I have been cancer free for three years now. Without a doubt, the biggest improvements to my health have come from what I have learned here from dr.berg. I have implemented the diet used by guy tannenbaum, and fast 20 hours daily. I continue with a very active lifestyle of long distance cycling and yoga, and feel completely energized. I have also learned to forage natural reishi, turkey tail and chaga mushrooms from the forest here in British Columbia. I consume them daily, primarily in tea, and I notice a significant reduction in inflammation. Highly recommend. Thank you dr. Berg, your message has changed my life!

I worked in a health store for a while before the pandemic, and starting taking a wide range of suppements. It's often very difficult (or near impossible) to tell eactly what they're doing until you stop taking them. Personally, I found lion's mane to be undeniably beneficial. The level of focus I achieve while taking them is unmatched, and found myself wanting to read, or paint, or play music- anything creative. It's the only food proven to stimulate neurogenesis, and now being considered in helping those with MS and other neurological disorders. I also noticed with cordyceps, I was able to do twice the distance in running (due to the increase of V02). Mushrooms are so powerful. They're not cheap, but it's worth the investment imo

Great study on turkey tail shows that if you take it in conjunction with chemotherapy to fight cancer, you will live an average of 6 to 10 years longer then you would if just taking chemotherapy by itself. The best part about turkey tail is, it grows everywhere. Dead logs on the ground or standing Deadwood are where you can find it, it has some look-alikes, so make sure to positively identify it. I have the good fortune of having a "turkey tail colony" growing happily right in my little back yard (big rotting logs). It is dormant now but will burst out with new growth again next spring. So the issue is about how best to ingest it. Most advice is to "make a tea". Well, I started chewing it raw from time to time, and it is not bad at all. Mild mushroom flavour, and after a while when it gets a bit tired and woody, I just spit it out. Done. No tea. Opinions?

How do mushrooms fit into your KETO plan? I mean how many could I consume a day? Does it matter which ones? I eat a huge salad for dinner like you recommend (6 cups or more). But I would like to try some of these mushrooms with grass fed butter maybe. Maybe they'd be good with a little bacon or definitely an an omelet I would think.
