To clarify, yes you can still buy a Series 3 Apple Watch, but it's not 'new' as in the most current model available
but it ´d made much more sense in this setup, and for that price it´s amazing

Autumn Leaf I can’t tell about the average income, but the minimum salary is around R$ 1000, the MacBook Air in Brazil costs around R$11,000.00. Apple prices in Brazil are crazy high. That’s why people that can afford go overseas buy on the United States. Even with the dolar high ah hell for Brazilians, it would cost about 60% of the price in Brazil. For this and so many other reasons I left Brazil and came to Canada. But I still feel sad about everything that happens there.
This is true in some countries. This is why some people say "An Apple product a year makes your money disappear." This is why I am extremely careful about my purchases (Apple/otherwise) here in the US.

For me as a student the iPad with the apple pencil is really enough to do my work on it..i'm happy.
I use my iPad Pro more than I ever used my previous laptops in my classes. Super versatile. I wish I did this when I first got to college.

Fun fact if you buy every piece of specked out apple tech including all airpods, homepods, Apple TV’s, and iPad pencil and keyboard it would come out to 116,048 dollars. Please note that for products that have more than 1 size but are essentially the same piece of tech I just choose the lager one. Ex. I choose the iPad Pro 12.9 over the 11 in this test.

My neighbor recently gave me her 'broken' 2011 21.5 inch Imac (just had to reinstall MacOS and ssd while I was at it) and I stumbled on your videos and followed your lead and upgraded the CPU, GPU and memory to the maximum (also flashed the GPU and upgraded to Catalina which was a bit of a pain). I wanted to try some of the features and continuity so I got a renewed Iphone 7 and an upgraded bluetooth 4.0 wireless card to play around with. Then I figured I might as well go all in and got a refurbished 10.5 inch 2017 Ipad pro from apple along with a apple pencil + airpods.
So now in just the last few weeks I'm somehow become pretty much all the way in the apple ecosystem for super cheap. The last apple product I had was the Ipad 2 back in the day. I always felt some envy seeing the imacs in stores but I couldn't justify like 2 grand for one especially when you could get a beastly gaming pc for cheaper, but I now can say it is really nice. Even if the stuff I have is considered somewhat outdated. lol
I just got a late 2013 fully specked 27" imac for 600$, its awsome:) I also have a 2011 macbook pro, and an XS from 2018 I think. Never tried the pen and the pods though:)

As someone with an M1 Air, iPhone SE 2, and iPad 8th gen, I can confirm this is an extremely solid ecosystem for student tasks, productivity, and fun. It's awesome.

The ipad is gets expensive when you add in the cost of the pencil and the keyboard or folio. I hope theyre able to quash down the prices of the accessories as time goes on
you can always go for third party accessories... I dont know about the pen but I have a 20$ keyboard and it lasted 2 years so far and is great

Note: my actual 32Gb SE was an Xmas 2018 gift, and was my first iPhone.
I love both its size and form factor (my fav ever)... not to mention the way it has handled with ease all iOS updates so far.

Same got in Christmas 2018, but my main difference is that my mum kept “borrowing money” off me and never repaid me so in March of this Year (2020 if you’re watching in a few years time) My mum got me an 11 Pro, I was thinking of picking her up an SE later this year, once lockdown is over and I could get a job

And the new iPad 7 128GB was available in my country for 370$.
So it was a pretty good deal for me.
iPad 7 is still a wonderful device if you are short of bucks but the more storage space , laminated display, promotion features made me buy the pro 10.5.
I personally think if you can add few more bucks, it's a better choice.
But in the end it all depends on what you want from your machine.

That iPad is the tech deal of the century. Using it purely as a media machine (kinda like a spare wireless TV), the processor doesn’t matter. That’s how I use mine- no email, no iMessage, etc. - just UA-cam, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, my cable TV app, etc.

1. In my country, (sadly) it's not safe to show an expensive phone while on the street. My iPhone 5 is way smaller than my Note 9, so I use it when I run errands (I work from home), because it fits less conspicuously in my pocket.
2. I. Use the iPhone for actual phone calls since it's lighter than the Note, so I can hold it more confortably.
3. I have two phone lines, and my note 9 only has one sim slot..
4. I use the iPhone as an iPod when I go jogging.

It always boggles the mind that after all these years you still need something like "clean my Mac", you'd have thought Apple would have built in better cleanup into their file system by now. I'm still amazed that there is junk still left when you "uninstall" a program on OSX, it's not good enough.

I started out with an iPod touch 5th gen in 2013... now I got the 2017 MacBook Pro, iPhone XS, Apple Watch S4, iPad 10.2”....the Apple ecosystem locked me in
You should do the most expensive set up, and max out everything, probably run you like 10k but it would be interesting to see
I had iPhone SE in the past with which i tried to drop android. Used it for a month and gave up. Mostly because of lack of customizability (like functions on home button) and very poor Apps for things i need. But i bought ipad mini for my wife as birthday gift and shes extremely happy with it.
I'm not a fan of Apple at all. But I really like my 2018 9"7 iPad. It runs totally smoth over a year now. iOS/iPadOS are really nice Operating systems.
I would consider getting an iPhone SE if i wouldn't have got a new Smartphone.
The Macbook Air is a really slim and lightweight device, but I would never buy it. It is too weak for more demanding tasks and too expensive for it's hardware. And the Apple Watch is just too expensive. If it was half the price, then maybe. But 400$ for a Smartwatch is just too much.

7:05 BTW All iPads contain the 12 watt power adapter, but the “baby” charger is a 5 watt adapter. It doesn’t provide enough juice to power an iPad (my iPad Air 3 actually LOOSES charge from a 5 watt adapter)

If you are in University and wants an iphone and macbook you can go for the SE and Air, the Apple watch is not necessary but if you do exercise buy the apple watch the ipad i think that is not necessary cause in the Mac Air you can do everything
2000 dollars is a lot of money, but these are devices that you'll be using all day everyday for years to come, and when you think of it in that way it seems alright. (imo)
I'm surprised you didn't get the Series 3. It's still on sale starting $199 for the 38mm and $229 for 42mm. I think for most people it's still a solid choice to get if you can't get a Series 5 watch.

Best Buy constantly sells the 10.2 iPad for $249 (as opposed to $329). Also Best Buy was selling the series 5 for $100 off just last week
My Apple ecosystem system consists of 2018 iPad Pro 11 ($450), 2017 mid-grade 13” MacBook Pro ($900), XS Max 256gb ($1,300), iPhone se 2 (free through work), and Apple Watch series 3 ($250). Not a bad ecosystem for $2,900 for very solid and recent hardware. Spend some time cruising pawn shops to find killer deals like I did, except I got my XS Max new.
I have noticed an incredible difference in the iPhone se battery charge speed and even the battery life being immensely different and I’ve owned nearly every iPhone ever! Glad I chose this over the 11 pro

Larger size of iPad may A10 work with high performance for longer periods. Because heat of processor may evenly generate heat on the surface of the back cover, where the hands usually do not put
It's sad watching these videos with US pricing that makes this stuff sound affordable but the reality for us in Australia is much different. Macbook Air starts at $1599, iPhone SE starts at $749, iPad starts at $529 and Apple Watch starts at $649. All up $3526 if you buy all of the base models. Still not too bad, if you buy a 12.9 inch iPad Pro with maxed out specs that’ll set you back $2749 but that’s before you add on $589 for the magic keyboard or $219 for the Apple Pencil 2.
technology evolved to the point that entry level devices can do most of the daily tasks. Competition and services focusing are also part of the equation.
Still, for the smallest % who wants ( and knows how to extract) the best bang for the buck, used devices are still the ones to go for.

From my viewpoint, one can get a 128 go iPad Pro 2020 11-inch model in place of 10.2 inch ipad as you get other options of magic keyboard, Apple Pencil 2 and USB-C. You might not need the MacBook Air. The iPhone SE and watch can remain.

Currently I’m using an iPhone 11pro, 6th gen iPad LTE, 2020 MacBook Air and a series 1 Apple Watch. Haven’t had a reason to upgrade my Apple Watch but I may with the Apple Watch SE coming out.
This is very true. I ended up buying an entry level 16” MacBook Pro as no matter how I was setting up the 13” MacBook Pro i just couldn’t get the value of the 16” one. I kind of wanted a TB storage, but reaching to the 16” I was already stretching my budget heavily. But no regrets yet. And I rarely need to take it out of the house, so plugging in external drives to back up older projects is fine.
Managed to get a 2019 MacBook Air for 1200+free beats studio 3 and it’s genuinely the best laptop I’ve ever had, absolutely love it
$2,130 sounds a lot but that’s a phone tablet laptop and smart watch. That’s great for parents and grandparents because they synchronize well together and it won’t break their bank

The iphone SE also has a 4k camera (look at the apple ad if you don't believe me) but it just doesn't have 3 lenses. The 2 other lenses are dark and wide mode.

Just for info. The ipad pro 10.5" has an A10X chip not the normal A10. You can compare the A10X performance wise to the A12 which is being used in the iPad Air + iPad Mini.
Replace the SE with OnePlus 8 pro and Apple Watch with the galaxy watch active 2, theres only a 100 dollar difference between the SE and OP 8 Pro in India

The price difference between the USA and france is unbelievable. The I pad starts at 400 euros in france . With the change it's 432 $.Same with the new MBA wich cost 1200 euros in france where if you calculate you can get at 800 euros with the change in the USA
I would say that the iPhone SE is far better than the iPhone X just for the fact it has a physical button. The lack of TouchID and the similar interface of a button has probably kept many people from buying into that newer market but this gives those people an opportunity to upgrade with the same features of their iPhone 6, 7 or 8
For the iPad, we had a big jump on performance and everything. We had a ipad 2(2012) version and got the 10.2” iPad (max out) version and so better and not slow at all.
I use the iPad 10.2 & I use it as a laptop alternative. When I don't want to carry my MacBook, the iPad does most of my tasks.

My setup is a 2013 MacBook Air,iPad Air 1st gen, and the new SE in white. Crazy to think my SE could be the most powerful apple product in my set up LOL.

The A10 fusion chip actually works pretty great in 2020. I bought that iPad 7after my iPad mini 5 with A12 Bionic and my iPhone 11 with A13.
I’d say the fusion A10 chip performs fast and smooth even with heavy apps compared to even the A12 , only A13 blows them away by a lot. But this doesn’t make them bad at all. Much better than androids even from this year.
