I remember as a kid I was watching duc get 99 wins at Gladys arcade San Bernardino I was in middle school back then Duc is a legend in my books since I was a kid.
Duc has always been my hero since the earliest days of Marvel. In a game this fast-paced and rushdown oriented, to have a team focused on lockdowns and trapping is doubly challenging, and he does so masterfully.
I can't believe I just found this video. This is a great educational project dude. I've really wanted to play Spiral so this was super helpful.

Pretty good stuff. As a spiral/cable/sent player myself, the most impressive stuff by Duc is his superjump+air dash down and the psychology behind WHEN he uses it to either bait a superjump or change his landing timing, optimally positioning himself to throw swords, also building minor meter with the 2 heavy punches in there. He the best, it's why this team is called Team Duc. Also, 4:53 is bread and butter guard cancel, not just a pushblock AHVB. The guard cancel is important.

I like watching duc do play. His team composition is entertaining and very satisfying to watch. Not to mention the combos that are put out. Very unique and different.

I use a spiral team but i use Ken or captain command anti air assist. I just don't have a cable i can't get the quick jump super combo juggle. I started using spiral teams even before knowing about duc so seeing high level play of a spiral is insane. I like how he moves i never used the the quick falls she has to get grounded faster before watching duc play. If you are jumping doing 360 sword spin reloading the swords really keeps rush down teams trapped.

Man, could you imagine if Duc's Sentinel moved like Khaos's? I think it would be strong enough to warrant it's own win condition.

What did you mean by negative edge grenades?
if you press the input and hold down the button, the grenade will blow up when you release the button
this way, duc can blow up grenades rightaway in the air, tricking people who expect the grenade to fly in an arc

How is it fair that your character can only block once when coming into the battle? It’s not like Capcom is gonna patch that
in the air, in a normal jump state, your character is limited to 1 normal and 1 special move
if the normal move input is eaten by blocking, you cannot do anything else until you land
you can look up GConceptz's video about the topic, he explains it well
