation to the Boggy Creek Camp Organization. Just completed a blanket and I used this border…it’s gorgeous!!! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent and knowledge of crochet with our great community. Stay safe and be blessed ❤
Very beautiful stitch. Could you work on a video showcasing the modified sc2tog stitch in your UA-cam short? My brain can't seem to hack how you did it
What a pretty border and so easy! Do you have a video for the continuous rectangle you are putting this on? I make and donate blankets and am always looking for new patterns for continuous - especially rectangles! Thank you!
I have done something very similar to this, but I never raised the stitch up higher. I'll have to try that next time I work with a heavier yarn (right now working with a weight #1 yarn ... I have maybe 30 skeins so I'll be busy for a hot minute). On the off topic ... Can I say how jealous of your nails I am? I have to keep mine super short for numerous reasons (some being that they break very easily, I cut my hand open with a nail while working with white yarn for a wedding gift I had to start over again, & I'm a highly avid typist). I can't wear acrylics or even the "gel" nails because they hurt my fingers (I have 3 autoimmune diseases so that doesn't help either). However, might I ask what color that is? I would seriously love to get polish in that color to do my toes!!! 😊
On this one it's a double crochet made in a rectangle shape (working in 'rounds'). On the short version of this, it's a modified single crochet two together stitch pattern.
How about that crochet pattern? Easy to remember?
I am just finishing up a baby blanket and starting to choose my border. Thank you! I love this!!!
Very easy to remember & very nice looking❣️ Kind of makes the work look better.Love it❣️🥰
Looks great and simple. Thank you!
👍
Used this edging to join two Granny squares together for a little purse. Love it and easy to remember. Gives a polished look to your piece.
Oh my gosh! That is just wonderful and so easy. I love your instructions!! 💜
Every time I watch your videos, I say, “now why didn’t I think of that?!”
Wigs human hair 2:10
Wigs humaN Hair
Gives the piece a nice finished look.

@@jylmilner8612 oh, yes...absolutely! I think sometimes the edges get the most wear and tear...especially when dogs get to playing tug of war....🤣
@@gretchenchristophel1169 You're so right about playing tug! I have a min pin who loves tug of war, and she also chews on her plushies and blankets.
Thank you! Great tip for finishing edges!!!😊

@anaztazia
Hello mam I like your Vedio and your voice is so sweet I like your voice too much 😊
Easy baby blanket
❤❤❤❤😊
❤
Thank you! 🥰
What kind of yarn are you using
What's the primary stitch it's pretty?
On this one it's a double crochet made in a rectangle shape (working in 'rounds'). On the short version of this, it's a modified single crochet two together stitch pattern.
I am confused. Are the purple, pink, etc stitches just this edging stitch done over and over? Mine just doesnt look like yours.
How to start?
I don't understand your question. This is a full tutorial showing how to start, make, and finish this edging pattern.
Thank you
You're welcome!
