    As a CGM user with diabetes with over 4 years continuous use of CGM's, there is a definite risk of subsurface skin infection due to the wick placed below the skin for 10 to 14 days continuous wear. The subsurface infections are a serious issue when they occur. I have also become sensitized to various plastic allergens like IBOA and 2,2′-methylenebis(6-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol) monoacrylate or cyanoacrylates, These are known skin sensitizers and allergens and in my case, I am no longer able to wear the Dexcom G7 nor Abbott Freestyle 3 CGM sensor. My larger issue with the promotion of CGM use by non diabetics is the out of pocket cost for medical information that has been proven to have no medical value in the control of blood sugar and progression to diabetes. A 30 mg/ dL rise in interstitial blood sugar after a meal has never been shown in any medical study to be of long term significance to your health. Check you A1C at a doctor's office yearly and only pursue CGM when it starts to rise above a healthy baseline of 4,5 to 5.3. A 30mg/dL post meal bump is not a sign of metabolic health issues. Reducing overall carbohydrate consumption is a good idea for many reasons but slavishly tracking it after each meal is insane if you are not a diabetic. Diabetics can see a >300 mg/dL rise without insulin after that same meal even when carb limited. Now that is a blood sugar dysregulation.

      Their website brought me to this UA-cam video, and the caption beside the video says, "After purchase, you'll have the option to choose between the two most advanced CGM models in the market (Dexcom G7 or Abbott FreeStyle Libre 3). Both are smaller and more accurate than previous models and stream your glucose data in real time." So it looks like Libre 3 👍🏼

    She talked WAY, WAY too fast and her screen shots last for less than a second so you can't even look at them. I have watched this 10 times and can't figure out what to do. This is NOT intuitive in the app. Plus there is no way to call anyone to ask for help.

    60,000 customers - More than 500,000 CGMs shipped - More than 7 million food logs - More than 700 million glucose points - More than 468,000 email subscribers - More than 200 podcast interviews - More than 2 million annual blog visitors - More than 15 million views on UA-cam I appreciate the overview of Casey's accomplishments. However, my main question is: what have you accomplished for your users, customers, followers, and community? I would love to see testimonials that highlight the real, tangible results your audience has achieved thanks to your efforts. Authentic, genuine feedback could significantly benefit Casey's Levels. Levels offers valuable information about metabolic health, but I believe it could be even more impactful if this information translated into real-life accomplishments that improve metabolic health. The video posted a week ago has only one comment and a modest number of views, suggesting that while the content is informative, people are looking for evidence of actual results from the information provided. Dr. Lustig, you often emphasize the importance of removing fructose from our diets, implying it’s a cure-all solution. While fructose is indeed a concern, it is only a small part of a much larger problem. It's important to address the broader picture when discussing metabolic health. Please keep in mind that many of the issues you discuss predominantly affect those who are less fortunate and cannot afford a CGM or pasture-raised eggs. How about using your platform to help the broader community and the country? Life is short, and there's immense fulfillment in making a positive impact beyond financial gains. Thank you!

    Love Seth Godin! Brilliant marketer. Genius understanding of human psychology. Was surprised to hear his comments on early Christianity. Around 23:10. The early Christians weren’t trying to grow Judaism, hence no need to push circumcision. It wasn’t something they dropped to widen their appeal. The reason Christianity grew so quickly is because there were hundreds of witnesses of the resurrected Christ.

    In the end a brand is not a tangible thing. You don’t start a brand. You start a business that offers a particular product or service that solves a particular problem for a particular group of people. If you do it right, then you build a reputation that then attracts similar people to your products and repels those who aren’t. Once again, those perceptions is your brand.

  • @Mkngthebrnd
    @Mkngthebrnd Рік тому

    Great content. Just wanted to add some insight on the topic of being “on brand.”Let me know if I’m wrong. But seems like you were implying that quality of a production, like an ad, is the main aspect to a brand. If I’m correct in this observation I would have to disagree. A brand is the perception someone has about a product or service. That perception is owned and shaped by the customer and not the company. Companies can influence those perceptions but not make them. Depending on the message that the company is intending to rely their tone, and the platform they are using to promote determines the style of production. Whether it be low budget or it’s counter part. Every company must strategically decide for each project plan to publish.
