mate, i have been throwing that exact same net since i was 8! nothing beats coming home from days prawning absolutely covered in mud from throwing it from your shoulder haha great video mate
Great vid. I have got two new large nets now, that I made redundant a few years ago, because they were too heavy. You are the only UA-camr that I have seen, that uses two methods for different size and weight nets. Good onya
Sammy Hitzke Fishing i have been learning to cast net ur video was great. I taught myself to throw and i got 2 nets a 4 ft. And 12ft. I throw the smaller one like you like a frisbee. The big one i havent mastered but ill do it like you when i do. Big net throw small net throw it feels more natural to me

Sir I have been doing the simple traditional method with uneasy, now with your methods I can do tremendously, mine is 12' ft . Thank you very much again and again for your valuable tutorial, with love from Wangkhei Imphal Manipur, India.
Been trying for days with other techniques till I tried yours mate and first cast was perfect! Bowt to head out to try get a feed and came across your vid with shauno catchin em in Caboolture. Awesome vids mate, know everything I need to know for this prawning season 👌
Great demo, nice technique! I use a similar method, but instead of putting part of the net over my shoulder, I place it in my teeth, it works. I wish you could show us how to through the net a further distance using your method....
Thats fine after the first cast but starts getting gross after mud hits and you are still trying to put shit in your mouth. Thats some boss fisher shit that aint kissin nobody.
mate I reckon a 6 or 7ft net would be a good place to start. as you get taller and stronger you find the bigger nets easier to throw. but while your still learning a smaller one would be the go I reckon
I am from Indonesia, and I really enjoyed watching your video. Good Job....👍👍👍
thanks for that! Good stuff, easy to understand and no fluffing around.
Thanks for the quick instruction! Short, simple, and to the point. Good clean landings too!

Just a question what would be the ideal size cast net for a 12 year old beginner?
mate I reckon a 6 or 7ft net would be a good place to start. as you get taller and stronger you find the bigger nets easier to throw. but while your still learning a smaller one would be the go I reckon
Amazing demo.
Can I throw the 1st method using my right-hand instead of left? I got 5 and 8 feet nets; and can't throw the 8footer yet.
You certainly can, you just have to do it all the exact opposite and you'll be right! good luck with it!
Bạn ở vùng nào ?.chài lưới của bạn bao nhiêu kg ? .
