SAC SPD is so fucking broken. I never actually considered what was happening when that would occur. I always blamed it on missed input by the player and not the opponent capitalizing on escaping hit stun.

it is true! you only need to press all 4 directions within a small timeframe, you dont need to return to forward if you start on forward, it can be F/D/B/U + P and it will work
@@shanestone9770 you just need to be really fast with it, you can practice by jumping in place, doing the 360 in the air as youre coming down, and getting the SPD out that way then once youre comfortable with that, and can do it really fast, just stop jumping and try getting it on the ground, practice practice practice
Look up how to do a Hajiki Screw. Hi Score Girl 2 gives you a vague idea of how its done, but for best results, you need a Seimitsu stick or a Sanwa with a strong spring.
So I am high as fuck right now while my boyfriend plays this on the Genesis. Did the creators of street fighter make Zangief with all the things you considered in mind? Like, all the shit you just explained, did the inventors of the game purposely made Zangief as you described?
@@AndorFGC no way, i mean the later version maybe they had more of a idea but sf2 was the first game to have combos by mistake. i 95% of the time there's a bunch of dev oversight. no way anyone went yeah if they do a crouching hevey at this exact spot on a crossup they can get a combo
smarter opponents will goad you into doing it, but if you can make your opponent fear your sweep or other 50/50s and make them turtle, you can sneak one behind a cross up splash or any attack that leaves you plus on block as long as they dont try a reversal move to match you.

Tip:do Atomic Suplex instead of SPD when close, it might have worse range but it certainly does more damage and has no whiff.
Also, I hate how the 30th Anniversary Collection doesn’t have a triple punch button.

I ask because in my experience; if you jump away from the opponent the input has failed.
