I'm a forager of chaga and reishi. I've used chaga for a few years but was hesitant with reishi. I don't know why but figured I should give it a try if I was going to sell it to others. I'd heard it helped with sleep and promoted a deeper more restfull sleep. Long story short, it does. I'm normally a light sleeper and generally don't sleep more than 6-7 hours. With a little reishi hours before bed time I'll sleep 9-10 hours and feel as though I could sleep more! I haven't tried yet but kind of have to make myself get up. I've also used it topically on my scalp for baldness and have fine hair comeing in. About three months now. The scalp mixture is reishi with two other ingrediants. I'd heard topical use wouldn't work for hair restoration but I was only using the dual extract for my sleep experiment 4-5 times a week when I noticed the fine hair coming in. I increased the frequency of both ( topically and ingesting) and have began taking it in the morning as well. 4-5 Droppers twice a day of wild reishi dual extract and the hair tonic every morning after water only scalp wash.
As an update. Last night I skip the bedtime reishi and went back to my old sleep pattern. Which is restless and about 7 hours. Hair has not come in much thicker but still giving it a go. No side effects other than I hardly use sinus medicine at all. I used to have sinus congestion and headaches 3-4 times a month. My almost daily cocktail is several shots of a mixture of 50% chaga dual ex , 25% reishi, and 25% lionsmane in a glass of cranberry juice.

Hey Hania: has there been any studies done using mushrooms for Long Covid? I’ve had Long Covid for over three years, the main and debilitating symptoms are chronic fatigue and shortness of breath, plus POTS.
20% of my lungs go damaged during COVID. Felt shortness of breath during workout. After taking Reishi for last 6 months and cordyceps for last 1 month my lungs seem to have recovered significantly and feel full of energy through our the day. You may like to start taking high dosage of Reishi extract ( 5-8gms) per day and see the results for yourself. Happy Healing 😊
Most cordyceps on the market are grown on a substrate , not insects. Personally I have no problem with and would prefer to use a wild cordy grown on an insect , but maybe that's just me. It will probably be found to be more effective if wild.
I am not fun of an unconventional medicine, - actually I am very far from it. But I love mushrooms as a food and source of nutrients and vitamins. I see very bright development for the mushroom industry in close future. It is actually emerging market. Right now, it is very narrow niche of well known mushrooms. Mushrooms can be great source for micro elements, vitamins, "meat", carbs, fibers...... And please notice - our food Giants did not work on mushrooms at all, - so, I think it is coming...........
It's a pity that modern chemical sick-care medicine is called "conventional" and traditional natural medicine is called "unconventional". Follow the money.

The cost has been enormous and unhelpful. I have a medical person that suggested I try micro dosing and what a difference it has made. I have now started growing my own Lions mane and shiitake mushrooms so I know exactly what I am getting. I grow may different kinds of mushrooms now and my medical friend helps me with the dosing. I have not seen anyone talk about mushrooms for celiac disease and I would love to see some studies done on this.

It has also positive effects on cognitive abilities, including memory, but they do not last for long after you stop taking it. Regards Reishi. They are very helpful for the lung function. As an experienced smoker, I can attest to it. I didn't notice any effect on my stress levels or sleep. Neither did it have any effect on my immune function. At least, I didn't feel it.
Cordyceps are able to be lab grown- Ophiocordyceps militaris is a strain we can grow with realative ease, and they have tested higher in cordycepin, a key beta glucan responsible for many of the heakth benefits of Cordyceps. Quality Cordyceps products are made with lab grown Cordyceps fruiting bodies extracted powders. :_D Beautiful lesson.
We love Cordyceps!
Maybe it's just my cheap $59 android phone but I couldn't fully understand your guests name. I thought you said Tanya Openski. Thank God for "ai". You may want to show the guests name in writing during the first ten seconds of the podcast. I give you a thumbs up.
Great video 🎉❤
34:53 this was my question when it comes to working with mushrooms. Wish she spoke on it a lil more. Great info
Hi, does cordyceps increase prostate cancer cells? Please share your thoughts and suggestions
Thanks
Hey Hania: has there been any studies done using mushrooms for Long Covid? I’ve had Long Covid for over three years, the main and debilitating symptoms are chronic fatigue and shortness of breath, plus POTS.
If you took the jab it's more likely to be from that than 'long covid'
@@tomrooney3223 I didn’t take the jab and……… my long Covid started after getting Covid in January 2020, before it was even thought to be in the UK
I have seen UA-cam videos on curing long Covid with photobiomodulation.
Polecam herbatkę z kwiatu kasztanowca i regularnie stosować pyłek pszczeli.
Most interesting video 💕
Is this available on a podcast? I subscribed to your podcast on Apple Podcasts but this one was not listed-
Thanks!
Unfortunately this series is not available on Apple Podcasts.
Most cordyceps on the market are grown on a substrate , not insects. Personally I have no problem with and would prefer to use a wild cordy grown on an insect , but maybe that's just me. It will probably be found to be more effective if wild.
My favourite mushrooms is Lions mane, turkey tail and Psilocybe
Great choices!
Why is it your favourite ?
for me , chaga and reishi would complete that list.
@@timothylongmore7325 but chaga is not a mushroom
@@timothylongmore7325yes chaga i a fungi. All mushrooms are fungi, but not all fungi are mushrooms. and chaga is one of them that is not a mushroom.
Hi I have had kidney cancer and had it removed.
What would you recommend that I take naturally?
Graviola very good for cancer ( dr. Sebi)
I would love to buy Hifas Da Terra products, but they are not shipping to Europe. Is there any option? thank you for a wonderful insight!
Asja Hifas are from Spain; you should be able to find them all over Europe.
Portable la mushrooms are very popular. What’s their medical properties?
Fun fact: Hania Opienski can be translated from Polish as Hanna Armillaria (fungus species)
Thanks. How can I contact you for consultation?
I am not fun of an unconventional medicine, - actually I am very far from it. But I love mushrooms as a food and source of nutrients and vitamins. I see very bright development for the mushroom industry in close future. It is actually emerging market. Right now, it is very narrow niche of well known mushrooms. Mushrooms can be great source for micro elements, vitamins, "meat", carbs, fibers...... And please notice - our food Giants did not work on mushrooms at all, - so, I think it is coming...........
Big Pharma also has "fun" with conventional medicine! Enjoy.
It's a pity that modern chemical sick-care medicine is called "conventional" and traditional natural medicine is called "unconventional". Follow the money.
Lots of foraging and mushroom pickers here in British Columbia,
I just got a big bag of chaga powder from what a lady who died of cancer left behind. Hopefully it will work better for me than it did for her.
there is much more to medicinal mushrooms than hallucinating from them.
Do they make her hands dance non-stop? I have CFS so will be looking at this more but I think my original pneumonia that has left me with CFS was a fungal lung infection so no thanks to fungi for that. Update; just tried a mushroom complex supplement for about 5 days and absolutely no good effect in fact my CFS got worse after a few days so very disappointed with that.
Great lighting! One thing I thought you could’ve done better is bought a teleprompter so that you could look at the camera when reading the qualifications of your guest
What brand of Lions Main and Resihi are the better brands .
I have started micro dosing after a diagnosis of celiac disease and gluten ataxia. My nervous system has taken a painful hit and western medicine has nothing to help. They worry more about people getting addicted to medicine than helping the patients. So your pain is ignored 🤬 it also took them two and a half years to diagnose me.
I take lions mane, reishi and cordyceps daily. Cordyceps specifically before I train. I also take psylisibon.
Just wondering do you take an extract or where do you get your products from thanks
So what are good sources to determine the dose, if you don’t have a practitioner?
What is the best and highest quality brand to get the shitaki, rioshici, and mayoshi blend?
I can't actually say but I think you can get your answers from a mycologist.
Charlesmyco is a mycologist.
On instagram
I heard about 20 years ago that mushrooms were being studied to heal cat leukemia. Did that happen?
Fantastic! Thank you both. Also, Hania may be Polish or of Polish parents? Her last name is Opieński and isn’t it hilarious that the name of one of mushrooms in Polish is Opieńki ?:)
59:54 not virus but parasites
Could you please provide the link to the recent paper that invstigated the content of supplement products. Thanks
How about using mushrooms medicinally for cancer therapy while a cancer patient is undergoing conventional treatments? 😢 yes or no?
They do this in Japan
Organic ginger powder is best for killing cancer
I am currently on chemo and my naturopath put me on mushroom supplements. He is a former oncologist now practicing naturopathic medicine. He said that there is no problem because they work synergistically.
Are all edible mushrooms good? Must be,Iv'e eaten loads since 5 yr old. : }
