After 2 Hoover Floormates, I will never buy another Hoover product again!

The blue solution you have in it is either not supposed to be in there or you have too much. I have had my Hoover floormate for 4 years it ONLY has a problem when you put other solutions or soap in it. The problem is not with the product it's the user.
It may be the solution. All the machines I have had before. You can use any solution you want. The Hoover floor solutions cost to much so I use other solutions. If this machine only can be used with Hoover solution, that's super cheesy. If I buy a machine I should be able to use whatever soap I want in them. Plus my Bissell Crosswave can be used with any solution I want. I have used fabuloso, grout cleaner, even commercial cleaning solutions, and the Crosswave can accept them all. So it may be part my fault but also part Hoovers.
dudr ive been looking everywhere for people who had the same problem, i used my brand new floor mate literally twice with the detergent they recommended and after awhile it just stopped turning on

I used the solution they provided and had the same issue after 3 times using it. There is a 2 year warranty on the product, call Hoover customer service and they will help you.
It's still a poor design since machines like the Bissell Crosswave can handle many different solutions, including this one fine. Plus this video is like 3 years old and I returned it.
@@VacMaster1991 I understand. Seems it's a design issue they've yet to solve. My Bissell crosswave brush will no longer rotated, and after trying to order online and experiencing a month of not being able to check out through their store, I bought the Hoover. We'll see how the replacement goes. It had great suction rather than leaving my floors wet like the Bissell, but to fail after 3 uses...no bueno.
@@Terable13 I guess every machine has its pros and cons but. Honestly I don't really like any machine like this. They are too difficult to clean out and maintain. I prefer steam mops or spin mops like the Bissell spinwave

If they had kept the original design for the floormate they would not have any problems. I have the first edition After more than ten years of constant use I have an issue with the sensor not allowing me to pick up water. The pick up dirty water thinks it is full.

It's a common problem with these. Return it and get a Bissell crosswave

@@VacMaster1991 try using white vinegar instead of a soap I had never run anything in mine except the hoover cleaner and clear water til recently because I just could get things clean enough to suit me after a dog peed in here but the vinegar did the trick I just don't think ill do that very often because I don't want to cause the break down of my machine
@@teresatodd5832 , I absolutely hate the smell of vinegar. Plus I don't have this machine anymore. Now I use machines without this problem
I think it's the suds... Too much solution in your mix I think.
I put no soap in. Same thing happened.
How can I replace fuse in motor?? Won't start and nobody will fix

I've had several foormates and they stop working because of the cheap switch. I've tried to disassemble to get to the switch, but that is impossible. Please use a different switch.
I have had multiple seize up from rust in the motor. They just don't seem to last.
