Always trying to find a good UA-cam page to suggest to clients wanting to learn more about health, just been going through your videos and happy to find someone that can help explain or show people health and wellness. Definitely a top 10/10
Very informative video, I have been using the FreeStyle libre sensor with Nightrider Blucon. It allows me to read my bloods without having to prick my fingers. I can see exactly the state of my bloods and what has happen. It provides a clear picture of how food and exercise affect my bloods. I feel I can control my diabetes a lot better.
In Australia, the National Diabetes Service Scheme system provides CGM's at a discount BUT ONLY to type 1 diabetics! Surely this is discrimination in its most reprehensible form!!!
I’m so confused on how it last a whole month. Is it just me or doesn’t a month have 30 days? But they give you two sensors for just 28 days? Something ain’t matching.
Cool video. I knew about continuous glucose monitors before, and that not only diabetics use them, but I think I was only aware of simpler ones. For example the FreeStyle libre. I haven't used it (yet) but from my understanding it just gives a glucose number every 5 or 15 minutes, but has no ability to keep track of exercise or meals. I've recently heard of Levels (they call it a "metabolic health tracker" but it seems very very similar to the NutriSense product you reviewed.) On the one hand those services look great, but to pay $199/month or more (including 2 sensors) rather than just buying the sensors directly for $40-50 each, is quite a premium for the service. If it was truly seamless where I could just take a photograph of what I ate and had my Apple watch data automatically integrated into the app, it might be worth it. But at the end of the day, it is learning the "hacks" that keep blood glucose in the target range, such as exercising before or after meals, avoiding carbs and/or processed foods, or combining different macro nutrients (e.g. eating fiber-rich or fat-rich foods first and the carbs at the end of the meal). I know the ZOE app used their special muffins to do specific experiements to see how your body reacts to carbs and fat, but it would be helpful if countries like NutriSense and Levels gave instructions for "n of 1" experiements that you could do to figure out what "hacks" work to keep your blood glucose in the target range for longer. Thanks again for the video!
Thank you for your video (and for the shots of your adorable pooch!). I quit drinking after reading Euphoric and learning what alcohol does to the body. I continued my quest of taking better care of myself by purchasing this so that I could learn more about how my body responds to food/exercise for weight loss. Knowledge is power and since we're all built differently, I want to find what works for ME. For those who are concerned with cost, I get it. However, if you are doing this for weight loss, clinics and so-called diet plans cost even more. This device will tell you what is working for you and what isn't. A short commitment with this will tell you what you need to know to make positive changes. And for the squeamish, you don't feel a thing when applying! 💗
i am able to manage my diabetes well because of blucon with libre sensor..it works similar to nutrisense but very economical with great features and great customer service
Thank you for a great review (p.s. price is a deal breaker 😵💫). Are you aware of a way to acquire ATP information from the glucose levels and whether the source is generated from carbs, fat or protein? I count calories for weight maintenance, with exercise for health, but having an auto-immune disorder severely impacts my energy. I would love to hack my metabolism and increase my energy production. Thanks!
I was REALLY looking forward to getting one of these! But I'm not diabetic (so no assist from insurance) and $200-300/month? No way. Shocked that the price is still so high.
go for abbott freestyle... I pay out of my pocket 64Euro for a 2 week sensor. A really great tool to use for few months to observe and learn correlation between eating food and blood sugar (levels and trends).
@@Meritumas PERFECT!!! That's exactly the way I would want to use one. Only long enough to evaluate patterns, reactions to certain foods, etc. Thank you you so much, JJ. Have a good one!
Kind of metaverse, or controlling many things by third parties without knowing any individuals. instead of this add a chip in your mind and everything will be fine. Even after that have you guarantee that you will live long than expected
DO NOT USE NUTRISENSE unless you want pay them for services not delivered. I signed up initially for the 3 month plan. They invoice you, then they ship the CGMs - or not in my case. For the third month, they shipped my CGMs almost 2 weeks late (12 days to be exact). What did they offer me as compensation? Nothing. Here is the email they sent me: "I understand that you're frustrated with the delay in receiving your CGMs for this month. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the shipment delay. The 4th of July holiday did impact the normal shipping schedule, resulting in a delay in delivery. I have tracked your package, and it is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, June 11th. Here is the tracking information:. I apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Regarding refunds, I want to inform you that once monthly charges have been processed, subscriptions are non-refundable."
Looks better than my Dexcom G6 all I see is my BS going high, low oh elevated, I know many people are using these CGM to prevent type 2 diabetes but I hope people know that anyone can get Type 1 diabetes no matter how healthy they eat.
Don't waste your money. Spend it on healthy foods and a gym membership. Monitpring your blood sugar in real time for non diabetics is like checking if your freshly painted walls are dry yet every 5 minutes. It is not necessary.
This is NOT a cgm just like the freestyle libre is NOT a cgm! If you have to swipe it’s actually NO different to pricking your finger! Like seriously. Why do people not understand this?? A CGM is like the dexcom G6 or the eversense etc which actually take readings very regularly and don’t require you to be awake to sort out your levels. I’m sorry, you have misrepresented what a CGM is and that demonstrates to me that you’re actually not so bright. The rest is just the app and hey guess what? Lots of free apps that can be used!! The rest is a little concept but not actually automatically of any benefit. So seriously?? Get it right! Not that hard yet people are too stupid to understand that this is an expensive TOY!!
@@Jamesbradley001 I’m fine I just think people in authority should actually KNOW and provide accurate information and not mislead people. I’m kinda strange like that! You want to deal with people lying and misleading you then you’re good and you can RELAX and not make comments at all. So really, you and people like you are the problem. See ya!
NutriSense malicious subscription model We get 2 subscription one for 3 moths and the other one for 1 moth and after we choose and pay more for the 1 moth we have another $350 charge, contact customer service: I would like to note with the 4-month shelf life, you can activate your sensors whenever you want. This gives you flexibility, and the ability to customize your tracking time to match your schedule. Each sensor lasts about 14 days, and the 14 days of monitoring does not start counting down until you apply and activate the new sensor. Moving forward, I'd like to confirm that your subscription has since been successfully canceled from auto-renewal within the app. I also see that you have an active auto-renwal on your 3-moth subscription. Would you like for me to cancel this? (12:10:17) Giovanni Rueda: Yes please cancel (12:11:24) Giovanni Rueda: Can I cancel my 3 moth subscription and make it 2 moths because of this issue? (12:16:04) Giovanni Rueda: Please I feel the subscription model is malicious because I choose the 1 moth plan (12:18:17) Tom Greene: We try to be as transparent as possible with our auto-renewal policy and I would like to provide steps we go through to make this aware. When first onboarding (before the accounts activation) we send out questionnaires to help with eligibility. Number 20 in the questionnaire explains the auto-renewal process and requires acknowledgment and agreement before being able to continue with the questionnaire. We also have this information accessible within our website's policies. Additionally, you can have full access to your account details within the app, by clicking on the three lines in the top left corner and selecting "programs", you will see your next billing date and your status of auto-renewal with the option to cancel. As a growing company, we are constantly looking for innovative ways to enhance our member's experience and we would love your feedback on additional ways we can improve this process.

I was amazed to learn the impact of doing just a little workout before or after a meal. Great tip!

Thank you, we are considering doing this as a family and this brought us closer to a decision.
Just doing squats for 30 minutes brings my sugars down by 40mg and my post meal sugars are in perfect numbers on my blucon CGM
You do 30 mins of squats after every meal?
would you recommend Nutrisense over levels?

i will buy where the buyer?
Is there a reason theirs is like a HUGE round pad, instead of a more discreet smaller one?
Great video!
Thank you! So informative and easy to understand for a beginner. Great video, much appreciated.
That child is sick. All that excessive body language while talking is not normal and suggests she suffers from a mental disorder.

How do you remove the sensor at the end of the 14 days?
Based on the historical evils we acknowledge, it's probably best to avoid implantable technologies. They will open the door for abject tyranny.

I too have Fitbit. Likewise I’m trying to sync my NutriSense. I can’t find the Fit to Fit app. What’s the icon for it ?
Where is it sold
Will health insurance cover this?

Just say no to implantable technology and central bank digital currency.
$300 when people barely can afford food..
