I remember along with other people the original Hoover Floormates, especially some models having a knob to switch cleaning modes. Amazing how far Hoover has changed! Wonderful job!
Hey. I bought this at a thrift shop and after cleaning on it for at least a half hour looks pretty good and worked great. I cleaned out those nozzles, also. My problem is I went to use it and my finger slipped off the power switch. It was about to start until I did that. I’m gonna take it apart and take a look see. I don’t know if something popped off or ? Anyway this video is going to be a great help. I love taking things apart, lol. Now, getting it back together will be the fun part. I will have this video to reference, though. Thanks.
I watched your previous video on this model and after watching this latest video, I have decided to purchase this. Never before have we had a floor cleaner, so this will be a huge upgrade. Hate using mops. Would much rather clean this unit after each use. Thanks for making these vids. Will look to them when we replace our vacuum cleaner.

This cleaner is nothing but problems
There is a cordless version. Hard floor scrubbers need very little suction motor power to make the floors sparkling clean. The Hizero bionic mop doesn’t even have a vacuum blower motor because it uses an alternative means to pull the dirty water into the tank making it a very soft machine.
They are great about their warranty service. I have this machine. I had the old floor mate. I think it did a better job, and it’s nozzle fit under the toe kicks of the cabinets where this one doesn’t.
a suggestion >>> turn off your auto focus and have it on the vacuum only cause your camera is hunting for focus and its mostly blurry.. I just grabbed Hoover FH40160PC off fleabay for 63 bucks, I tried it out and first thing I notice is the water release is super hard to pull. makes since now that I see it has a gravity fed spring release. I don't think it works better than my older model with the power button on the top of the handle.
Appreciate the comment. This lens actually died shortly after filming. I think you'll appreciate everything being focus and later videos.
Mine won't dispense the water solution anymore & when it did, it didn't clean very well. There are no repair shops in my area.

I bought one of these yesterday and out of the box it will not dispense fluid. No visible obstructions anywhere. Clean water tank is full. Tried multiple priming methods but I see now that it’s just a gravity feed. Curious what could be wrong out of box with such a simple mechanism.
EDIT: ah it looks like there is a piece that screws onto the bottom of the clean water tank outlet that is missing.

I have this model and all of a sudden it is no longer sucking up liquid..Any thoughts? I think the warranty is out, and I can't find a local repair person..TIA..
Reassemble the nozzle and collection tank. Check to make sure all the gaskets are present
