Funny story. Many years ago, like Decades Ago, I was working at a BBQ restaurant in Atlanta GA. And the way the place was laid out I was cooking on a grill and about 10' away customers would sit at a bar and order food. Anyway I was cooking and talking to the Pit Master having a conversation and this woman screams over the counter "Can you just shut up and fix My Sandwich!", I looked over the counter and Said. " What Country are You From? In Our Country We have something called Freedom of Speech!" She was like I am going to get you Fired. I Said " I would like to see them try to Fire me for exercising My Right to Freedom of Speech!" Other customers laughed Heartily and she got quiet, Ate her sandwich and left...

@@linsqopiring6816 Not as big a difference as you may think. Very often, CCTV images will be released to the public when the owner wants to. The police routinely release CCTV to TV stations when trying to identify someone or a vehicle for instance. Same with local govt.

I myself have been in law enforcement for 20 years and what I see today is officers acting outside the color of law or the spirit of the law. Meaning that, “Just because you CAN do something, doesn’t mean that you should. Just because you CAN do something doesn’t make it morally right.”
We all have an internal moral and ethical compass. And if you’re a law enforcement officer, it’s expected by the people that you serve. This is a fundamental and essential part of being a public servant… of righty upholding the public trust and interest.
There’s no wonder the police (considered once as a friend to the people) have been viewed so negatively in recent times. Collectively, their actions have cost them the very confidence of the people. As a consequence, the few remaining good and decent officers, that honour their oath, now struggle to do a job that they were entrusted to do.
Police today look to strip the average citizens of the very rights that they swore to protect. They do it and justify it in simple conversations with them. What you say to an officer today will absolutely be used against you in the courtroom tomorrow.
The officers that comb our streets, sworn to protect us, are now purging our citizens and jailing them for the smallest offences. Offences that are not commonly known by the general public. Reason being, because our laws change so often. Not just from year to year, but in many cases from day to day. Most of the offences that are committed daily, by the vast majority of the population, are unknown by the general public (not common knowledge)as illegal and are so small that they truthfully shouldn’t have been placed in our statutes as a law to begin with.
This gives officers the weapons they need to give R.A.S. (Reasonable Articulable Suspension) to demand your identification, and lawfully justifying their orders for you to provide it to them under, THREAT OF ARREST.
Your 4th Amendment Rights are stripped away and you are left with hefty legal fees and fines which then finance the city and state to hire more officers and give pay increases to those who already exist on the force. It’s a vicious cycle that has no means to a good end. And it all starts with the initial contact and their questions. They take what you say and manipulate it to fit a narrative that justifies their tyrannical behaviour. It’s no longer, “To Protect & Serve”, it’s “To Harass & Threaten”.
REMEMBER… Your Constitutional Rights are like muscles. 💪🏼 If you don’t flex them, they will eventually go away. If you know that you’re truly standing on the high ground, don’t get tricked or lured into the valley of wrong. Stay aware, stay safe, and never give in to tyranny.
