I, too, love the green! And you are so smart to be working on your personal debt at such a young age. So much money goes to fees and interest when you can't pay fully for purchases. I'm much older than the two of you, but being debt free has brought me so much peace of mind. You guys rock! ☺
agreed, Janice! we're chipping away!
I too am a little older. We are trying to get rid of all the things we accumulated over 31 years in the same house. We never really used a lot of the things we bought over that time and just wasted all that money!
I love your gentle teaching style and creative ideas. Glad you are back to flipping furniture!
Teacher's training! 🙂 I bet you never guessed it would add to your future "screen presence."
The piece looks great. Luv the wood tiles. In the future, I would just suggest finding the center of the draw and the center of a wood tile, line them up, and then work outwards. That way, you'll have tiles that are equal sizes on each end.
Totally agree and noted a comment about this. Lauren, please learn to do this. I have seen many of your pieces that do not have design elements centered. I would not buy something that is not centered, it would drive me crazy looking at it.
Love how you’ve used the rectangle blocks on the top drawers ❤
I wasn't sure where you were going with this piece, but it did turn out beautifully. The piece would be a perfect addition to a young person's room. It's hard to find six drawer dressers that look this good.
This really worked. And now that I know you both have the other source discussing paying down debt, I am proud of you. So proud to see you discuss this process together. It is a big part of business and responsible life, isn't it? Stay well and that green is a marvel with the texture.
This is my top 5 favorite pieces that you've done! So creative!
I’m not a mid-century modern or a green person but you did a really nice job on the dresser. I love your attention to detail. Thanks Lauren
I would like to make a suggestion. When you do a design, such as laying these little tiles on the drawer fronts, you should find the center of the drawer front and line up the center of a row of tiles on it THEN go left and right, laying the tiles. Then you would not end up with one side that is smaller than the other side. This goes for anything, like laying a decorator shelf liner or other product. Start in the middle and work your way out, left and right. I would not buy a piece of furniture where the design is off like this. It would drive me crazy, haha
You are so clever! I love that you sign your work.
I appreciate so very much you’re leaving in Clips of things that didn’t work like you planned etc. That is so important. That helps us learn what to do too. Thank you for not being a person who lets their ego get in the way of doing good work🤗👍🏼👏🏼
I love the result! Can’t wait to see allllll kinds of textured pieces in future videos. So cool. Great job!
🎉Well that was fun!!!🎉 I love that you’re getting even more creative!! It looks amazing!! 👏🏼 Great Job!⭐️
It turned out beautiful! The little wooden blocks and the color, amazing!
It’s very pretty! Green is my favorite color 💚 Glad that it sold so quickly!!!
You are my flippin, favorite, Furniture Flipping Teacher! Also, great video editing job!
I really liked your nail polish, Lauren. Also loved the dresser! Great creativity.
I love the color and the texture on the drawers. Great idea!!! I really like dixie belle paint.
I love to watch you! It gets my creativity going! I plan to change the color of my dressers! I'll send a photo when I do! Thank you for being inspiring! Love every dresser
I love this! Congratulations on the vision coming to fruition.
Wow, love it! Great job on this piece!
We had a dresser a lot like that growing up, but it was a triple dresser. Unfortunately, both my parents smoked, so I didn't want it in my home after my parents passed away.
This one came out so good. I wasn’t sure about those tiles at first, but in the end. Wow!
I learn something new from you everytime I watch. I was wondering how to fix wood that gives a smooth repair. Thank you so much!!!
I love your work, you take so much pride in your work and it shows in how great your furniture turns out. Not sure what your doing but you are looking great
thanks! I appreciate you!
The piece looks great and you look fit!
One word "Stunning". Green is such an understated colour. I love it even my nail polish is green it's so fresh. I would deffinately like to do a project on 2 bed side lockers start of small.
Green is such an underated colour.
So cool! Beautiful
Love it, Lauren, you just gave an idea with this design. I have a dresser that I’ve been wanting to give it a face lift for quite a while 😅
Such a smart idea! Odds and sods like those blocks can be found almost anywhere.
Love it! Also, I’m inspired by your fitness journey. ❤
They got a unique, beautiful, forever piece.
Yes, beautiful.
Love the colour 😊
IM OBSESSED-with MidCentury furniture! This may be a Kent Coffey piece but usually it’s stamped on inside
Lauren, you are looking so good with the weight loss and exercise regiment you are on. This was a great flip. So glad you and Neiman are back to the beginning.
thank you Dorothy!!
Loved it. Lauren happy looks so good on you.
Oh thank you!
This was my favorite flip! You're such a professional! I loooooove it!

Another enthusiastic thumbs up for the green! And the texture! Really nice way to class up the dresser!
Thank you! Cheers!
I love the design aspect of this dresser! You. Nailed it!!!!! Great idea of paying off personal debt!!

I wasn’t sure about the color until the end, it’s beautiful!
I LOVE the green!!!
I've noticed the change in your personal style also with your cute little top knot and your nails
Love the green dresser!!!🎉
Love that color!
Very nice and so creative of you. Love the color. Great job
Thanks so much 😊
I was going to say the same thing about a child's room.
I think that would look so cool.
Love the color 😍
Wild color wild piece yet turned out amazing 🤗💕
Seriously impressed.
Beautiful work but you never disappoint !
I love it!! Wasn’t sure at first but it turned out great! 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you! Cheers!
That Green is 💯💚
That’s probably my most favorite piece you’ve done so far! Beautiful
Beautiful
Very creative! I’m not much for green but this green really is special. Looks great and very appealing with the wood blocks. Whoever bought it got a great deal. Congratulations 🎊🎉 ❤
thanks, Tawny! appreciate your kindness & support!
Well, done seriously, very well done❣️❣️❣️👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
OOOO LOVE THE BLOCKS ON THE DRAWERS. GOOD CALL.
Thank you!!
It looks amazing...👌
I love it
Genius!
Did I say I love love it I love it
Great flip!!
Thanks!!
Beautiful …Dixie Belle is my favorite paint to use.
Thanks! Yes, they have some great products!
OMG i HAVE THIS EXACT DRESSER ..sitting in my hall just waiting for a flip idea !
And names stamped on inside drawers??
I have this exact dresser and also the chest of drawers.
I love the colour of the blocks and the dresser. Admittedly I was thinking you would go for a contrasting colour for the rest of the dresser and leave the colourful tiles unpainted or even sanded top drawers (after painting green) slightly to get the hint of colours beneath. It made me think that I haven’t seen you do much children’s furniture. I love your work
that would be a fun unique idea!
It would be great for a child’s room. Tip!! Don’t paint it white for a toddler.
@@FurnitureFlippingTeacher I was channelling Lego 😁
Weekday a Fun change!
Nice work and good business sense.
thanks, Gina!
Love the Green 💚👍🙂
thanks!
That is so cool!!
Thanks!
Very very Cool!!!!
Great idea with the tiles and I love the color. You always do a great job on the details.
@FurnitureFlippingTeacher1_ I hope I have messaged you correctly. Thank you Brenda Barber
@FurnitureFlippingTeacher1_ for some reason I can’t sent an email
hey Brenda! this is spam. please be sure to watch out for things like this. people or bots like to make copied accounts and get you to message them etc. please know we will never ask you to email us or contact us via telegram. be careful out there!
Thank you so much for the information.
Such a great color and finished piece. I am mid,-century and so sorry we donated almost a whole house worth of MC pieces a while back.
A real dust trap as designed. Shame you didn't make the tiles flush with the edges!
Big thumbs again. Sorry.
I love this idea! I have the perfect piece.
The drawers could be a pain to dust, but just use some Dust Off and you won’t have issues.
Nice job!
The dresser looks nice. I had to go see if my mid-century modern dresser had plastic legs! It doesn't.
Interesting idea. I thought the wood veneer on the drawers was pretty neat to begin with as well.
yeah it was! just needed a little love (:
Probably should have sanded each block + the fronts of the dressers before gluing them together, for the same reason you sanded the top. They were too smooth and popped off when you tried to trim the ends off. Anyway, i really like your videos. I'm inspired!
Good thought. It is hard to believe Lauren didn't think of that herself when the tiles came flying off when trying to cut the tiles around the edge of the drawer. But at times,I think she gets ahead of herself.
I agree. I see these little tiles popping off in the future because she did not sand them properly.
Clever
Looks good, but I was disappointed that that great contrasting inlay wood grain was painted over!
I really enjoy your channel
I agree. I would have rather had the center of each drawer with the different wood design be highlighted by a different color or just left with the wood grain instead of the little blocks glued on.
I’m learning how to do this but I have a hard time choosing handles , and the ones I want are pretty expensive which leave me with little profit, could you do a video saying where u get ur handles from and which styles work for you thanks
I would love to know if your little seat has a variable height setting, maker, and where one can be obtained? This would be great for someone with low back issues, and/or knee issues. Personally I could get a lot more accomplished if I could find a really good one.
Thank you for any help you can give in this matter.
You should sell on Etsy. Higher profit and quicker sells.
Have you ever tried liquid sandpaper as a pre-painting step after cleaning? I was toying with trying it as I don't really have an appropriate space for sanding larger pieces.
Wow! But these tiles looked great unpainted as well)
I think so too! That would be fun!
Hello. How do you deal with the paint in winter?
Thinking your title may be on the wrong video?!
Great flip. Love the green!
why do you say that?
@Furniture Flipping Teacher The title says $8 dollar goodwill find. At the beginning you say $75 dollar marketplace find. It doesn't match up
@@lizroman1234 she paid $8 for the blocks
I thought the same thing until I watched the whole video then I understood the title.
A question…. I noticed snow on the ground… what was the temperature when you sprayed the furniture? I am always wanting to spray, but cautious when it is colder….wondering how much the temperatures effect the finished product. Thank you! Turned out beautiful, as always! - Jill
Our weather here in NE is very tricky! Yes, we got 8 inches of snow a few days before filming this but when I sprayed it was 50 degrees! I never spray in weather colder than 45 degrees F
Great question!
How do you like the cordless Ryobi sander?
Oh dear! I was thinking the colored tiles would look so GROOVY MAN FARM OUT AND FUNKY! TeeHeeB~}
lol that would be a fun look!
Did you do some thing to your hair? I guess because its up. Looks good!
thanks! It's the same (:
Don't know how you thought of it, but it is a totally cool MCM dresser!
thank you! It just popped into my head! 🤗
@@FurnitureFlippingTeacher That head is a pretty awesome place.🙂
❤️❤️❤️
What did you end up cutting the tiles with? I missed that part.
my multi tool
How much total time would you say it spent on the rehab?
probably around 6-7 hours
Hi, I love your mask, how could I get one like yours and one for men too?
Hulda from Puerto Rico
Yeah! I'm not sure if they ship to Puerto Rico but there is a link to my RZ Mask in the description!
