You will forever remember the day with Nana and Mom. Knowing they were with you will touch your heart every time you see the mirror, framed art and even the cute pots. ❤
Wow, garage sales are a great thing) It's very convenient to have a special date for them when people can come, see, compare, buy something they want and immediately take to their homes. In my country, the so-called 'boutiques' are very popular. It means that people just put their old furniture near trash containers next no their block of flats, some other people post photos on social networks, and DIYers come, take, flip and then show the result, and everybody really admires. If a person says "I found it in a boutique', it means 'on the landfill' 😄😄😄 I found some things for the flat I rent in such a boutique 😂, and now I'm busy repairing them.
Those canvas prints with snow scene and house and rabbit are Thomas Kincade paintings. They are worth a lot of money. Esp since he is no longer alive! ❤😂🎉❤
Such a sweet video of Mom and Nana. You will cherish the memories. (Pretty sure Nana scored a spider plant baby. The large plants send off long shoots, with babies on the ends, which you can remove, and start a new plant.) xo
I think your mirror might have come from a store called Blattners in Columbia, Missouri! And the arabic looking paintings might be of Morroco which was a popular tourist place to go many decades ago!
Painting on velvet was originally practiced by early priests, who perfected techniques for depicting religious ceremonies and subjects. However, thanks to Edgar Leetag, who painted many velvet paintings in Tahiti and sold them to American sailors, the art form resurfaced and grew in popularity. Actually, it was done in the 50s and late 60s into the 70s is was very popular. Tons of Elvis pictures on velvet 😅
Fun sale. You are very disciplined in your shopping. 🤭. I would have been grabbing a lot more of those bargains. Make sure you give your used pots a good wash before you repot your 🌱 plants, it’s always a good idea to wash them or clean them with a bleach solution. It protects your plants from any leftover bacteria. Thanks for sharing your video. 🥰
Hi Lauren. I love your channel and I’m subscribed for sooo long. I never commented on your videos because I usually I watch it on my tv and I can’t comment. But, now when you showed these two paintings in about 25.25 timeline my heart skipped a beat. This looks like Old Town of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. And the one with bridge is Old Bridge in Mostar that UNESCO protected heritage, real jewel of Ottoman architecture, designed by architect Hayrudin, student of Mimar Sinan, one of the greatest architects in history. I hope now you can see these paintings having much more value than 25c 😊
Friends of mine furnished their vacation home with used items, including towels, sheets, etc. It was amazing! Good luck on your journey to do the same.
Fun stuff and I love to look at what people buy. Interesting items the different places had. I am glad you had a great family day out that is always the best part!
As a beginner furniture flipper, thank you for your content! I’d love to know a breakdown of your tax-paying process, including what percentage of your profits go to taxes and if you pay quarterly or not. I feel flippers don’t talk about this enough and the numbers can be deceiving. Thank you again!
I really enjoyed this video content. I mean I love watching you transform furniture for sure, but this was really fun content, watching you and the family search for treasures!! Thanks for sharing 😊
5:00 I've bought tons of canvases; spray painted them white and then painted over them. Or made collages. Those Christmas ones, you could put ornaments, buttons, spray adhesive and sprinkle iridescent glitter on them, add a red bow, whatever. Or do two of them with similar Christmas themes and hang one above the other with a wide red ribbon between the two and a split ribbon at the bottom or a little Christmas ornament hanging from the bottom. ETC. Collage is my "thang." Love your sweatshirt! I lived in Tampa for many years and I LOVED Clearwater! Thanks for the memory! 7:35 Shout out to Hairy Tornado! I watch him and Hailey as well! And Mose, of course. (I hope I'm spelling Hailey right.) 11:33 Piano stool!!🎶🎵🎹 18:00 That's interesting! What IS it? A salt cellar? Looks like Cinderella's pumpkin.
Wow, lots of stuff for the air BNB in those sales; small appliances, pots/pans, dishes and glasses.... No where near that many sales near me. You are so lucky!
interesting that you think I am not wearing underwear...not sure how you would even know that or why you would assume that. Not sure why you ended up focusing on that aspect of the video instead of what it was truly about.
And neither older woman had the sense to tell her that short shorts on an overweight woman NOT in the club are wildly inappropriate? Going to people's private homes with families coming to buy? And not to stare at a meaty gina in your face? And video the whole thing fir the world to see ? Disgusting!
Those pictures you said were on felt look like a style from the 1950’s 1960’s paintings on velvet. Very retro. Very cool. I bet they are worth something.
If you ever find yourself near Route 90 near Auroa, NY in late July, there is a 50 mile yard sale! It's amazing 😊! I love watching your channel Lauren❤😊
@Amy Bucher I know because we have driven that route every year for the past 23 years for a family party on Cayuga Lake. The other upside to it ,if you still have energy left from "yard saling" MacKenzie Childs is right there too! Aurora and the surrounding area is stunning as well! Finger Lakes Boat Rental has a large fleet of boats and accessories to rent, if your looking to spend a few days on the water !
The pair of paintings on Velvet are more than likely mid 1960’s, fancy Paint by numbers kits. They are a niche collectors group. Paintings on Velvet AND Paint by Numbers collectors. They are a hoot
OMGoodness! It looks and sounds like that Gorgeous Mirror is a Beveled Leaded Glass Mirror from the Art Deco Period. It is hard to tell but the frame looks hand carved. I don’t know the maker. I don’t recommend that you hang it in the Air BNB or the Rental without FIRST researching its value first. Leaded Glass is far superior to tempered glass. Tempered glass breaks like regular glass. BUT leaded glass is the best. Congrats on an epic haul! B~}
Hey, what part of Missouri did y'all go? The reason I ask is because I'm from Missouri, and when you said there were so many right in a row I thought, no they didn't go to the 100 mile yard sale, did they. Cause if you had then you were really close to where we live. If you can remember any of the towns let me know. So glad your mom and nana went with y'all. Your mom seems like she is so much fun from seeing her in y'all's videos.
Weird comment, I realize. But the first yard sale had sheets hanging up to block off stuff that wasn’t for sale. I have the pillowcases to those sheets, I picked them from a home of a friend who passed l Iove them and would love to have those sheets!! Ok, carry on 😂

yes they are, i left them a comment above that I would look these up, since he has now passed away even his prints on canvas can go for several thousand.
Most definitely check before you paint over them. He was so popular with so much Kinkade things and who knows now since he has passed away. @Furniture Flipping Teacher
@@FurnitureFlippingTeacher someone out there will be interested I bet! I have a Thomas Kinkade print I bought a few years ago that’s going to go up in my living room. He’s got some beautiful stuff, even if that particular canvas isn’t the nicest. (It’s certainly not my favourite!)

The mirror is my favorite ❤ I think it’s really nice that you , your Mom & Grandma hang out together. Family is so important. 🥰

How lucky are you to still have your Mom AND your Nana along.❤

I love yard sales! I think the first painting from Mexico could be cleaned and would be much brighter. It looks like it's covered in smoke. 😊
It was a three generation garage sale trip! Just a suggestion.....hang the mirror lengthwise. Once cleaned up it will be beautiful.
Love your channel, i am learning alot, I did my first French Provincial nightstands and sold them both the same week separately
Yes! That's what it is all about!
We're happy to have you here! Keep learning and keep flipping! The rest will take care of itself ✨
What great family adventure. Love the mirror and artwork❤

Those velvet paintings look very much like paint-by-numbers.
I love waterfall dressers. I refinished 2 night stands and 1 dresser in this style.
Nice! They are very pretty dressers! And sell well 😁

Love the mirror!! I can't wait to go to yard sales with my bestie!
I seriously thought you were wearing underwear🤣 I was like what happened to her pants!😯 I blame it on my lack of sleep!
She didn’t have underwear on underneath the shorts (sigh) I don’t understand….if you’re making a video, wear real clothes.
interesting that you think I am not wearing underwear...not sure how you would even know that or why you would assume that. Not sure why you ended up focusing on that aspect of the video instead of what it was truly about.

It’s easy to replace the backing on the mirror. Craft paper, glue and a damp sponge.
First time viewer. I love you editing style. The collage framing is nice.
Great video! Great haul! My favorite

The mirror you got can be placed as a centerpiece reflecting fruit or flowers
I have the same mirror, same brand. I have 3 of them, they are from the 1960s not that old(definitely not 100 yrs old) but still cool! Good find!❤
The frames alone are worth the finds!!
Loved this! This is awesome! Great video.
Snake plants are easy to take care of good for the air in the home
we have a few! 😀
You give great advice on the canvasses! AND a great deal! I’m seriously jealous of your Garage/Yard Sale Adventure! So fun! B~}
I think the Velvet pictures are from 60's and 70's
We'll be sure to do some research as well! They sure do seem like a product of that time era.

1960's for the velvet paintings.
And probably paint by numbers
What a blast this would be!
I love Hairy Tornado!!
I really like that mirror. You got some nice deals!
You look just like Mom and Nana!
Painting over the Thomas Kinkade canvas prints? He is iconic.
They are prints.

Those prints for 50 cents each look like Thomas Kinkade. Not sure I didn't see them long enough to tell.
yes they are, i left them a comment above that I would look these up, since he has now passed away even his prints on canvas can go for several thousand.

I'm afraid those Kinkade prints are mass reproduction copies, not original. Similar to a poster of a famous painting
Great prices!
Good job!!!😊❤
Middle of nowhere, MO… did you see the Ozarks? ❤
I can't believe no one commented about your hand in the spitoon!😮 Hope you brought sanitizer!
Cool video! How did you find out about 20 yard/garage sales in one day? I live just over the state line & would have loved to do this.
They have it each year and my Nana lives pretty close so she told me about it!
I love your sweatshirt. I live in Florida
Missouri?! I'm from Missouri, Kansas City. Actually, Raytown. It's just outside of KC.
Andersonville, Tennessee here!

Good job! 👏🌟👏🌟👏
I play June’s Journey! It’s a great game. I loved the old oval mirror you found. Thank you for taking us along on your adventures!
Lauren sage the mirror before you hang it
As a reseller, tbh, harry tornado makes more money off yt than eBay. Do with that as you Like lol
oh be careful what you put in your arbnb that old mirror could get stolen real fast .its not wise to put very old antiques in an airbnb
The mirror has beveled glass. Its old.
Wahoo, Wa cheer for UVA (University of Virginia), Charlottesville, Virginia
That’s an old mirror!
U r like me, love old, soft worn shirts etc.
what part of Missouri thats where im at.

Your old paintings just might be liquid embroidery from the 80's. Ask around.
