Yes, it is always good to include pranayama with your practice. If you're practicing with our regular classes, Pranayama will always be included in the beginning of the session. In the special series, we have not included pranayama, so you can practice that separately, before or after the class. We have a separate pranayama series which you can use.

I told that it will help in weight loss because there is a video on weight loss by sivananda yoga in which almost all these exercises are included.
