Morning all! We've had a bit of a nightmare lately with laptop, camera and video editing software issues, which made this one so difficult to put together - parts we couldn't even watch properly before we "produced" it as everything kept crashing, so apologies in advance for any ropey footage, badly strung together segments or parts where the music doesn't align or anything else odd in this video (and no that doesn't include our dreadful tea making 😜). Hopefully, it's mostly okay but I just wanted to point it out. We're still having a few issues now and can't work out if it's our laptops or the software! Anyway, hope you like the video and thank you as always to everyone who watches and supports us, we really appreciate it ❤
@@jimmyconnolly3461That's all for next week 🙈 (spoiler alert: we think the van's fixed now, the vids are a couple of weeks behind reality as we've tried to film a lot while we're here so we can still release one video a week when we're at work and can't really film. But we think/hope Daisy is okay 🙏)
U2 are about the best UA-camrs I’ve seen in a long time. Stop putting your van and yourselves down your fab. We can’t wait till Sunday to see what antics you’ve got up to and see you happiness Steve is still in love with Vanlife. Keep going don’t change your things it’s brilliant well worth watching and subscribing to your channel
That's so heartwarming to read, we dont know what to say 😳 Thank you Paul for such kind and invigorating words, it means a lot to know you enjoy our videos so much 🥰 I think we will always be a bit self-deprecating, it seems to be British tradition, but sometimes it's nice not to do that and just be positive about things/ourselves instead for once. Thank you for your support as always 🙏 ❤️
Oh wow thank you Paul, blimey, I couldn't ask for a nicer compliment than that! ❤️ You're very kind 🤗 Stephen did really well with it. Also will save a few quid on haircuts now!
Hello, that's great to know, hope you saw some familiar sights. Görlitz feels like a very underrated place. Vielen Dank, wir haben noch mehr von Deutschland vor uns 😍
Steven makes my heart smile. His facial expressions are just fantastic. He really doesn't need to say anything his face says it all 😂 Adore you both. Thank you. You both make a very old lady very happy Have a blessed Sunday, sweethearts ❤❤
Stephen's face sums anything up far better than words can for sure 😂 He can morph that face into anything! And thank you, so pleased you're enjoying the vids, hope you had a lovely Sunday too 😊 ❤️
Well wasn't that an epic trek and a half!! I totally respect the effort that went into you 2 bringing us these incredible images!! That scenery was so unusual and incredible and fascinating with it's lush valley and rugged pillars. Wow!! So worth the effort.
Thank you! ❤️ So pleased you liked it, I (Dan) really thought the bridge and scenery were very special, Stephen was less bothered but I think he just hated the trek up there 😂
Loving the haircut and thank you both very much for taking me up to see that view. It was amazing. Keep up the good work. Excited to see where you take us all next week xx
Hi Linda, you're very welcome, that trek uphill was short but not easy, however definitely worth the views over the valley! Next week we nip into a different country altogether 😉 And thank you! ❤️🤗
Dzień dobry guys, glad to see we are quality checking the local ice-cream, it's an important job. As for the cinnamon flavour, I, Darren would love that, definitely sounds like creamy heaven. That bridge looks amazing and wide enough that I wouldn't trip over my own feet and launch over the edge, but as we say every week nothing worth seeing is easy to get to, could you imagine the crowds if it was. See you soon, much love Darren and Alison 🤟♥️
Hey guys, or err, the Polish term you just used which is a bit more than we learned 🙈 ice cream checking is essential as always and damn, Germany is passing on that one. Alison would love it here. The cinnamon flavour was perfect - it's such an obvious ice cream flavour now I've tried it, I'm amazed it isn't a thing in the UK (my favourite is still fig ice cream which we found a lot in Turkey). The bridge was gorgeous- very unique, great views and unusual scenery. So worth it but absolutely avoid weekends or even the middle of the day, it's more popular than we realised! You'd have been okay up there I think as you don't have to be near the edges. Probably too much for the dogs to climb though. Take care, much love ❤️ 🤟
Definitely worth watching. Love the trim. 100% a Stud-muffin 👀 nothing wrong with putting on a little timber get yourself a baby belly. Enjoy the treats life is for living. I agree with Steve, always in need of ice cream especially in the heat. another lovely video of Germany 🇩🇪 The views are phenomenal
Thanks so much Paul, flattery is always welcome on this channel 😂❤ Appreciate your kind words. Our weight fluctuates but we try not to worry too much, we're aware we're being a bit more indulgent because we're visiting somewhere new. Ice cream in Germany is delicious, so many more interesting flavours than you get back home 😋😍 Hope you're well
Hi guys Nice to see you both having a great time, salad looked amazing and the breakfast roll. The scenery at the bridge was amazing, and so high i wouldn’t be able to do that. Ps luv your hair cut well done Stephen 😘 xxx 👋
Hey guys thank you! Stephen did a great job with that, especially as it was technically 3 different lengths, not that you could tell! Damn the food here is amazing, but you can't beat an English style breakfast roll 😁
Sometimes it's our own fault, sometimes it feels like we can't find the correct pronunciation, sometimes we can't make the correct sound, but either way it means we end up getting it wrong 😂🤦♂️ I think it must take years to get right..!
Ah that makes sense, I think we did read something similar. So many beautiful buildings were crumbling, but far far more seemed to have been restored which was nice. And cheers for the prost correction 😁❤️
A great video combination of van life realities, sightseeing and humour plus the odd 'i' from Stephen. Funniest line was .....not being too scared despite the 200m sheer drop! A geat Sunday morning watch whilst chilling. 🤗 🤗. Xx
Cheers Gary! Always plenty of ayes these days 😂 God knows where we started that, I think visiting Stephen's mum in Scotland, it just kind of stuck, plus it's a bit more interesting than "yeah" 😆 The bridge wasn't great if you don't like heights 🙈 But definitely worth it and it felt safe. Glad you enjoyed it 👍😍
Your welcome. Thank you for telling me about the history of the place. I enjoy the video when people do this, as you sound quite knowledgeable about the place. 😊. I go to Portugal alot, have you been there? It's beautiful.
Hi Lesley, we went to Portugal last year and made a few videos there. We loved it so much and we're hoping to go back next year if we can. Do you have any favourite spots? We did love the Algarve and Comporta Beach south of Lisbon, Bragança was a lovely surprise too. And thank you, we're so pleased you enjoy the history and facts, we try to look those up before we go or while we're wandering around and hope it helps to give everyone a better feel for the place we're in 😃❤️
I have travelled to lots of places in Portugal but not the North, except l spent the day in Lisbon. I would like to see more further past Viana Do Castelo, near the Spanish border. I usually holidayed in the Algarve which is beautiful. I watch lots of YT channels about the north. I will know it well by the time I visit there. 🤣🤣😵💫
It's lovely watching you two anytime, don't worry about the quality of the content, it's a breath of fresh air just watching your journey and thank you so much for sharing
Great video, thanks for sharing. I used to live in Germany and for a few years in West Berlin before the wall came down - visiting friends in East Berlin I used to have to go through Checkpoint Charlie. This brought back so many memories - especially the ice cream parlours. I love the German potato salad too - actually most of the food there, really miss it. Stay safe and well.
Hi Irene, glad you enjoyed it and it took you down memory lane 😍 That must've been quite the experience, living there at that time! The food is fantastic and yes ice cream parlours really are such a big thing here aren't they. We're now addicted to potato salad 😁 thanks for watching 🤗 ❤️
Morning ladies ❤ Waking up to you 2 on a Sunday morning sat in my van with a coffee watching my little rays of sunshine what a great way to start the day ❤❤❤❤❤
Morning Susan! 🌞 So happy to be your Sunday morning viewing, though ray of sunshine might be pushing it, especially for a certain one of us 😂😉 Hope you're waking up to some sun wherever you are in your van! Thank you 🥰❤
Thank you, it was more for practical purposes which I feel very grateful for in the van! Haha, Victorian criminal sounds like a potentially good look to us, there's a market for everything you know 😂😍
I dont use that movie software but can I make a suggestion about your movie making? when you mention attractions I am left to imagine what they look like. As much as I love to see your handsome faces the attractions might be more interesting to see just for a moment as you speak of it. 😄Well you were talking about movies so I just thought I would be a film critic for once. 🤓And who doesnt love constructive criticism. 😫 Happy and safe motoring fellas and I wait patiently for the next instalment. Maybe Russell Hobbs will send you a new kettle? 😄 👍
Morning TomCat! Constructive feedback is always good to hear, also if you're a movie critic, does that make our videos films? We'll take that 😂😉 We hope we do try to show off the places we see, but yes maybe the balance isn't always right. Poland itself was the big omission from this one and that feels a shame, but a combination of it not seeming particularly interesting that side of the river and batteries running low meant we had to cut it out. But it was certainly weird walking across and having to pay in Polish money and the language instantly changing. Thanks for the feedback and for watching as always 🥰🤗
@@comealongdear We never saw even a bit of Polish sausage! 🍆 Oh wait that not a sausage, oh well you know what I mean. I hope you are enjoying some sauerkraut on your travels though. 👏
@tomcat7525 very much enjoying sauerkraut, they love their variations on it here, and we could happily sit there eating from the jar 😆 Poland deserves more time to itself if we ever come back this way (personally would love to do that through to Lithuania/Latvia/Estonia but who knows if that will happen!)
What can I say, we've all got our trigger points and insecurities (I have 345 as of last count) and Mr. Mole is one 😉 But of course, in the grand scheme of life, it's a pointless worry.

Stop worrying because we are all here for the dry banter! Oh and I think you should name her...the kettle that is :-) Another fab vlog x
Ah thank you Jo 😍 That seems like a plan, we are rather fond of that battered old thing so it's only fair she has a title 😂
There are still buildings in the former east Germany that are in ownership dispute. Hence, some are in looking a bit shabby. The cheers is 'prost'.

It wasn't tinned fish, it was tinned Panda, I saw the picture on the lid 😮
Who knew panda came so cheap! 😂🐼 (in fairness it really could've been anything in that tin, I'm not sure we'd have guessed they were livers 🤔)
