I have been cancer free for three years now. Without a doubt, the biggest improvements to my health have come from what I have learned here from dr.berg. I have implemented the diet used by guy tannenbaum, and fast 20 hours daily. I continue with a very active lifestyle of long distance cycling and yoga, and feel completely energized. I have also learned to forage natural reishi, turkey tail and chaga mushrooms from the forest here in British Columbia. I consume them daily, primarily in tea, and I notice a significant reduction in inflammation. Highly recommend. Thank you dr. Berg, your message has changed my life!

I worked in a health store for a while before the pandemic, and starting taking a wide range of suppements. It's often very difficult (or near impossible) to tell eactly what they're doing until you stop taking them. Personally, I found lion's mane to be undeniably beneficial. The level of focus I achieve while taking them is unmatched, and found myself wanting to read, or paint, or play music- anything creative. It's the only food proven to stimulate neurogenesis, and now being considered in helping those with MS and other neurological disorders. I also noticed with cordyceps, I was able to do twice the distance in running (due to the increase of V02). Mushrooms are so powerful. They're not cheap, but it's worth the investment imo

Great study on turkey tail shows that if you take it in conjunction with chemotherapy to fight cancer, you will live an average of 6 to 10 years longer then you would if just taking chemotherapy by itself. The best part about turkey tail is, it grows everywhere. Dead logs on the ground or standing Deadwood are where you can find it, it has some look-alikes, so make sure to positively identify it. So the issue is about how best to ingest it. Most advice is to "make a tea". Well, I started chewing it raw from time to time, and it is not bad at all. Mild mushroom flavour, and after a while when it gets a bit tired and woody, I just spit it out. Done. No tea. Opinions?

I am really struggling with staying on keto I lost 25 pounds a few years ago but gained it all back and a few more after going thru menopause. I know it is a mental thing but I also feel like I need biscuits or crackers in the morning for my stomach with my medicine I feel slightly nauseous and I keep blowing it... I want to do better!

You may not be able to do full keto dealing with menopause. Be gentle with yourself, just focus on the intermittent fasting, but don’t push yourself too hard. Don’t do it every day. Do low carb but don’t push yourself to do an all or nothing-it could trigger a stress reaction and make menopause more difficult. I am a big fan of keto and intermittent fasting, but just sharing what I’ve learned.

Maybe drop more carbs and go full carnivore?

Make your own keto "crackers or biscuits". Dr. Berg has a recipe for cheddar biscuits that's awesome! Find alternatives and you'll stick with it. 💪

Doc. I love when you talk about things that meat and dairy free people can use. I know you are a huge advocate for the benefits of animal product but could you also share your wisdom with those of us who don’t consume that☺️ please. Love your content
