You taking the time to explain match up charts and what each players game plan is going into the match is beyond amazing for somebody like me who doesn’t know everything about the FGC but follows channels such as the fellows of yo video games, Matt Mcmuscles, wolly, and such this series was great.

This was a really awesome video! Being a gamer since i was as young as 2 years old and now being over the age of 30, that E.Honda fight definitely gave me hope with certain characters i have loved over the years in certain fighting games.
Just a little story about myself. When i was around the age of 5 or 6? I remember going to a candy store with my dad and there was STREET FIGHTER II standing there in the corner with a teenager playing the game. I watched the person play a few matches while my dad was busy doing whatever it was at the time. The teenager asked me if i wanted to play a match against him, and being so young at the time i was really intimidated by him but accepted the challenge. I still remember it as clear as day. I chose Chun-Li against his Ryu. And guess what? This younger version of me, a small scared kid, beat him 2-0. And he just looked at me and smiled and said "wow, good job dude" and shook my hand. I will always remember this moment in my life. A bit after whenever SFII hit the SNES, i broke my arm, and my dad got me the game as a gift. I played the game even with the cast on. Several hours a day with my older brother.
I don't really play fighting games much anymore, accept for Smash Bros. (if you can even classify it as a fighting game of course). But i still enjoy watching tournaments and videos like this one.
If you had the chance to read this, thank you for spending the time to get through it all. I really enjoyed this video and felt the need to share this moment with you guys.

I had fun playing Super Turbo as a kid on console, but NEVER knew anything about it’s competitive community before I got into the FGC.
That being said, I REALLY enjoyed this video. Loving how you have been giving these FGC lessons. I have always been a fighting game fan. Didn’t grow up around arcades. I started running my own tournaments in college (unaware of how deep the FGC actually even was lol), then became a smash player and since have delved into the rabbit whole of competitive gaming (probably good that it came late in life, because I most likely would have never done anything else lol)
