  • With a continuous glucose monitor (CGM), many people will start by using one for a month to get a baseline picture of their metabolic health.
To get that baseline, the key is to eat, exercise, and sleep as you normally would. You can then start to make changes to your lifestyle habits so you can improve your metabolic health over time.
How long you use a CGM will depend on your goals and how you hope to achieve them through the real-time data you’re receiving. So there’s no right or wrong answer for how long to use a CGM.
A CGM sensor, however, needs to be changed about every two weeks, though this timeline varies based on the sensor brand. In your Levels kit, you’ll receive instructions on how to apply or change your sensor.
