I have been cancer free for three years now. Without a doubt, the biggest improvements to my health have come from what I have learned here from dr.berg. I have implemented the diet used by guy tannenbaum, and fast 20 hours daily. I continue with a very active lifestyle of long distance cycling and yoga, and feel completely energized. I have also learned to forage natural reishi, turkey tail and chaga mushrooms from the forest here in British Columbia. I consume them daily, primarily in tea, and I notice a significant reduction in inflammation. Highly recommend. Thank you dr. Berg, your message has changed my life!

I worked in a health store for a while before the pandemic, and starting taking a wide range of suppements. It's often very difficult (or near impossible) to tell eactly what they're doing until you stop taking them. Personally, I found lion's mane to be undeniably beneficial. The level of focus I achieve while taking them is unmatched, and found myself wanting to read, or paint, or play music- anything creative. It's the only food proven to stimulate neurogenesis, and now being considered in helping those with MS and other neurological disorders. I also noticed with cordyceps, I was able to do twice the distance in running (due to the increase of V02). Mushrooms are so powerful. They're not cheap, but it's worth the investment imo

Great study on turkey tail shows that if you take it in conjunction with chemotherapy to fight cancer, you will live an average of 6 to 10 years longer then you would if just taking chemotherapy by itself. The best part about turkey tail is, it grows everywhere. Dead logs on the ground or standing Deadwood are where you can find it, it has some look-alikes, so make sure to positively identify it. I have the good fortune of having a "turkey tail colony" growing happily right in my little back yard (big rotting logs). It is dormant now but will burst out with new growth again next spring. So the issue is about how best to ingest it. Most advice is to "make a tea". Well, I started chewing it raw from time to time, and it is not bad at all. Mild mushroom flavour, and after a while when it gets a bit tired and woody, I just spit it out. Done. No tea. Opinions?

Black coffee was likely the slippery slope that lead to subtle flavor profile, which then became an interest in wine, spirits, and raw veg. You're really going to leave out cordyceps? Definitely my favorite out of all the medicinal shrooms. I have tried them all and usually always have one or two in my rotation. Currently using a cordyceps extract and a reishi extract. Both are extremely effective.

It’s sad so many are hard to find and when you do, the prices can be nuts for the amount of product. I need to find another Asian market besides the popular one near me as I notice they’re price increases are higher than other international markets. I must admit, they do have tons of products.

I forage for medicinal mushrooms. Mostly reishi and chaga. I've used chaga for years but only recently started using reishi and lionsmane tinctures. I don't have any real sleep problems but reishi most definately improves my sleep. I make my own tinctures which greatly reduces cost. Speaking of cancer I was surprised chaga wasn't mentioned. Turkey tail is more for breast cancer and chaga for all cancers. Although I would use both and do. I've begun growing TT and always collect wild ones whenever I come across them. I have tinctures of them started but none for sale yet.
