I enjoyed that! Very interesting story. I hope we can see more on here, please. I watch here more than tv. What a horrible way for man to die. The crime speaks of passion. No expert, here.
If you're going to be a Playboy, let EVERY-ONE that you "play" with know that if there choose to play around with you... they'll only be ONE of your playmates 💯
This woman got a measly seven years for brutally beating a man to death with a crescent wrench… Had it been a man he would have spent the rest of his life in jail…. What a farce.
This guy was bold as he had a picture of his "girlfriend" on the nightstand but would bring his side pieces into the bedroom? Sounds like he wasn't hiding his activities? Unfortunately i guess she was unable to handle it.
He had the bad fortune of having a relationship with a married woman. Jealousy is a killer. Lance didn't deserve to die, he just should have been more select in who he slept with.
I hope the prosecution had an abundance of evidence against this defendant other than the statements made by her admittedly "contentious" ex-husband and his mother because both of these people would be highly motivated to lie about her. She very well may be the murderer, but I just hope they didn't rely too much on the word of two people who clearly hated her!
Today the DNA under his nails would have been enough. Also the DNA on him after she told the police that she did not go to his house that night. She said it more than once. She was pissed because he wanted his car back . She also took his computer and credit card. Said he dropped it off at 9 o'clock. People said he was working till 1030 on his computer. You get it now right.
@@waypay1 that’s literally all conjecture there’s no way in hell she should have been found guilty in a court of law with zero evidence not even evidence of malice or intent. Do I THINK she did it, yeah, but that’s feelings there are no facts
@@fmgmack Evidence and facts are 2 different things. If it was conjecture, there would be no evidence. There's plenty of evidence; there's just not a video of her killing him.
She's a mother to a daughter. A wife. And she's sitting there laughing and joking about the having an affair. Laughing and joking when there's a person murdered. Yuck
@@dranchd6571 That's how some people cope. It's not out of disrespect, it's just their "way". No one grieves or deals with stress in the same way. That's why I question "behavioral experts". No one acts or reacts the same way under stress! Similar, sometimes, but different and some reactions are rare. It's one way we are all unique.
@@dannschmit8604 That same old trope. During her divorce she lied about having an affair with Herndon. She pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter, but she wasn't being disrespectful, just coping.
I agree. By which I mean: I don't know if she committed the crime, but the prosecution did not prove **beyond a reasonable doubt** that it was this woman who killed him. I think the case was extremely weak, with insufficient evidence to prove the case.
These are best of True Crime- as a white male raised in Baltimore in the 70s, a Black lady (Op for ex) has high cred. I like Snapped a whole lot, watched all thirty seasons, but I Love (love love) "Someone They Knew". Better presentation, production, and NO NONSENSE, or shall I say, No Oxygen!!!!!!!
I c the comments about this women Tamron Hall idk who she is but I'm sure she's great because all the comments r positive but this is still about someone who lost their life and was murdered like least show some respect.
😯 everyone does after one episode of whatever she does...been fan of hers for years. She was led to do these types of stories after the murder of her sister 😥. She's awesome at this, has 3 shows, one on prime TV, ch.7 and now Court TV.
Not True! A defendant...all defendants are highly discouraged from taking the stand. They begged Jussie Smollette not to take the stand, but his narcissistic need overtook good sense and he screwed himself!
I disagree. Juries are specifically instructed by the judge before the trial begins that everyone has THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT. Defendents are not obligated to take the stand, & juries are instructed that they are not allowed to interpret silence as guilt because American law entitles every person with the right to silence. The judge also instructs the jury that EVERYONE IS CONSIDERED INNOCENT UNLESS **PROVEN** GUILTY.

7 years for smashing his skull?? Plea deals should be banned.
This is why these cunts murder people, they know they'll probably only just get a slap on the wrist and get released easy and early. Fucked up injustice system.
Lance was a playa from the Himalayas!! 🤵🏾♂️
After watching atlanta playboy I ended up here😢 it's so sad
I enjoyed that! Very interesting story. I hope we can see more on here, please. I watch here more than tv. What a horrible way for man to die. The crime speaks of passion. No expert, here.
She should’ve kept her mouth shut and got an attorney …..
Love 💕 Tamron Hall Hosting her new show. Hugs to Moses proud of you. Much love 💕 always.
If you're going to be a Playboy, let EVERY-ONE that you "play" with know that if there choose to play around with you...
they'll only be ONE of your playmates 💯
Thank you. Thank you for uploading this show!!
He's not a sympathetic victim. I learned about this murder about 5 years ago. He used women
There is no excuse for murder.
@@annanderson7 didn't say there was
Whatever he did least he didn't murder anyone 🙄 so your comment is dumb because nobody deserves to be murdered
exactly
@@annanderson7yes there is…you can’t play with everyone’s heart
Happy to see Tamron Hall ❤️
Taron Hall, thank you for this series. Sooo good!!
This woman got a measly seven years for brutally beating a man to death with a crescent wrench…
Had it been a man he would have spent the rest of his life in jail….
What a farce.
I dont see how they can convict her on no evidence. There is room for reasonable doubt.
I had reasonable doubt in this case too.
Exactly!!
They had zero evidence to convict her...horrible jury
I remember this one! Great show!
I'm ready for another season of Someone They Knew with Tamron Hall
I really like this Series! A+
The prosecutor is fine… He can totally … let me be quiet..🤗
LOL 😂💕😉💕👌🏾..Clint, yesss, he was reallll fine back in the day!
Is it possible that she is innocent?
I think so.
No matter how foul.he was, his life was not hers to take. She was to covetous over his success
How can a prosecutor go to court without his license? How did his supervisors give him the case.
@@lyndawadsworth8572 Some of these people in here writing these comments want 5yrs in a writing jail for not listening to the evidence. 🤣🤣🤣
Some women just don't get it. If there isn't a ring on your finger and both say I do then Then both men and women are not obligated to each .
Exactly! Nobody owns another. I bet you she was fooling around with other men as well.
How did she do it though without leaving any compelling evidence or fingerprints behind?
She left hair on him and his bed, skin under his fingernails, and stole his laptop, which was found in her closet.
Tamron Hall💖
She's a mother to a daughter. A wife. And she's sitting there laughing and joking about the having an affair. Laughing and joking when there's a person murdered. Yuck
I believe there is reasonable doubt to find Dione not guilty
Police are talking to her about the murder of someone she was close to, and she laughs and jokes.
Exactly no physical evidence
I agree. By which I mean: I don't know if she committed the crime, but the prosecution did not prove **beyond a reasonable doubt** that it was this woman who killed him. I think the case was extremely weak, with insufficient evidence to prove the case.
I hate it when ppl with so much potential leave so soon in such a brutal manor 😢😢
What an elegant lady you are Tamron Hall.
I remember this also! I watched some of the trail.
You sow to the wind , you’re going to reap the whirlwind
These are best of True Crime- as a white male raised in Baltimore in the 70s, a Black lady (Op for ex) has high cred. I like Snapped a whole lot, watched all thirty seasons, but I Love (love love) "Someone They Knew". Better presentation, production, and NO NONSENSE, or shall I say, No Oxygen!!!!!!!
Tamron I miss you on the today show!
I c the comments about this women Tamron Hall idk who she is but I'm sure she's great because all the comments r positive but this is still about someone who lost their life and was murdered like least show some respect.
Ms. Hall is the host and commentator on the broadcast. She is not directly involved in the case. She is a well-respected journalist.
Exactly! All these mfs are dumbasses
He might have been a ladies man because was probably on the "download" !!!! Atlanta is known for this element!!!
She had a whole husband..💭 jealous how sway!!!🤔
Why wasn't Dionne deported after serving her time in prison
Its been said, that’s where she is, & has been for years…
Oooh Tamron Hall is so good. And her aesthetic is hands down the best of all time IMO.
I knew she was guilty as soon as she started giggling. Smh that won't nerves, she just didn't care. 🤦🏾♀️😑
Never heard of Ms. Hall before. Now i love her!
She has The Tamron Hall Show and the Tamron Hall Store
😯 everyone does after one episode of whatever she does...been fan of hers for years. She was led to do these types of stories after the murder of her sister 😥. She's awesome at this, has 3 shows, one on prime TV, ch.7 and now Court TV.
Her hair too short.
Yes Tamron knows about it she lived threw it I believe her sister was killed sad
I love this show , finally some murders I haven't heard about!
The Icarus analogy was right on point!
What a tragedy
Play with someone's emotions like that, you reap what you sow.
Exactly! Unfortunately he bought that murder on himself
Y'all do realize she was married too, right? She's no better than him and you don't get to murder someone for that.
When a defendant doesn't take the stand in her own defense it doesn't take much evidence for a jury to find her guilty.
That's not true. 🙄
Not True! A defendant...all defendants are highly discouraged from taking the stand. They begged Jussie Smollette not to take the stand, but his narcissistic need overtook good sense and he screwed himself!
False as hell.
High Value Man 😂😂😂
Not the character. Low value man.
Low value women..... 🤦
Way too much reasonable doubt
Whose here from Love and Murder?
she is one cruel woman and these kind of persons always get away.
And playing with womans emotions is cruel too. I'm asking for trouble. Men need to be honest . But I am not supporting killing at all.
There wasn't enough evidence, it's crazy.
