This is a fabulous video! Mine is leaking too and obviously I need a new valve. Just not sure I’m up to the trouble of doing it. You’re a great explainer. Almost makes me think it’s possible😊
Just did it... super easy
Yay!!! I didn’t need to replace the valve, but unclog the tubes of it. It’s after midnight, so I can’t try it. Fingers crossed!
AAUGH! How I wish I had seen this video three hours ago! Based on another (far less organized and comprehensive) video, I thought the "no flow" problem was a clog at that little nipple... and the hose on my FloorMate was completely fused to the nipple. In trying to remove it, I broke it off, and I've just now stuck it back in place and flooded the area with silicone to hopefully reconnect the hose! 😰
I suppose if I DO need to replace the valve, I'll have to re-use the old hose... provided it will come off at the valve end! 😕
Richard thanks for the video! Mine sprays and scrubs but will not suck up any water. Could this valve fix it? Or this valve only used for dispensing water?
The valve is only for dispensing yes. You may want to check your squeegee or the flex hose around the neck area
mine stop turning on. was working fine with no issues. prb only used this machine like 5-6 times
would you know the cause of this?
Seized motor most likely. Common problem.
Where can I buy the part?
Check the description!
Mine won't start. Please advise.
There’s an almost 100% chance your motor is rusted and it’s not repairable.
